oodualover:Yes bro. His initial plan was to cede parts of the Yoruba section to them but the Kogi West yorubas quickly resisted/rejected the plan. Shortly thereafter the Igalas also rejected the idea. Therefore he was left with no other choice than to give them land from among his own people. He can even cede the entire ebiraland sef if he likes. Very useless guy. |
oodualover:It's not bro. Most of it as presently constituted is Ebiraland, while a smaller chunk is Igala. The name/word does suggest Yoruba influence (bear in mind that kogi languages have shared words and meanings), which isn't unusual in that area due to the inter-cultural exchanges that have occurred between the major ethnicities that makeup that state (Yoruba, Ebira/Igbirra, & Igala) over time. |
EternalTruths:Ode. You people are so shameless and full of shyt. You are here masturbating over Kogi Ebiraland, while Ebonyi governor don already do similarly by donating chunks of igboland to your Fulani herdsmen masters as grazing reserves. Smh.https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-east/258144-ebonyi-governor-authorises-local-chiefs-create-cattle-grazing-areas.html |
surgical:Yinmu. Better go and preach that to your Enugu state (the supposed 'best' state in the SE region) which has not had another party at its helm asides PDP since '99, yet it is Lagos that you people are obsessing over ( at least Lagos has gone from AD, to ACN to now APC, even if it's still the same political family). You better port back to your SE if you no like the way Lagos is doing its thing. You people no dey shame. Smh. |
aolawale025:Well, I wish you the best of luck with that party of 'saints' and 'fresh faces' of yours.
|
aolawale025:Lol. OK. E go do you like film trick. Better not get your hopes up buddy. The core coalition that birthed the APC (ACN & CPC) had been in the works since circa 2010/2011 -- meeting, talking and strategizing. We know the principal actors behind both parties, their political currencies and pedigree . And in spite of all that the coalition couldn't initially agree on a lot of issues, till 2013 -- 2 years before the 2015 elections. And up till now the conflicting interests within the APC are yet to stabilize. You think say na moin-moin? |
In as much as Buhari has turned out to be a colossal disappointment as president, I am afraid that OBJ's call for a 'third force' may end up brightening his chances of reelection and here's why I think so. It's almost too late to put together a formidable enough third-force that can unseat the current administration. That's just the truth. Putting together a strong enough party platform to attain such a feat requires a lot of organization, horse-trading, high-wired politicking, and clear/competent political actors who are willing to commit and stake their political future toward such an entreprise. Besides, I suspect that Obj is just playing to the gallery as usual, and that his real aim may be to dilute Atiku's potential votes in the upcoming elections in the likely event that he secures the PDP ticket. Baba is reputed to be a very vindictive and unforgiving fellow who has shown little sign of forgiving Atiku for whatever offence he may have committed against him. A 'third-force' would most likely hurt PDP more than APC as such a party would cut and eat into the main opposition party's votes. And lastly, Buhari's men are in on the plan now, and will use every means at their disposal (including federal might) to ensure that the proposed 'third-force' project does not see the light of day. |
hinohsend:Savage~

Macelliot:See your life?? If (as you are now denying) it's not because of the way Yorubas voted in the last elections nor about Atiku 2019, then what the funk was all that crap/rant you put up there on the first page all about you hypocrite?? Or did a Yoruba man fvck your wife? You are just a typical Yoruba-hating igbo bigot. You ain't fooling no one you shameless thing. |
Macelliot:Shut the fvck up Jo, you bloody hypocrite. Why then were you screaming Yoruba all over the place like an e-goat?? Is it because some of us refused to vote for GEJ 's reelection?? Is it by force?? Your enugu governor couldn't do Jack (and even called for fasting and prayers) after his kinsmen were massacred by herdsmen under his watch, yet you are here calling Yoruba like a foool. Weren't herdsmen killing your people under GEJ tenure? You igbos are so full of shyt it ain't even funny. Even ijaws have since moved on since GEJ defeat while you punks keep sulking like lil' bitches and blaming Yorubas for all your misfortunes in life -- one minute you people will say Yoruba vote was inconsequential in electing Buhari, the next minute you want to blame us for his election. Leave Yorubas alone and face your own issues, bloody hypocrite. |
Macelliot:So you wrote all this crap in an attempt to blackmail yorubas into voting another Fulani in the person of Atiku come 2019? Why are you igbos like this? Our destinies aren't tied together so stfu and stay on your lane. We will never succumb to your blackmail you dunce. Get over GEJ's loss already you fvcking prick. |
I don't know why we are still deceiving ourselves in this country when the solution is staring us all right in the face: SPLIT THE DAMN THING make everybody go bear their papa name! This herdsmen atrocities and reprisal attacks didn't just start today but has been ongoing for decades -- dem even carry am enter Ghana. With the likes of Sanusi, Sultan, Buhari, and hell-Rufai as herdsmen patrons, it is now obvious why they continue getting away with their criminal acts. |
Ihatepork:Exactly bro! The worst part is that they keep going from one community to another massacring people WITH IMPUNITY! Again I ask, ARE THEY SPIRITS? There's no way in hell they can consistently get away with their atrocities for this long without working in collusion with the security operatives. Have you seen the kind of cuts those sadist inflict on their victims?? Those animals are sick, mehn. |
7lives:I don't think this is about carrying anybody's matter 'for head', but rather about HUMANITY and having a conscience. Fine, the middlebeltans can solve their own problems themselves but we can't pretend as though we aren't seeing what is clearly happening here. This Fulani herdsmen incidences have increased in occurence and frequency all across the country since Buhari assumed power. We hear about the army and dss going after Don Wanny in Rivers but up till today none of these herdsmen have been brought to book as they continue to perpetrate their reign of terror with impunity -- are they spirits for goodness sake that they can't be tracked down like Don Wanny and made to answer for their crimes?? Yet Buhari is acting indifferent about the whole thing. He once went down to Oyo on behalf of Miyetti Allah in an attempt to intimidate the then (now late) governor Lam over a clash between local farmers and herdsmen that led to several herdmen deaths. He failed in that attempt coz Lam proved he was up to the task by refusing to be cowed. Apparently his attitude and posture so far indicates that he's still a herdsman at heart. We are talking about the president of the entire country here (not president of herdsmen). Only an inhumane person without a conscience would defend Buhari's actions in this regard. That's just the truth and nothing but. |
LadySarah:Drink this Dettol and you will be alright.
|
EarthXmetahuman:Me I won't even bother voting. But I will never support another herdsmen patron as a Buhari replacement. Same same naa ni. |
Ihatepork:Even if Tinubu publicly condemns the herdsmen, they will also ask why Awo's remains are yet to offer a condemnation. Tinubu once did a press release urging and advising the FG to change it's approach towards iPob, but that didn't stop those touts from cursing and calling him names. Yorubas will continue to refuse to be blackmailed by a bunch of faceless iThugs and touts into endorsing Atiku for their own selfish political gains. They can go to hell for all I care. |
Ihatepork:Don't mind those ones. Their idea is to try to blackmail or guilt-trip Yorubas into voting Atiku as Buhari's replacement in 2019. I'll rather not even vote at all than vote another compromised Miyetti Allah patron. |
MeanChris:Fvck off my mention you bloody irritant. Like I give a flip about your opinion.
|
Guy, with all due respect, don't get things twisted. Unless you want to engage in 'abosi', you have to acknowledge that a cross-section of Yorubas have been very vocal in their condemnation of Buhari's silence and indifferent attitude toward the herdsmen atrocities; I personally have been consistent in my condemnation of his leadership style since he assumed office on this very forum. That some Yorubas still choose to express support for him shouldn't excuse that fact -- after all, he also has supporters from other regions as well even up till now. Now, as far as his reelection is concerned, Yorubas alone can't stop his ambition. While our region may be considered critical 'swing voters' due to the unpredictability of our voting pattern, one cannot overlook other variables that will also come into play. In any case, it looks like we will be limited to choosing between two patrons of the same terrorist Fulani herdsmen anyway (Buhari and Atiku). Only far-reaching restructuring that grant the regions/geopoliitical zones the autonomy to run their own affairs, or outright disintegration of this psuedo-nation can bring a lasting solution to the myriad of problems afflicting this country. |
anibirelawal:I don't get your point. Are you saying they have a right to destroy people's farmlands and butcher them coz they are 'nomadic'? What sort of rubbish and nonsense talk is that?? |
