PoliticsRe: What We Need Is State Autonomy And Not Regionalism by oduastates: 9:33am On Apr 26, 2016
So you think the logical way yorubas organise themselves is by way of state abi?
What exactly is state autonomy?

Ondo state abi.
Ondo state where Akoko will be shouting marginalisation while Ikale is governor
Osun state where Ijesha will be doing the same while ife man is on the post.

State is a Nigerian creation.
Yorubaland used a tested and trusted system for thousands of years.
Kingdoms( provincial government).
Kingdoms organised under a central regional government or empires brought out the best in yorubas
Only ekiti will pass that test.

Orile Ede( The land /territory of common language).
Language is the primary organising factor.

Lagos Benefits from one Nigeria. If Nigeria breaks up surely all seaports in SS and Onitsha will start working.
Where did you think Tinubu got all the money to conquer southwest and support Buhari financially. grin grin grin

Has Buhari investigated the source of his presidential funding? Hehehehehehehe
Lagos benefits nothing. Lagos pays for herself and more. Tourism resulting from sanity will easily make all our coastal region wealthier.
PoliticsRe: Yoruba And One Nigeria;why? by oduastates: 9:09am On Apr 26, 2016
At the very first opportunity, all towns and cities in Oduduwa Kingdom would happily jump out of the contraption also known as Nigeria.
Until that time comes, we shall carefully navigate our way through the treacherous waters by making the most out of a bad situation.
Unlike others, we have placed our cards on the deck. They are open for all to see.
The shortsightedness and the greed of SS/SE /NC leadership ensured that Jonathan conference was all about stopping the SW rather than finding a solution.

They were talking about derivation
Grazing right
And how to get indigenous rights in other lands.
PoliticsRe: Enugu Vs Fulani:hausa/fulani Have All Fled Uzo Uwani As Youths Explodes by oduastates:
fiizznation:
People have to be careful. If you think you are dealing with the average Nigeria fulani/fulfude group then you people should better wake up. I'm a Fulani man and I know what I'm talking about. These herdsmen carrying out all these atrocities are dangerous herdsmen from other Africa countries e.g chad, Niger, Sierra Leone, Gambia, guinea, Senegal, Mali etc. Normally they rarely attack any community until they are attacked first and they don't understand anything called fair play. They have a very wide network that cuts across the entire African continent.

My problem with the hypocritical Nigeria media houses is they hardly report any killings of these herdsmen by the local community, but the herdsmen reprisal attacks are always reported. To me this is insensitivity. We all know how innocent Nigeria herdsmen are killed everyday by the locals, but nobody wants to talk about that. The agatu people killed many innocent Fulani herdsmen before the herdsmen reprisal attacks, but how many media houses reported that? All we were hearing was Fulani ransacked agatu community.

People should be careful, if you think these herdsmen don't get to hear news about how their fellow brothers are killed and their cattle rustle, then we are not serious about solving this crisis
The farmers are on their land and territory. Don't you think that the host have the right to eject Anybody who fails to conform and who brings criminality and lawlessness to their lands.
PoliticsRe: Fulani Herdsmen Kill 40 In Enugu by oduastates:
these herdsmen are terrorists.
No questions about that.
To even imagine that the grazing route /land and indigenous rights for non-indigens thingie were in that diabolical Jonathan conference that the useless Afenifere were using to campaign for Jonathan.
Something has to or will break soon.
There is absolutely no excuse for what is happening. These fulani terrorists herdsmen are causing trouble all over the West African sub region. From Ghana to the central African Republic.
You then have to look at the statement from Ohanaze to understand the rudderless leadership in the SE. That statement has more to do with Nigeria's "chop I chop" politics than the nationalism/ territorial integrity of the south East.
You begins to understand the SE /NW gang up against the SW on issues regional autonomy, regimental military, true federalism, total resource control, state police etc in successive national conference by SE elected officials.
And they keep electing them.

You can watch this interview from someone in plateau.
This is ground zero and basically, the guy said that the only solution is for the herdsmen to leave.

it is Crystal clear that APC and buhari have nothing positive to offer to Nigerians apart from blaming GEJ and PDP for their inability to perform.
Buhari has done more in 11 month than the buffoon ever did in 6 years.
Jonathan broke the country at her very core.
No fiscal discipline
He broke the budget
No investment in the oil industry in his 5 years
No savings

1 Dangote's wealth has nothing to do with him.
2 Dangote's wealth is a symptoms of a bad disease
3 Jonathan mass produced rent seekers,Thugs and thieves masquerading as businessmen
4 Nigeria is not the largest economy in Africa, was never the largest economy and will never be the largest economy at this rate.
( I can point to many facts. One fact is, south Africa alone has 25 steel plants and controls a substantial share of all sub-saharan African countries including Nigeria ).
Now enjoy this ride through cape town. Those who are used to western European countries and American cannot but notice the sheer no of business hidden behind the buildings in the video.

PoliticsRe: Pdp’s ‘16 Years Of Rot’ By Shaka Momodu by oduastates: 4:51pm On Apr 22, 2016
Obasanjo achieved all that in spite of PDP rather than because of it.
All that through sheer determination.
Who can forget that famous quote from Okadigbo.

" We are not here to spread poverty " aka "share the money"

That quote is the real PDP.

All the battle Obasanjo fought was about preventing the goons in his party from laying their hands on the country's wealth.
By tearing his membership card, he disowned the clowns in the party.
Shaka Momodu should rewrite his crap and list Jonathan's achievement.

PoliticsRe: Afenifere Rejects Grazing Commission Bill by oduastates: 2:23pm On Apr 15, 2016
No to grazing route.
If the north is too small for grazing, perhaps the population of cows is too big for the ecosystem. They should consider reducing the no of cows.
If not, they should greenhouse their feed and ranch.
Poultry and piggery owners down south ranch their stock.Back in the days, it used to be free range.
Considering the activities and terrorism of these herdsmen, no to ranching.

Nigeria revealed in this video below.
Some idiott do not want to use the bridge because, " they will be late" ( how about leaving your home in good time)
On the other hand is an evidence based argument by a resident who see people die everyday of the week.
Unfortunately, idiottts rule the roost in Nigeria.
In the developed world, health and safety is second to none. Your comfort, whims, time will always be sacrificed for safety.
Major highways are closed for hours to attend and investigate Road accidents. Your punctuality be dammed.

Ibaka sea port.
You can ask Jonathan and friends to fund that.
$3 billion only. Just a tiny amount out of the over $150 billion they looted.
Lagos - calabar is inconsequential to us and will lead to a destruction of our coastal fiona and fauna.
We would rather have lagos -shagamu- ibadan - ife -akure - Benin to terminate at Warri.

Are these really the school fees of these Universities? shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked shocked

No wonder Nigerian Universities are shiit! shocked shocked shocked

A miserly 45,000 Naira for a University Education? I know Daycares that charge more than 10 times that amount.

I'm sorry but this shiit has got to stop. The Government cant keep playing this type of useless politics with our lives. Quality Education can not be achieved with this type of poor income into the Universities coupled with the poor funding from the Government. Hstory has shown us that everything the Government of Nigeria has touched always fails. Its time the Nigerian Universities become autonomous.

Universities should be allowed to fund themselves and set their fee rate.

All the Nigerian Government should do is set up a merit based scholarship system for qualified students.

No wonder many of them come out of the university as advanced illiterates.

Crucify me, but i remember a saying; If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.
Nigeria is messed up. The mobile phone many of these student carry cost 100, 000 or more.
Another reason why Nigeria will never work.
PoliticsRe: Buhari's Excuses: Why Am Not Buying It- Obose Akhideno by oduastates:
Absolute nonsense..

obj regime.......

Oil production - 2 million barrels a day
Population - 120 million
Average Price / barrel - over $35

A decade later.....
Same thing except
Population is larger, greedier and less educated.
Needs are greater.
The politicians, more corrupt.
The country, more dysfunctional.
More rent seeking "businessmen".
A bloated and more incompetent civil service.

Nigeria is a broken country. A country whose revenues are less than they were a decade ago.Adjusted for inflation, even lesser.
The country is overdue for bankruptcy.
Will clowns allow it or get out to protest for renewal?

What can be done
1 the National assembly has to be cut down to size.
2 Government parastatals workers(NUPENG) earning more than their equivalent abroad have to be cut down
3 The universities must be made self funding and Government scholarship given for science and technology courses only. Federal government colleges should be handed over to states.
4 shutdown unviable airports or handover airports to states. privatised viable airports
5 To reduce imported fuel consumption, cities like lagos should promote cycling.
6 Rail track within city limits should be handed over to states for mass transit.
7 No of government agencies drastically reduced.
......... I can go on
