Yoruba men marry your women because of the exposure to your women. You don't expect igbo men to marry Yoruba women because there are few Yoruba people in your enclave compared to the SW. People tend to marry from their environment especially women. Men are more inward looking and women seem to be carried away easily..

If I grew up in igbo land I would still marry from my people but a lady would be carried away easily due to their emotion and feeble mind. I understand your pain. Our men are marrying of your best women. Just like other Africans are jealous of Nigerians for marrying their women.

the only way igbo girls are more enterprising than Yoruba girls is in runz. Dont dull yourself. Yoruba women are trained to think for themselves due to education and the fact that yoruba culture treats women as equals and fellow human being , not a piece of property to marry off . that is why a yoruba man will send both his son and daughter to school unlike our eastern brothers.

Also if a yoruba and an igbo woman for some reason become single parents, an igbo woman is more likely to do runs to feed the children while more likely a yoruba woman will become sharp and engage in some petty things to train her children all the way to university. they have morals.

Yoruba women don't view marriage as a do or die affair, their happiness and that of their children comes first. If a man is messing up, there are other options out there, they may be frowned upon by society but they are brave enough to stand for themselves.

I and my friend with countless of them and we talk about how unkempt and untutored most of them are. yoruba women av their flaws likewise Igbo women but saying your women are better than Yoruba women is totally wrong, the truth is that yoruba women are more exposed and outspoken, the major reason why divorce is common among Yoruba women not because of all this trash you see online. for instance,it is very common to see Igbo women engaging in same business with the husband,helping her husband in shop instead of her own business but u will never see any Yoruba woman doing such, she would rather have her own business. most Yoruba with woman are difficult to control, Yoruba woman can build house before her husband if he's not smart but I will still settled down with a yoruba lady even if I sleep with thousands of Igbo girls. Actually Hausa men marry outside their tribe more than anyone else. Just that they hardly marry outside the north and outside their religion.

Majority of the rich & middle class hausa men marry fulani women and shuwa arab women cos they are very beautiful. They also marry Kanuri, Nupe, Gwari, Bauchi and other northern tribes women a lot.

Lately, it is becoming increasingly common the hear guys say these phrases "I was dumped by my girlfriend because I was too nice" or "Because I loved her so much, she started taking me for granted". It is sad but a fact that girls these days mistake guys gentility, patience or meekness for weakness.

I once dated this girl for a few months. She would not pick my calls or reply texts except when she felt like. She was always going ON and OFF. Nevertheless I was usually the first person she called if she ran into some trouble, got bored, needed some help or her first boyfriend got her side-lined on Valentine’s day.

I mustered some courage at a point and decided I couldn't bear it anymore.
