Courts in Nigeria, like the police station, are business centres.
The crime does not start at the gate, the criminal enterprise starts at the entrance of the street leading into the court premises
About the only functioning federal courts in Nigeria before were the lagos courts . Even that has gone to the dogs in the last 6 years.
Nothing but rogues and criminals in colonial robes.
To understand Nigeria, you need a long hard look from the outside.
This guys are used to business as usual. Most times, it is criminal resistance. At times, it is resistance to change.

You are know nothing about osun if you think food is the biggest of their worries. Osun is a state of farmers that produces more food than she consumes . Even civil servants run farms.
Ekiti on the other hand, is a basket case. Even ado ekiti , before she was made a capital city, was backward. If not for the proximity of Ikere to Akure, Ikere was a better candidate for capital city.
Ado ekiti, the last time I visited, must have had the largest number of beer parlour/ ogogoro joint per capita in the SW. Every second property was a beer parlour

Banks and companies closing down.
No electricity
No salaries
Telecommunications companies sending out text message about the disruption of services.
A totally messed up and absolutely corrupt civil service

This is Jonathan's report card.
He destroyed Nigeria's fiscal position, mortgaged the future of at least 4 generation and has made it virtually impossible to do anything until the country's situation is put back in order.

It is from this point that Buhari is starting.

How can you build a national electricity system linked to a central grid when that system has to traverse some of the most lawless places on earth.
Militants blowing up pipelines and thieves stealing cables.
The day the electricity corporation of Western Nigeria was nationalised was the day we started getting power cuts in yorubaland( ask your poppies).
The answer is the same for virtually everything in that country. Our own autonomous region. The federal government can manage the clueless states.

Can anyone tell me why lagos is not suffering while the federal government and almost all the states in the red?
Remember 2 year ago when the clueless were running around making noises about lagos debts, debts,debts.
People who are absolutely clueless about how societies work and absolutely clueless about sustainable debt management.
Heck, the state is paying almost all the bills right now.

Now to this writer.
I sometimes wonder how you can break people out of their sea of ignorance when people who are supposed to educate or inform are themselves, absolutely clueless.

Where are the Nigerian equivalent of Norm Chomsky, Neil degras Tyson, Glenn Glenwald?

For me ,that recruitment scam broke the back of the camel .I defended him on the issue of currency devaluation by deliberately ignoring N1.3 trillion printed and handed over to jonathan for elections ,i cannot defend him on this .
He seems to be an over-ambitious person who thrives in a chaotic environment .
How can you be so reckless as to hand employment to the children of political jobbers , in a sensitive organisation like the CBN .

Farmers living their farms to become okadamen in the city.
It also gives excuses to the lazy and unhealthy who do not exercise ,but blame the evil mother-in-law when they fall sick . Walking journeys become bike rides.

2 introduce a congestion charge system to reduce go-slow and generate revenues

3 Close down 1 lanes on roads like ikorodu road , badagry expressway for cycle lanes and bicycles . This will also reduce fuel consumption and reduce fuel imports

Most of those who bought those power companies have no clue . They do not have investible capital ,no technical know-how and no history in the power industry . If they were viable , the commissioning of power plants and other installations will be in the news everyday .
Remember when GSM licenses were granted ?
GSM were building something everyday of the week.
It is simply the usual sharing of government property. create dummy firm to extract rents from the government and the people .

The worst implication of this religious coalition is not the fact that it is religious .
The implications of this move is the ability of the ethnic federal government to use this to classify an ethnic group as terrorist , thereby using it for ulterior motives .For instance, if say the Agatus , Oodua or egbirra start a move towards independence and self governance , labelling such groups as terrorists is convenient , thereby leading to the suppression of people by a religious army .

Nothing to be proud about as the place is a dump .
I think they need to visit the other cities to understand how , despite being in a single metropolis , those other cities feels and look like multiple villages rather than one single metro area . .
To put simply , most parts of the derided peckham in london or bushwick in NY , (apart from the high street ) are as quiet as the quietest part of ikoyi but with better infrastructure .

Why do you need a tour ?
Common sense: The federal government since 1966, has spread bad governance to the western region ( I could care less about others).
Nothing the FG runs works . Take back all our western region powers , problem solved .
You know why they will avoid doing this ?
Because the western region pays over 70% of the power bills and is about the only viable power industry assuring a potential of over 90% bills recovery .
They can share the oil . We will sustain ourselves with our best resource ; the people .
