Is it advisable for the person to go another Bsc or diploma program in Canada.

I am currently on a Tier 2/skilled worker visa in the UK. My wife who is going to study Nursing in Ontario was initially refused based on the concern below. She applied from the UK

"Your immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence"
"The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application."

But we tried applying again without including our child and explained that our Biometric Resident Permit Card had a wrong expiry date and it was successful the second time.

She is going for Nursing as well.

If you can convince them that you will return to Nigeria via home ties, employment, properties etc , justify why canada schools over UK (this was flagged in our GCMS note) you are good to go

Its possible, she has documentary evidence of your earnings/source of income and the account should be void of lump sum deposits. Your relationship should also be explained with documents.

Anyone selling Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) to you is a big time criminal. CoS is not for sale to employee. Is d duty of ur employer to give you CoS. The employer pay for it.

Regarding getting health care jobs in UK. It will be very difficult for someone who is not in UK but that does not mean that is not possible for you to achieve that. Is very possible but it demand determination and consistency.
Get ready to get rejection/unsuccessful email messages.

It does not matter weather you study art or science.

The only challenge with the whole process is just that location. Not in UK.

Some employers employ one without health care experience and train them.

If you have determination of leaving naija. Never lose hope. Keep applying for jobs.

Please I need your advice. I saw a sponsored ads on Facebook about Canada Jobs. It also captioned that the company will sponsor the visa. I picked the number and chatted on WhatsApp. I was asked to send my CV to their email and after 24hours, I was mailed that my qualifications met their requirements. I was offered job as a Drill Engineer for the Oil and gas company. I was later sent Temporary Residence Visa Form to fill as well as Labour Market Impact Assessment(LMIA) form and Job agreement letter(that have in it that I will be responsible for the biometrics fee while other cost till arrival will be handled by the company). I filled and signed where necessary and returned them with my International passport as requested.

After few days, I was mailed to send the LMIA , Visa Form and my International passport to the lagos embassy of Canada through the email they gave (lagos@vfsglobal.g-c.online, so as to book my biometrics. I did as instructed and after few hours, got a mail from the said lagos embassy mail that my documents have been reviewed and i should proceed to pay for my biometrics through the payment link supplied so I can be given date for the biometrics. The biometrics fee is $116 CAD and processing fee is $91 CAD, bringing total to $207 CAD which amounted to #66,549.89 or pay same into one CEDI SIGNAL ZENITH BANK account and send receipt to them.

I am confused as to being real or not which is the reason I seek your genuine and honest advice.

During my own time, I got a separate email from TLs office, with DHL tracking number on it.

Hello House, I received email from TLS Ikeja yesterday around 6:01pm that my wife passport is ready for collection.

Two emails message came at the same time, the content still the same.

But no email for DHL DISPATCH from TLS yet, waiting for the courier return email because I paid for it.

That's self service, is not premium and is not super priority..

When you select the d date, There is an option that will come up on d next page. Where they will ask you, do if u want to upgrade to premium service or not.

You have to select No Thanks option.
It will take you to next page to confirm ur appointment.

No any added charges, this is just self service.


It hurt me when pple wast unnecessary money that does not worth it..

If you have money to waste, you go for super priority service visa out in next walking 5days than walk-in visa out in next 15working days.

If you have a choice, I will suggest to try VI. Based on my experienceas a family of 3, I could only get a date for self service for one person as there were no available slot. What I did was to choose assisted service and some dates opened up in August. I then went there for a walk in. Wall in crowd yesterday and today is massive. I got there at 6am yesterday but couldn't enter as the slots for walk in was exhausted. I was able to do biometrics today based on the list the porter took yesterday. Those that got there at 3am this morning have not had a chance to enter as at when I left there.

Too much story I guess, but it is just to say...if you have the extra means, please go to VI.

It depends on your affordability. Google hotels in Ikeja GRA or Maryland.
I know of one presken hotel branch very close to the visa application centre.
