Now add the fact that the sunlight will be deemed to about 10-15% it's radiant strength plus no rain, you have the perfect disaster for drought and famine. Crops will fail or can't be grown. With that, the global south will descend to pure anarchy as there won't be any Europe to send food aid anymore. Governments in the global south will collapse and it will be all man for itself. Anarchy will reign and within a month or two all food supplies would have been exhausted. Now here's were it gets really scary. Roving gangs will scout the land looking for fresh meat to eat. The first to go will be children and from there they will work their way up.

Within 2ys into a nuclear winter that will last probably up to 30ys, the world's global population would have been reduced drastically by 99% with most of the remaining survivors scraping by in the far northern hemisphere in places like Alaska, Siberia and the Arctic circle. These will be the preppers. Africa and most of the global south would have since have humanity gone extinct.

Don't pray for a nuclear war because you won't find it funny at all

It's easier for a meteorite to hit the earth than a nuclear war to start. No country is dumb enough to instigate/start one.
America can't start a nuclear war, Europe can't, Asia can't, Middle East would had been only folks mad enough to start for religious reasons, but they can't/don't have access.
