Babangidapikin: Someone lost an engine after taking off, the airplane fully loaded with aviation fuel and one big head expect the passenger to be calm and keep quiet and not call on his God because the pilot has skills. You know from what perspective the comment was coming from. When one who acts like immortal suddenly started acting like a mortal, or even weak mortal... Then don't blame people for mocking him |

God rest their soul and strength the survivor You think issues on taking off and landing is the same with cruising attitude? First 1 minutes in taking off and landing is the most deadly and crucial seconds in aviation. |

Air crash is becoming common in this 21st century. What has gone wrong in the sector? The crash last year and this year is alarming... Technology was supposed to make airplanes safer, it seems it's just getting worse. There's close to 20 plane crash this years alone, that's not funny. |

naptu2: Obidients have launched vicious attacks against Tunde Onakoya in the past 24 hours because he visited President Tinubu.
1) Some accused him of being a fraud. They say that he does not really care about the kids, because if he cared about the kids he would hate Tinubu who caused their situation.
2) They say that he is only doing the NGO thing for fame and money.
And they have hurled all kinds of insults at him. How do y'all arrived at the conclusion that all trolls online are "Obidients"? This ridiculous tactics of sowing the seeds of hate in people's hearts against Obi, it's mainly for weak minded individuals. Health › Re: She Asked For Pentazocine For Her Sickle Cell Friend And What I Discovered by Offpoint1: 8:04pm On Jun 10, 2025 |
maureensylvia: My kid sister had a crisis last month. It drained me so badly. I blamed my parents for the mistake, they had the opportunity to stop, but they kept giving birth.
I took my sister to several hospitals. They were only giving her painkillers, but the pain was severe. She was given so many drips, yet nothing changed.
Even some pharmacists recommended Penta, but they were afraid to administer it. I later found out it’s prohibited. Nyaa ahia iwu.
I managed to get the Penta myself, and she took three shots. Ndi banyi, still, nothing happened. The pain continued.
The only thing the Penta did was give her a moment of relief and help her sleep. After that, the pain came back.
I reached out to the pharmacy where I bought the Penta, and they told me her body might be too strong for it. They then gave her Cocodamol.
She took the Cocodamol, and just like that, everything stopped. Now she’s back on her regular folic acid and hydroxyurea (not sure of the spelling).
That crisis period was a nightmare, I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
Thankfully, I escaped it, because honestly, I don’t know if I would have survived it if it were me. How old is your kid sister? |

SeeWahala: He talks well abi? Hehehe 🤣😂
It's surprising to see that you and immortalcrown don't believe they could ever get involved in an accident in their life where by a random good Samaritan could rush them to a hospital to save their life
I hope if/when such a day comes (either to you or yours) and you're being refused life resuscitating treatment you will both remember this post you made here where you claim to understand why such treatments should be withheld
In this life, we reap what we sow and yes I myself have been involved in a terrible accident where I was rushed to the hospital unconscious and fortunately received life saving treatment I couldn't believe those 2 clowns... Life mean nothing to them |
Health › Re: Nurse Refuses To Treat Accident Victim At Federal Medical Centre, Abuja by Offpoint1: 8:12pm On Jun 09, 2025 |
immortalcrown: Is the good Samaritan willing to give the hospital his identity in case no one else shows up for the accident victim?
Nigerian database is too poor to support hospitals treating accident victims in certain situations. Many of you might claim that I am heartless. But isn't the nurse also a human? What if the victim fails to pay after treatment and the hospital mandates the nurse to pay the bill?
What if police later gets involved and detains the girl when no one else shows up for the victim? In Nigeria, some legal actions have been criminalised and poor people are the victims. For a nurse to boldly refuse to treat the victim, even when she knows she is being recorded, she must have had many bitter experiences in such cases. Don't try to justify nonsěnsê, if you were the victim you wouldn't be typing this. That was an emergency and every second is critical. Their oath of profession is to save life... Save that life and reason consequence later. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Paul Adefarasin Speaks On Gun Saga (Video) by Offpoint1: 9:50am On Jun 09, 2025 |
cyberbro: Context matters of course. You were not there and you don't know what happened before the pastor parked to warn him.
Is it possible that the guy was just standing on the road side and the pastor just decided to park and warn him? Some of you don't want to reason logically, just because the man involved is a pastor. You watched the video? Was the camera chasing him or was stationary? Was the guy in his house videoing him or on the road? Make we dey talk true to ourselves abeg. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Paul Adefarasin Speaks On Gun Saga (Video) by Offpoint1: 9:40am On Jun 09, 2025 |
cyberbro: No it doesn't, you just lack understanding. Ultimate protection comes from God, but you have a responsibility to also protect yourself, based on common sense. Tell me, if they say God will provide for you, does that mean you shouldn't work? God gave you a brain for a reason.
If a pastor assures you of God protection, does that mean if you leave your house door open, thieves won't come in? No pastor will tell you that definitely, so using your common sense is your responsibility. Contest and scenario matters a lot... At no point was the blogger a threat that requires ordinary person to pull a stunt torch, talk more of a pastor. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Paul Adefarasin Speaks On Gun Saga (Video) by Offpoint1: 9:44pm On Jun 08, 2025 |
cyberbro: See how they're carrying the news as if the man carried AK47 and shot someone... Naija no open eye at all, but we think we're exposed.
Pastor Adefarasin was seen with what looked like a mini stun gun or pepper spray gun and warned the boy recording (God knows what that boy did that led to the pastor warning him), bloggers started spreading misinformation, just for click bait and sensationalism. Who says pastors can't have pepper sprays or stun guns? This is something anyone can buy online and use for self protection. 😂 A pastor needs no pepper spread or form of weapon that can cause harm. It contradicts their teachings. |
