freedomchild:Unless this was an attempt at sarcasm ooo, I don't get the reasoning here. Are there no shops in Kano, Kaduna , Sokoto ,etc. |
How come these fire incidences are only happening in the Southern part of the country despite the fact that the Northern part is drier? |
All the jobs in the world are wife-friendly if you, the husband, are friendly and understanding. |

Lemme try and explain in relations to what might matter most to an average Nigerian: Studying Pharmacology, and eventually being a Pharmacologist, will lead to the path of being an academic scientist and researcher of drugs and their effects on humans. You majorly work in the lab. Pharmacologist doesn't usu work in a hospital. You also get to spend just 4 years. In the end, you are a scientist and not a professional. While studying Pharmacy to become a Pharmacist will make you a Clinician, more like a doctor of drugs, whose job is majorly to work glove in glove with doctors to prescribe drugs in a hospital. In the process of becoming a Pharmacist, you study Pharmacology of drugs as well. You spend 5-6 years. In the end, you become a Professional. So it is more extensive than Pharmacology. |
silentEXPLOSION:See a man who has never thrown a punch in his life. Boxing is no street brawl. The profossional boxer, who lost, said it himself that he was beaten, but bro Mutiu from Iyanapaja knows better. |
I only need one reason - If my girlfriend tells me she takes Joro seriously... I am breaking up with her moronic ass. |
No cohesion or comprehensible line of thought. All I could read was the rantings of lady who was foolish enough to allow the external influence of her friends into her marriage. |
tjpetite:Amen bruh. |
Cutiestalex:June 12. It was crazy, But thank God. I pray yours too will end in praise. |
Cutiestalex:June 12. It took 3 months before l got the response. I think since summer rush is now over, visa applications are processed faster now. Cheers bro. |
tjpetite:Yes bruh. Got a response yesterday. It was positive. I pray yours would come too. |
Hi house My visa application has not been decided on since l did my biometrics on June 12. The date of entry l put on my application is 21st of August. Can a visa, which has been delayed, still be issued even after the date on your application for entry into UK has passed? |

No response yet bruh, if you are wondering. |
MollyBank:Unfortunately, nothing at the moment. I still had to call them this morning only for them to tell me they have raised another escalation, after the initial escalation, amd guess what, it is going to take another freaking 15 working days. Jokes on them. It is not thier fault. Na Nigeria cause am. Anyways l am still hopeful. They also sent me the "Not straightforward mail last week". But two friends got thier within 7-8 days of that kinda mail. Hence why l am hopefully lookong forward to this week. |
So what should we do about it. If it concerns the mass, then l am up for it. But as long as it is a power play amongst those in the corridors of power, any ordinary citizen that feels it directly affects her/him is only fooling her/himself. At the end of the day, it is all about thier own selfish means. Lets ask Saraki how he got to that position in the first place. Was it not by some evil machination? It is when they feel threatened that they invoke "Our democrazy" Our people" Our rights". No you fools!!! You have always been fighting for your pockets and quickest access to power and Nigerian resources. Pls fellow Nigerians do not be fooled. |

Why are you making 30yr olders feel older. Abeg this papa is not 32 yrs as quoted. He must be about 45 or so. |
Profeme:What can you do when someone has been mentally, physically, emotional and spiritual shackled by the bondage of religion? No man can be free if his mind is in bondage. |
omoelerin1:My natural instinct was to give you a reply that would suit your sizeable reasoning capacity, but then on a second thought, l realised that you belong to group of people who have been robbed off thier dignity and intellectual capacity. You need a hug. |
And l com like this woman oooo. Why did she have to delve into such a controversial topic without the obvious reasoning that we live in the 21st century, where there is what we call Globalization. Imagine a child born in the US to a Nigerian parents, who now came home for xmas, would you tell her to go burn all her clothes just so she cud remain "Righteous" in the eyes of Nigerians, then the moment she leaves, she can go and stock them trousers again. What manner of hypocrisy is that. This is what religion has turned into. They want to control every aspect of your lives by instilling unfounded fear into you. This is 21st century conditioning and manipulation |
They gassed him the first time and he survived it. They gassed him a second time, though he is asthmatic, he didnt go into respiratory distress. His systems didnt start shutting down, infact he even had the power and energy to jump out of a moving vehicle and sat down in the middle of the road, screaming expletives at the police with full strength. I don hear. Dino must be a superhuman. Infact right now l think he is Thanos. Yeye dey smell. |
martineverest:Which Ibadan are you talking about? E be like say you no sabi say na Oyo people dey bleach pass for this country, esp that Ibadan wey u mention. To even know how rampant it is woth Oyo people, the Oba of Oyo dey bleach well. Dr former Gov, Alao Akala dey bleach too. |
Dear Nairaland Moderators: Must everything Tonto Dike make front page? You keep making this front page lose face value everyday. And the fact that you don't listen to complaints and advice of visitors and nairalanders gives the impression of "We simply DGAF about feedback". No wonder Nairaland has never left the same spot since foreva. Yeye people. Yeye Seun. |
From the attributes you have described so far, it is a very long shot away from clinical Hyperactivity syndrome. It is nearer however to him just acting his age. However, all these are just surface observations based on your report. Your best bet to putting a tag on what his state is, will be to have him evaluated by a pediatrician, who is a specialist in childhood neurology. A positive takeaway here is that your boy is intelligent. With all you have described about him so far, l can see a boy who was like me when l was his age. Boy, l was stubborn. Lols. Would love to meet him someday. Cheers bro. |
Where dem customise am? Where is the proof? Looks like this man does not know the meaning of "Customised". Yeye sombody

Lordcenturion2:You should listen to Johnny Drille. He is that unsung star of meaningful, melodious songs. |
He just wanted us to know he was the MC at Dangote daughter's wedding. Himself dey show off. Mtcheew. All of una na yeye somebody. |
simonlee:Chief, l dont know why l think l might know the person behind this account. Anyways, pls leave ignorant Nigerians alone. No matter what you tell them, they wont learn. The Bible has concluded thier matter, when It said, "My people die because of lack of Knowledge". I have preached it a million times, sometimes l get tired preaching it, your health is your responsiblity. When the President son needed maximum health care, whr did he take his son to? Was dr no National Hospital in Abj, with Neurosurgeons? Nigerians elites know better. However, because some people went to secondary school and can join words together, they think they are wise or wiser than the person directing them to whom they should hold responsible for the problems in health care delivery in Nigeria. Pls bros, leave dm to their mumu. I hope say you sha don dey plan movement? All the best bruh! |
I will rather not reply a single posts amongst the numerous apparent delusional posts of so many Nigerians. Delusional in the sense that this same set of people, who are ready to throw all health workers under the bus, has never for once voted in a government whose primary concern is health. Yet in their deluded, hallucinatory state, they want doctors to perform miracles once they have a sick one. It is high time Nigerians got this into thier thick skull, that their health is a primary concern of theirs, and not any doctor's or health worker. Doctors and other health workers roles are only secondary. Before you go on looking as confused as an irrational creatures God has made Nigerians to be, you should know that just like any other professionals, health workers need tools to work. I am not in any way absolving UCH of any blame, but it is ominously disgusting that no commenter on this issue has sat back to really ask him or herself what role he/she has played to ensuring better health for himself and his immediate family. Do you know that in UK, US and other developed countries, where sane people reside, health, its financing, adequacies and inadequacies are the sole responsibility of every citizen, and not just health workers. But, of course, we dont live in a sane climate where people know that it is largely their responsibility to hold the government responsible for any shortcomings or failures of the health system. The people of these saner climes ensure that the government provide all necessary tools needed for a maximum health care. Once these are in place, then you can begin to question the quality of the person(s) who is going to handle the tools. Here in my country, we dont have the tools. Citizens dont bother about asking or even fighting for the tools to help provide maximum health care for them, yet they will delusionally expect health workers to preform miracles whenever they are in need of health services. You had better start fighting for you lives, by taking the first step in ensuring you start asking the government for better health. |
