Billyonaire: The visit to Maiduguri, Yobe and 2 other states were already planned since last December, but the opposition had a wind of it and rushed there first so as to make the President's visit, which was under wraps seem reactionary. APC will do anything to confuse uninformed Nigerians but we should understand that today's APC are yesterday's men who only metamorphose for their selfish interests and not for the good of common Nigerians.Do you mean it takes over 3 months (December to early March) for Ebele& his minders to plan and implement a state visit? A state visit in the country over which he presides (regardless of the security threat)? A state he's yet to visit going to 4 years? Francois Hollande,France's C-in-C, was in Mali less than 48 hours after mainly French troops stabilized the suitation with the AZAWAD insurgency (whatever they are called) Ebele Jonny go slow,Nigeria's supposed C-in-C, is yet to visit Borno since 2009 Now you know which C-in-C is a coward. |

I don't know about been happy but they were more contented Now our own generation says get rich (by every means possible even if you sell your soul to darkness) or die trying |
The question is not whether he has the legal right to run Even kindergaten pupils know the answer to that Rather, the question is is whether he has the moral nous to do so? ![]() Whether he has honour? ![]() Can Ebele be trusted is the question? This is he who denied knowledge of Gov Slyva's EFCC's travails only to state he 'installed' Dickson as Bayelsa's governor because Slyva couldn't complete an hotel project he started when he(Ebele) was governor A man that has reneged on his promise to govern for only a term. A promise captured even by foreign media not to talk of local ones One who denied (actually shamelessly lied) on national TV that the PDP has a zoning pact A man whose media minders denied his wife was sick but rather on vacation only for the wife to hold a lavish thanksgiving service on been able to overcome life threatening sickness in hospital One who told us he doesn't give a DAMN regarding public declaration of his assets in such a corruption riddled land as Nigeria A man who has told northern governors their written pact with him to run for only one term no longer holds because Northern Nigeria wasn't delivered to him politically I could go on and on but I ask, IS THIS THE KIND OF CHARACTER NIGERIANs CAN TRUST? ONE WHO LIES AT WILL? ONE WHO LACKS HONOUR Without trust,a marriage dies When a leader is not trustworthy, calamity and corruption await Decide wisely in 2015 Use your vote to speak out loud |
@ FutureDon, good to see your post, hope you are finding your time over there interesting? @ topic, how do you handle your finances I remember been seeing my school's FAQs that they do not accept debit/credit cards payment from Nigeria when I wanted pay my initial deposit However, I'm thinking of using my GTB Mastercard whilst there [UK] by leaving the bulk of my upkeep money here [my GTB Nigerian acct] and withdrawing on a need to use basis But is that a wise move especially as I will not be residing in a major financial hub like London [although UK's banking system is excellent]? Kindly let me have your input and thoughts to synthesise with mine Thanks |
I have a TECNO T8 phone which is unresponsive to touch,I can only recieve incoming calls &read texts because of its physical buttons&volume control but not previous messages Cant even access my phone book nor load credit due to the unresponsive screen Please what could be wrong and how much would it likely cost me to repair since its still useful as a back up phone Also can I change the OS or something? Been thinking of getting a Galaxy pocket dual SIM as my back up phone but that will mean letting go of a good though low end T8 Got it for 19k when it came out only for TECNO to ship out the N3 some months later E just be like say I flush money for toilet when I see low end Andriods not up to how much I buy am back then ini4brandon: pls.techies help. me. my techno d3 battery dosnt last a full day after 100%charging. any tips?No be Andriod phone? Smart phones are notoriously power hungry except they are on standby for most of the aay Get an additional battery but hey don't TECNO phones usually come with a spare battery? |

drizzit: now dis statement just goes a long way to show the booming market for used phones in nigeria aka computer village. At tha same time it sounds corny.....and racist. Why specifically refer to Lagos,Nigeria? Is there any relevant data showing how many used phones from the US and Europe get to Nigeria and Africa?I thought so too but recall Nigeria is Africa's largest phone market Why we in Nigeria don't have such a mechamism in place bears me hollow knowing the number of phones(smart and not smart) lost by Nigerians Or perhaps if the phone manufacturers can create a kill switch known/activated only by the original owner of a phone I lost a Samsung Galaxy SL 2 weeks back and even though I have a better replacement,I'm stiil thinking how to squeeze the neck of the dude who stole it not forgetting retrieving some sensitive stuff which was on my SD card. |
Policewoman: He is getting on your nerves now, but yesterday u peeps were praising him to high heavens. Abeg he should make them work FULLTIME on saturdays. romanlaw: Chai!! If its GEJ that made this announcement!! Omo hell will let loose, ACN abi APC ati LAi Mohammed will go mad. BUT because ITS OUR DEAR FASHOLA THAT COVERS ALL OUR LOOTING.....ITS OK BY US. cHAI!!It is because Lagos has a semblance of order and performance which cannot be said for your fish oil brained boss Also in a truly federal system, the states are free to enforce their working hours & civil servants don't really do much in 9ja save for a few states |
Good move Gov Fash Those ministries are quite vital Bkl4real: The governor said those accusing his administration of non-performance were obviously embarrassed by his performance because it has “exposed the inefficiency of the Central Government they manage”.Fash the ca$h throwing stones Expect attack dog Okupe to come out barking as usual. |
ocelot2006: I'm afraid I disagree with you. How do we get rid of the nuclear waste? And why not go for cleaner forms of energy? We could harness the sun up north by building large solar farms. The nation equally boasts of large natural gas deposits. We could equally use that to power current and future power plants, and adopt new technologies that cut down or eliminate harmful wastes from these plants.May heaven bless you Ocelot seeing we like grandstanding a lot here in 9ja Pikin wey still dey crawl wan start dey fly We seem not to see what natural disasters can do to a nuclear plant e.g. Japan &the Tsunami of 2 years back We leave what we have abundantly and is safer i.e.sunshine and go seek what we have no homegrown capacity for |
Afam4eva: I can tell you that a lot of Nigerians look like that.Chei Naija people are not smiling ![]() |
Wish you the best Madam Ngoo BTW,how come sge's going to the UK this late Visa issues? Thought Fash gave her the ca$h late last year Heart&kidney transplant at one go?! ![]() REALLY WISH HER THE BEST |

obailala: If the 2 anthems must be sung, is the proper thing not to sing the anthem of the host country last? Isnt it how its done in football games?Na football match be this? SMH @ the reasoning of people |
Good move by the people and state of Ogun Guess that's how THISDAY normally do their thing in their Abuja shindigs Now Nduka O knows some people just don't give an AmeriKKKan phuck |

I don’t know if its real but I do know their deposit rates don't cut it Fidelity offers 4.5% on 1mill while GTBank offers 7.5% and Access Bank ,6.5% I would have thought GTBank would offer a lower rate as they have a better credit profile but hey even Einstein was wrong on some things |
okine4real: my question is this.if i fix 3M for a year. whats going to be the percentage and specific amount that would get to my pocket. You should get the percentage quoted seeing the percentage quoted is on yearly basis but many peoples PEOPLEs DONT KNOW this If you have the money at hand walk into banks (personally GTBank gave me 7.5% on 2.4 mill which I'm rolling over for 3months) and find out Ask the officer to calculate it for you (remove any tax&charges,) so you'd have an idea of how much is due to you Also find out how easy it is to liquidate in case of financial emergency or economic instability Although TBs would give a higher markup but I'm embracing the LEAST volatile investment platform before the time comes for my intended project. Access bank also a has a FRD investment platform of 11% per year The key is ASK ASK &ASK especially when the money is already in your account for money is the ONLY language understand |
jerk: who knows tht of fidelity cus d are giving me 4:5% pa on 1million.Fidelity is low TOO LOW They offered me same about 2 and half weeks back Access Bank offered 6 or 6.5% -can't recall (though their FRD product offers 11%) Finally fixed with GTB for 7.5% Do your math and go to the banks personally as you can get higher rates than that listed on the bank's website |
sportfeva: Stealing is taking a new twist especially in Lagos. How many times has bank robbery happen in last 6 months compared to previous years like 2 or 3 yrs ago. There is improvement in that area. So kidnapping is the new thing. My own preventive dose.True that Kidnapping is truely the new gold rush for criminal minded elements Nearly happened to me too by someone by mama once trusted |
RIP Wish Toyin&your family the fortitude to bear this airmark: Imagine making money in Nigeria and you will still be fearful to enjoy the fruit of your hardwork. A rich man living amidst poor men is aSo true Its scary |
When Tunde Bakare said Ebele's destiny is to bankrupt Nigeria Many, myself inclusive, thought it was sour grapes because he lost the election. With hindsight Pst Bakare was spot on Jonathan has destroyed the handbrakes as he accelerates towards Nigeria's financial ruin. |

Jarus: Honestly, GEJ is getting himself too involved in politics than governance/administration.So on point If Jonny go slow devoted half the time he's using to scheme back into Aso Rock [recalling his first pronouncement was proposing a six year tenure for elected officers], we'd be seeing tangible benefits of his administration. |
Why would she pour acid on herself, her beautiful self? What did she stand to gain? But then why would she also research on acid attack victims BEFORE been attacked? Over to you Naomi. |
