Politics › Re: El-rufai Replies Jonathan - Kindergaten President; Childish Handlers by odomanis: 3:04pm On Aug 15, 2013
EL Rufai needs to do more work. Let him furnish us with the names and portfolio of those appointees from Bayelsa and that of other states then, allow Nigerians to judge. It is not enough to say GEJ is favouring his home state. That is vague. We need data. Give us the figures if you really want us to take you serious.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Warns Bisi Akande To Respect His Age, by odomanis: 1:20pm On Aug 13, 2013
It takes a very unsound mind to refer as unserious and kindergaten,a man who could get a PHD,be a deputy governor, become a governor, become a vice president and finally a president of a country as big as and as difficult as nigeria. Meanwhile, this same person failed a governorship election in his state. Out of sympathy,Tinubu rehabilated him by making him party chairman.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Warns Bisi Akande To Respect His Age, by odomanis: 12:48pm On Aug 13, 2013
Look at this old man o ! You confirmed that you have held two meetings with the president, and he gave you audience.
You also said you have held long telephone conversation with him, which means he picked your call and spent long time with you on phone without cutting you off. just because you wrote him once and he did not reply and now you accuse him of being uncourteos and unserious. A man of your age should not exhibit rascality ! Nigerians are watching and listening. We know who to take serious and who not to take serious ! Dont just worry ! till 2015 !

Tribalism ! Discrimination ! Nepotism ! All, the bane of NIGERIA.

Have you noticed that no yoruba here has ever said that what FASHOLA did is wrong. Only Igbos have criticised the action.
And people still call NIGERIA a country. BIG ERROR !

Politics › Re: Jonathan To Commission Steel Plant Thursday! by odomanis: 8:49am On Apr 17, 2013
GEJ will not build or give money to private investors to build factories since the FG is privatising. So dont expect that. What FG under GEJ has done and keeps doing is to provide enabling environment for the factories to thrive. Grant waivers on tarriffs, import duty relief on raw materials and granting of Tax holidays to these companies. It is in appreciation of these supports that GEJ is being invited to commission the factory.

Somebody made mention of GEJ coming to EKO atlantic. He equally was invited because of his support to the project though initiated by Lagos state government. Be reminded that coastal lines do not belong to the states but FG. If GEJ did not give his approval,Lagos state cannot do anything on the area that will host the Eko atlantic project.

A lot is being done by GEJ and his team to encourage Private investors, that is why despite the low level of infrastructure which are being addressed anyway, companies are still coming in and springing up.

Politics › Re: EFCC To Arrest Priests Over Atuche’s N45 Million Tithe by odomanis: 2:38pm On Oct 05, 2012
Before you begin to blame the Priests or churches ask yourself these questions:
1. Does a Bank MD genuingly earn upto =N=450m per annum?
2. Apart from Bank's job, does Bank MDs have other businesses and investments that generate income to them?
3.Is Tithe 10% of your gross income?

From experience and current realities,Bank MDs are highly paid. Both Salaries, allowances, estacodes are very hudge. Because of the high income, they invest heavily in companies of their own, they invest in properties, shares and others which result in further income to them.

With the above explanation,=N=450m is not too much to be the Total Income of a Bank MD in Nigeria especially BankPHB that was one of the highest paying banks. It is even small. This means that =N=45m Tithe is not that much for such personality. So why should it raise query by the Church or Men of GOD? Please I dont blame the Priests.

I watched the address and the Hall was not deserted as the poster is trying so hard to make it look. DECEITS!! AND DECEITS !!!
Politics › Re: Jonathan Is A Trainee President - ACN by odomanis: 10:49am On Sep 27, 2012
Blair, who called for support for Jonathan, praised his efforts to reform the country, which he observed was a difficult but necessary thing to do.

Citing the case of the deregulation of the downstream sector of the petroleum industry and other critical areas, he said this was a moment of opportunity and therefore, Jonathan must have the courage to proceed with the planned economic reforms even though this would cause anxiety among Nigerians.

He said with what was going on in Nigeria, the country was on its way up, and that also meant that Africa was on its way up.

According to Blair, “This forum is to send out a clear message to the world that Nigeria is on the way up. So, to the international investors, come, see, and be part of the success story.

“I know it is tough and it is hard. One of the things I learned since leaving office is that it is not easy to get the advice and take the decisions.

“My plea is to stick with it, support the president and the ministers making these changes. My plea to Nigerians is: don't be deterred by the voices that say they are representing the majority of the public, but often are actually representing the minority or vested interests.”

THE ABOVE QUOTES WERE FROM FORMER BRITISH PRIME MINISTER TONY BLAIR AT AFRICA BIZ ROUNDTABLE IN NEWYORK THIS WEEK. HE IS A NEUTRAL OBSERVER OF NIGERIA. HE CONFIRMS THAT NIGERIA IS ON ITS WAY UP UNDER JONATHAN. I BELIEVE HIM INSTEAD OF BELIEVING A BIASED AND NEVER SEE WELL AND NEVER DO WELL ACN.
Politics › Re: Jonathan's Speech At The UN General Assembly by odomanis: 8:53am On Sep 27, 2012
Anybody who went to school, studied and passed WAEC,studied and passed JAMB,studied and became a graduate, studied and got MSC,even if he or she didnt read further will always appreciate someone who passed through that step. This is because they know what it takes to genuinely become a graduate, not to talk of a PHD holder and therefore will respect people with such.
Those who cheated to pass will always think it is easy to become a graduate and as such sees NO BIG deal in becoming one. All those who insult and abuse GEJ belong to the category of CHEATS. They really do not see any big deal in becoming a PHD holder.

Those of us who respect him and believe in him do so because,we know that what he has (PHD) is not for nonentities.

A WORD FOR THE WISE.
Politics › Re: Jonathan Orders CBN To Stop N5,000 Note Plan by odomanis: 12:58pm On Sep 21, 2012
How can we be foolish to call this man a listening President. He is a dumb President for ever contemplating the N5000 note. He is the dumbest to have even granted an approval for that assuming the idea originated from Sanusi.

A President should know enough to direct and plots our economy; and not one that sits idly and schemes around looking for where to put his voice in order to be called a good man.

A president is a leader, our general that plots every of our move. A president is one that takes the initiative in every fronts of our national endeavour and not an unlearned idoits that reacts on issues based on an uninformed public opinion.

GEJ is undeserving of my President. He is a usurper.

Please check your spellings very well before dropping rubbish here. Again do you really mean plot or you were trying to say pilot? Let us understand you. And for your information, you are just one out of over 168million Nigerians who made him President. Your opinion and insults is very minute and insignificant. You are calling our President, can your Father be ordinary Governor not to talk of President. You are the IDIOT. correct ur spelling of idiot from here.
Politics › Re: GEJ To Strip Questionable Characters Of National Awards by odomanis: 9:51am On Sep 19, 2012
Nigerians, especially nairalanders find it difficult to read. You people are just responding to a misleading topic. GEJ asked the award committee to review the names of all the awardees from inception till date and report anyone of them who has derailed and now has questionable character. He was not referring to the current recipients. He has put in place a formidable committeeled by retired CJN Alfa Belgore who cannot just bring a person of questionable character for the honours. He also charged the current recipients to be role models to the comming generation. If after receiving the award and you go and indulge in questionable behaviour, the award shall be strip off you.It is not a right but a priviledge. That it can be withdrawn if one does no longer meet with the qualification, simple. That is just what the President is saying. I dont know how this is difficult to understand.
Travel › Re: Aviation-Minister Blocks Foreign Airlines From Abuja by odomanis: 12:48pm On Aug 29, 2012
Some of you who are against the ministers position are not getting it. There are existing international airlines plying abuja and lagos. Government is only saying that they have enough in these two airports, that new entrants should go to Enugu instead where there is still space. This does not in any way mean that those residing in abuja or lagos will have to go to enugu 1st before flying out. There will still be flights from abuja and lagos for them. Talking about extra fare and extra risks. Those who will be joining enugu bound flights or take off from enugu are those who before now have been taking that extra risk and paying extra fare to come from the east either to lagos or abuja before they can fly out. They wont have to do that anymore, they can now save the extra fare and avoid the extra risk. REASON, PEOPLE !!
Travel › Re: Aviation-Minister Blocks Foreign Airlines From Abuja by odomanis: 10:54am On Aug 29, 2012
It appears some people did not get the aspect of OVERSTRETCHING the facilities at Abuja and Lagos. Why do that, when we have Enugu just upgraded to world standard with most modern facilities? If this regulation is not applied and crashes begin to happen here and there people will still blame the minister. Now she wants to prevent congestion, overcrowding and overstreching of facilities and some of you are complaining. What a people !

It is only Nigerians who are yet to see where Jonathan and his team are driving the country to. Obama can say this now because he has seen that GEJ and his team mean business and know what they are doing. He wants to tap in and take part of the glory. The whole world is now rushing to nigeria to invest and be part of the success story which the Transformation agenda is telling. You guys should just watch and see. Just be courageous enough to appologise to GEJ when we get there.
Politics › Re: Presidency Defends N5.6bn Paid To Ex-militants by odomanis: 2:18pm On Aug 27, 2012
It appears that we have forgotten so soon that the fight by the militants to control their resources almost grounded the Nigerian economy. The eploration workers all ran away, production was almost at zero level. With almost no income coming to the nation. Government needed to do something to stop this as the last resort since force couldnt solve the problem. If the price for oil production and income generation to continue is just 5.6b, is it not better we pay? Afterall,in the Gulf region and the persian countries in asia Individuals,Families,Communities own and cotrol the oil resources on their land and only pays TAX to the government but, here in Nigeria the government grabs it from them for nothing, the little 5.6b that is not even enough for them to share, unfair Nigerians are still complaining. WHAT AN INJUSTICE!
Politics › Re: Okupe's Lawyers Admit Fraudulent-Contracts In Benue & Imo by odomanis: 10:40am On Aug 22, 2012
Perhaps I read something different from what some of you who are blaming GEJ over Okupe read.

The article said he was chairman of the company and a stakeholder. It didnt say he was the MD/CEO. The Chairman is not incharge of the day to day running of the company but,the MD/CEO is. So,Okupe may not even be aware or involved in the transactions and transactional flaws of the company.
That may be why the EFCC had to let him go probably after finding him NOT GUILTY.
I equally read that the two transactions where settled amicably and out of cut. Is it not possible that Okupe intervened and probably made sure that the CEO acted in line with the contract agreement or probably made refunds? If this was the case, then he should be commended and deserves any appointment due to an honourable man. If Okupe committed a crime, why would Imo state government allow him go away with the state money? why would EFCC not charge him to court? In Law, an accused remains innocent until proven otherwise by a competent Law court. And no law court proved him guilty. Is that GEJ's making? Why expect GEJ to go against this Principle. You people should leave GEJ alone to continue with the good job he is doing, especially with electricity.

Politics › Re: Power Generation Hit 4237MW On August 6th: Jonathan Transformation? by odomanis: 10:29am On Aug 09, 2012
OFEOLORUN or whatever you call yourself. It appears that it is only you who is not aware that what he inherited is 2,800 megawatts of generation. Your country of how many (50)years and past leaders bequited only 2,800 megawats without shame, when Ghana and SA can boast of tens of thousands of megawatts. Now somebody through hardwork, patriotism and committment has added 1,427 megawats in just one year and you have the mouth to talk rubbish and accuse him of replacing what he depleted. Are you this daft ? Are you not surprised that the current generation and supply of 4,237 megawatts is the highest level ever, since the creation of Nigeria? I expected you to ask what previous leaders were doing. These include Buhari and IBB. How come we had only 2,800 megawatts before GEJ came? If you criticise a government for not doing what it is suppose to do, be courageous enough to commend the government when it does what it is suppose to do. That is what Nigerians are doing now and you are angry about it.
Celebrities › Re: Wizkid Insults D'banj On Twitter Called Him Akpan by odomanis: 9:19am On Aug 07, 2012
Hey Guys ! I dont see what whizkid did as insult. He is rather concerned and unhappy over the unbalanced union of Kanye and D'banj. It can be painful when someone u look up to with so much respect allows himself to be used by someguy as if he is nobody. You wont be happy. If some one uses your elder brother as boi boi, wont you be angry? Instead of accussing whizkid for insult, the question should be: Is Kanye actually using D'banj as Akpan? If it is tru, then all nigerians should join hanhds with whizzy to liberate D'banj before it becomes a national insult. YES ! ONE OF NIGERIA's LEADING STARS BEING USED AS BOI BOI is a national insult which needs to be stopped without further delay. SO,back to the question: IS WHIZKID SAYING THE TRUTH?

Ogoni is separate ethnic nationality very distinct from Ijaw, where GEJ belong. Bakare is aware of all these but he choose to lie and deceive or misguide those he can.He said now that it is the turn of otuoke, they have declared autonomy. LIER !! Otuoke is not Ogoni. Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Bakare Attacks Patience Jonathan by odomanis: 12:54pm On Aug 06, 2012
According to Mr Tunde Bakare,GOD factor made GEJ President. Since he recognises the fact that God made GEJ President, why cant he allow the man to do what God has asked him to do? Or is he saying that GOD made a mistake? If trully he is a man of God,he would have since submitted to the will of GOD and support GEJ as he presides over Nigeria. Must he continue with anger, bitterness and hatred as a result of his failure at the polls to become vice-president ?
Does his own scripture not tell him to respect and support constituted authority? If GOD made GEJ President of Nigeria ( as bakare rightly stated)then,it is for a purpose. Or is Bakare now saying that GOD is not all knowing? Bakare should go and learn the principles of politics with special emphasis on how to accept and live with political defeat. 2015 will soon be here,he can then represent himself to Nigerians for election so that we can test his popularity. The way Bakare is going, his greed and desperation may lead him to incure the wrath of GOD. TOUCH NOT MY ANNOINTED AND DO MY PROPHET NO HARM is in the bible, does Bakare not see it? If as he said,GOD made GEJ President then, he should stop fighting GEJ because he will be fighting GOD who made GEJ President. HE DOES NOT KNOW MORE THAN GOD. PERIOD !!!

Politics › Re: Jonathan Reacts To Impeachment Threat by odomanis: 8:53am On Jul 20, 2012
This house of reps are the most rascally, corupt and inconsistent we have ever had.(1). When the budget was prepared, did they not invite each minister to defend their budgets? why not call the ministers now to ask them why they are not implementing the budgets which they defended? (2)Where they not probing MDA's directly by themselves? Why didnt they warn the President to probe those MDAs? Because they expect Ministers to bribe them so as to get bigger allocations in the budget that is why they must do that. Because they expect the MDAs to settle them during probe that is why they must probe. May be because they have collected bribes from these ministers and MDAs,they no longer have the face or guts to call them for questioning. We are in this country together, let us see who will impeach GEJ.DEN OF ROUGUES AND ARMED ROBBERS. OBJ IS RIGHT.
