They have bloods in their hands
Which peace can these people offer? To you they have blood in their hands but, to them and their people they are freedom fighters. Do you know how many Niger delta youths that have benefitted and still benefitting from amnesty sponsored trainings all over the world? If they have blood in their hands, tell me any freedom fighter that does have blood in his hand. Nelson Mandela that the world celebrate today also had blood in his hand. In case you have forgotten, it is the understanding of the militant commanders and their ability to see reason and give the federal government the benefit of doubt that restored peace in the Niger delta. This of course return oil production and revenue generation to the country Nigeria. You get it ? |

jbloggs: I wonder if Fayose will ever show up at NEC meetings with the way he is opening his dirty mouth to say rubbish to the press about Buhari... What common sense is it to leave looters of federal treasury and go after election campaign sponsors? Governor Fayose has the constitutional right and duty to attend NEC meetings so, nobody can stop him from attending. Not even president buhari. And mind you,Fayose has not said that treasury looters should be left alone. He only said that Buhari should start with the treasury looters very close to him before travelling far. fayose also said that since buhari claims that he knows the looters and he knows where the loots are, instead of making public announcement in advance, that he should rather swing into action and recover the loots before announcing to the public. Fayose said that the president's style could give room for the looters to change the location of the loots or even run away. You can see that Fayose is even helping buhari with quality advise on how to go about his anti corruption project. So what is your problem with Fayose. |

madridguy: FAYOSE SHOULD GO AND SIT DOWN.
CHANGE IS HERE.
Same Fayose was shouting some months back when Buhari traveled to London to meet some of his Arab financier that his bringing money from terrorist to support his campaign. Same Fayose and other PDP goats still come to the media that Al-Qaeda is the major financier of Buhari election. Fayose should come up with a new ideal cos campaign period is over.
If Buhari replies him now some of his gullible followers will be shouting " Witch-hunting " Fayose has spoken the truth. Buhari should purge himself of corrupt allies first else, we mistake him as one of them. About Buhari replying him, he should reply by disproving the points raised by Fayose and not by Witch-hunting as you already know is Buhari's style. I am beginning to like this Fayose of a man. |

Can a bunch of people be any more confused? ? Can you even listen to yourself ? Who really are you referring to ? Is it Tanko Yakassai who is from Kano but choose to say the truth for national interest or are you referring to Igbos ? Please it will do you a lot of good if you quit hating. |

Ralph Uwechue was the President General of Ohaneze Ndigbo. He is from the same local govt as Ibe Kachikwu. Is he not Igbo too?" Who told you that he is not Igbo ? And how are you sure that those writing disclaimers on the internet are truly Igbos? Have you heard Ohaneze Ndi Igbo make such pronouncement ? Have you heard Any governor from the Igbo speaking states make such statement? At least these are official reps. The truth is that Dr. Kachikwu is an Igbo man and he is well qualified for the appointment. It has been our position that you can always get a qualified Igbo man in any field of human endeavour so, telling us that you have not appointed any Igbo because of merit is a serious fallacy. And finally, I seem not to understand what the whole noise about just one appointment out of about 30 made so far. Did we even have to shout so much before getting him to appoint an Igbo man? Good, an Igbo man has been appointed but, note that no South easterner has been appointed. May be that is what people are mixing up. Politically we don't use tribe, we use geopolitical zones. Just like Kinsley Kuku an Ijaw man from Ondo state will not stop South south peeps from asking for their fair share, Obi Kachikwu an Igbo man from Delta state will also not stop South east peeps from asking for their own fair share. |

This same governor that could not successfully run his state (economically) was thrown into the President's convoy to Washington as one of the few smart brains the president could reach out to.

Well, lets be fair, those people from the SS/SE will always support their beloved PDP until when they want Biafra (or maybe they wannna support both at the same time , who knows). The man single handedly finished this country. I am still amazed at where he got millions of votes from certain regions. It shows the amount of stupiid people we have in the winning regions and the country in general. Buhari should perhaps clear this people.

utumunta: This is the main reason Nigerians voted for him. In this area, he is better than former President Jonathan.
Buhari should also ensure that Ministries, parastatals and agencies do not go on a buying spree as is the practice every budget year in this country. Infact, with the establishment of Nissan, Volswagen and Innoson car assembly plants, Nigerian government has no business buying cars imported from overseas. They should patronise these companies 100% and encourage the populace to do same, if they don't want them to close shop and leave in a few months time. You are quick to condemn GEJ in areas you think he didn't do well yet, you refuse to give credit to GEJ for the attraction and establishment of the car assembly plants you mentioned through the AUTOMOBILE-POLICY. |

iamsoja: For some weeks now my area has been having regular power supply, this is really odd as we are used to blackouts almost throughout the year. My sister in another state also said their power supply has really improved.
As Nairaland has people from all over Nigeria, opinions of people about the state of their electricity will be appreciated. When we told people that GEJ did a lot in the power sector generating and distributing all over Nigeria, some people deceived you and said it was not true. When we said the then opposition hired hoodlums and paid them to constantly destroy gas pipelines so that there would never be gas to power the power plants provided across the nation by GEJ, some people deceived you to say it wasn't true. Now that the opposition has taken over power and withdrawn the pipeline busters', are you not enjoying the hard work of GEJ? Of course you cant tell me that Buhari has installed even one pin in his 30days in office so, don't even try giving him the credit. GEJ did a lot for the this country. Propaganda and lies from APC was preferred by some Nigerians but, we knew the truth and that was why we stood by GEJ. However, the powers that be still rigged him out. It is well ! |

Saraki and Dogara can continue postponing the day of reckoning but it shall surely come. There is no place in the world a man wins a mandate on a party's platform, based on the party's ideals and mantra and then goes against the party, running as an independent for an office that belongs to his party by its sheer majority. APC would not stand it,those of us that voted for change won't stand it. Go on exile if you cant stand it. Saraki has gained more support and you are saying he has lost support, are you sleeping? Only about 7 APC senators voted for Saraki but, now 11 senators voted for Ali Ndume, 9 senators voted for Naa'' Alah, and other senators from other zones who instead of supporting APC list went ahead to vote as instructed by saraki for senate leaders yet, you say he is loosing support? wake up man! |
