FamilyHe Told His Fiancee To Remove Her Leg Chain Before Meeting His Mother by ochallo(op): 6:19pm On Apr 12, 2010
this is a funny story of my friend who took his girl to meet his mother and on entering their compound he noticed his gal was wearing a leg chain and immediately asked her to remove it that his mother would not approve it and that she can't afford to be in his mother's bad books, she refused and he later begged her but when she was adamant he asked her to get back into the car so that he can drop her off, she then got in the car and he dropped her at  her home without seeing his mother who was upstairs in the house unaware of the whole scene. they are presently mad at each other . and i being a friend of both of them don't know what to do, what do you advise?
Music/RadioRe: I Am Ashamed Of Naija Retarded Music by ochallo: 5:38pm On Apr 09, 2010
@ayettymama
beyonce got 3 grammys for single ladies, get your facts right and i must say it is well deserved
1, best r&B song
2 best female vocal performance ,R&B
3, song of the year.
it was a combination of beats, and tonne of music while she rocked it with high noted vocals all through. moreso it is an feminist song and such songs always win best song awards because they are said to empower the woman , and when you win song of the year, you definately must have won best song in your genre, grammy awards are like a domino.

the others were for
1 at last- traditional r%b
2 best R&B album
3halo- best pop, this though would have gone to adele- hometown glory if only the girl had included beats in her song. the music was not complete.

the grammy is still the best music award in the world.

CelebritiesRe: Mike Adenuga To Fly In Beyonce For Daughter's Wedding In April by ochallo: 5:00pm On Apr 09, 2010
beyonce is coming to sing single ladies and tell the bride to show everybody that she has a ring. then she would sing dangerously in love and crazy in love and then halo and so other songs, its would definately be a mini concert, few songs and you can bet she would steal the whole show and the groom would wish he had married beyonce, she is going to soak herself in olive oil , natural oils and horse shit so she can glow and then show off her legs and do the crab bend and shake her hips. lol

it would take nothing less than a million dollars to invite her down. the last one she did she collected about 2.5 million dollars from one rich terrorist during new year's eve. If she is going to come with a full band it would be more than 1 million dollars and believe it or not, she would be prettier, look taller and obviously richer than most people in the party.lol
BusinessBank Pays Him #23,000 As Settlement After Working For 2 Years by ochallo(op): 2:46pm On Mar 27, 2010
i just visited a friend who was recently fired from FINBANK, he was complaining bitterly about being broke and i asked him what he did with the money he was paid when he was relieved of the bank job. to my amazement, he showed me the letter given to him dated january 2010 in which he was paid just #23,000 after working in the bank for over 2 years.

i can't seem to understand what reforms this sanusi is doing and why that bank FINBANK cannot even afford to pay those they sent home .

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Beware Of Marketing Vacancies In Banks! by ochallo: 8:26pm On May 28, 2009
well this poster has said a lot,i work in a bank presently and i am a marketer, i was recently deployed from operations,im in a civil servant state ,so we depend on contractors and few rich people, my target is 100 million each month, last month i was only able to mobilise 6.5 million(very poor), this month is better than that and i believe next month would be better, i came close to getting a 23 million naira but for some reasons it is being delayed, im new in the state and i don't speak their language but my dear optimism is every thing, i can't leave my job until i get a better one. i remember choosing this job over an oil servicing company that was paying far less in lagos(1000000per annum difference), but i keep my head up and believe that it would get better even in the recession.

FoodRe: What Foods Did You Hate As A Kid That Your Mum Forced You To Eat? by ochallo: 6:57pm On Feb 22, 2009
now i eat almost all kinds of food once it is neat, tasty and well prepared.
back then, i hated beans with a passion and amala because most times we ate amala after school on weekdays and by that time it is already cold with a hard surface cos it's prepared in the morining and kept in coolers.

i'm tired of bread though especially those perfumed ones they sell nowadays

BusinessRe: What Was Your Worst Experience With Our Nigerian Banks? by ochallo: 2:58pm On Feb 22, 2009
banks that have very unfriendly/hidden charges:
1.UBA
2.Zenith
3.Oceanic

banks with moderate charges.
1.Finbank
2.Unity bank
3.Stanbic IBTC.

ATm scams are very rampant this days but it is not from the bank,it is mostly due to equipment error,e-fraud by technocentic fraudsters, don't keep all your money in an ATm accessible account, know your account officers and invest greatly. T
he choice is yours.
