This is rash. If it's true that Chief Edochie (Ogada-gidi) said this, then he has decended into the arena wrongly. It's for Nigerians to choose their leader (president). Individual opinion do not carry weight here. It's too early for Chief to say a thing like this, considering the fact his son is interested. The caliber of Tinubu is beyond an individual opinion. It must take a national decision to vote out BAT. It's up to APC and, or Nigerian electorates to decide. |
Good naration |
Op thanks for these good tips. I also learnt somethings very important. |
Wish you and your troops success General Faruk Yahaya. I pray that the kidnapped will all be released safely by your troops. I also wish Nigerian security arrangements will be reformed to include civilians as key stakeholders in securing our Country. That will reduce the task on armed forces and will make information sharing between the armed forces and the civilians mutual. |
Reno knows how to get to each Nigerian when he wants to. All Nigerians home and abroad can relate to this points. |
AMGBoss:"Fool and his money soon parted..." This is one of the key lessons I learnt from the book: The Richest Man in Babilon. By George Classon. Great book |
Good to hear |
The economy is more deserving of urgent legislation to revitalize, not the use of money or the legal tender itself. Economy, not the naira denomination, is in need of attention. Obviously, our political leaders ( esp. the one's in house of Reps) are now confused. Of all matters bedeviling Nigeria, our Dear Country, they chose to legislate on reverting back to the use of coins. To produce the currency, it comes with huge expenditures that when you are told the actual cost of producing 10 billion naira; you will wish that money wast produced so as to save the cost. That in essence means they ( CBN) may have to produce #20, #50, and #100 (naira) all in coins... Coins of #10 or #5 naira are not going to be useful because our bad economy makes the lower denominations unusable. One naira was in notes in the past. The moment it was changed into coins, the value depreciated and it suddenly lost value. I still remember. This plot to mint coins may be from the folks who are clamouring for #5,000 single notes of our naira. |
AntiChristian:You are quoting the wrong Book. Not Bible, may be another book. Go look for the quote elsewhere |
China should trade carefully. If the West decides, the GDP of China could be shaken and chinco will lose the ranking here. It's good to know china holds second position though. Russia is pitiable in this economic ranking, I must say. And with the sanctions, who knows ![]() |
Mrshape:You have done very well Bros. This sensitization from you will go a long way to dissuade some listening Nigerians from the voodoo/ritual mindset making many to think it's only rituals or porverty forever. Legitimate hustle pays more than anything else as you see yourself building wealth from the scratch to great hight |
This is my Guy. Movie hero. Message well passed |
Reflect7:This is a great news. So cheering to hear this |
WibusJaga:This picture in your comment here speaks volumes. Dictatorship is really bad. Putin is living a lonely life. He might be depressed as a result. This war he ochestrated may be the result of his lonely lifestyle. No real joy for at all. |
OMENKAismad:Boss, it isn't financial expert here. The matter is of international Law jurisprudence. |
Prosper123:My Guy, the problems we have, in Nigeria, as you know, are all man made. We don't suffer much of natural disasters but human disasters. I want to boldly tell you that if you change your negative disposition against your/our country, and many like you change their attitudes towards Nigeria, we will have a perfect country immediately. Don't you know that the biggest problem of Nigeria is the folks asking for disintegration of the country? That's what you are saying here, albeit subtly... What is Boko Haram asking for? What is ipob asking for? What is bandits going to state as their demand? "Divide the country..." They would say, but that's not the solution. Ask South Sudan if you doubt my words |
War crime verdict is awaiting Putin if he continues on this his expedition. Hague will eventually issue an order of Putin's arrest. The effect will include Putin not being able to travel to certain key countries for fear of being arrested and handed over to the Hague war crime Court... |
Prosper123:So, you have a workable plan? Then make it happen. But don't work on delusional plans. Because, I can tell you for free and authoritatively too, that delusion will not help any Nigerian in the face of difficulties. I mean if you convince yourself that you must achieve something beyond your reach, you set yourself up for frustration. It may lead to outright suicide. |
Peng12345:Your observation is noteworthy Op. There are many elder statesmen who stood apposing GEJ for unknown reasons but who have kept mute in the face of worse calamities in Nigeria. It surprises sane minds when this is analysed. For instance, Elder Paul Unongo spoke vehemently against GEJ and his administration. Even though Benue was competing for the most peaceful state then. When Gen. Buhari took over, Benue came under attack and may rank as a major killing field in the country post 2015. Have you heard Paul Unongo speak against the killings? Benue is his home state, don't forget. I give you another: Pastor Chris Okotie. He kept calling GEJ names for reasons I don't know... At a point, he would speak to the media of how GEJ's deeds coincides with occultic permutations and all what not's. But post 2015, Chris seems to be deaf and, blind and dumb... Or else, how comes he reads no more occultic permutations out of all the killings and hardship in the country ![]() Governor Elrufai is one of the beneficiaries of attacks on GEJ. He and his folks used it to buy the governorship seats. Kudos should be given to few who spoke the truth to power both to GEJ and to PMB. E.g. Dino melaye, Woke Soyinka, Pastor Tunde Bakare, et'al |
Prosper123:My Guy, bigness isn't a problem here. China, India, U.S.A. etc are bigger, but are governable. Aren't they? |
Prosper123:What you said is just wish. But it's both undesirable and unachievable. Let's work with great optimism on our Dear country. Be careful what you wish. The country you dream of may be grossly worse than Nigeria. Don't forget, Nigeria's problems are solveable, not otherwise. |
Totilopussylick:The boy looks so much like a green horn |
This sound ridiculous The substantial Petroleum Minister "endorses" plan to end fuel scarcity. Who's office is supposed to end it outrightly or even prevent it from occuring in the first place? You want Nigerians to begin rejoicing that our President and Minister of petroleum is thinking of doing what is his constitutional mandate to have prevented...? And this is a wonderful news while we spend whole day queuing at petrol stations, isn't it? Let's clap for our President for the endorsement, ![]() Isn't it what you want op?? |
tollyboy5:You don't seem to understand the whole scenario. Regime change in Russia is also likely. Because the sanctions is being felt in Putin's Russia. Even if regime changes in Ukraine, that will deepen the economic sanctions, not stop it. More sanctions may be imposed if regime changes in Ukraine because of this coercion by Russia. So, in essence, the war might even end in Ukraine, but sanctions and it's austerity effects will remain in Russia and on Russians home and abroad. So, Putin is not safe among his suffering countrymen because of the difficulty he threw them into because of his pride |
Truth be told: it means Russia might be getting the heat of the numerous sanctions already. While more sanctions might be yet underway |
My Day is messed up here in NNPC mega petrol station in the Heart of Gombe state. I had queued up for fuel since 5:30 am this morning and even when I came, I met over 30 cars and busses ahead of me. Evidencing some people might have slept on the queue. At this very time, 12:43 pm, I still have more than 25 vehicles ahead of me on the queue who are yet to enter the station. You want to know what's going on? This same station has been dispensing the pms since 8am but they ignored the cars on the queue, but would open the exit gate and let cars come in from there. Fill them and send them off, let in more of the unqueued cars... Over and over again, the same process has been repeated since morning. I don't know it's like this here. I am now afraid and unsure of getting this fuel for my car from here. I walked to the station to observe what is really going on and I was shocked to see cars full inside the station: car who came not from the queue but from the exit gate. A soldier man is here who is supposed to regulate order, but he is the one collecting tokens from this vehicles coming in through the exit gate. A soldier! Looking closely still, I discovered uncountable gallons and plastic drums being filled up with petrol. In the past, I learnt people cannot use gallons and drums to buy fuel from NNPC facilities in the country, but obviously, just like other good policies in the past, they have destroyed this "no containers into NNPC" policys too. How long will injustice and corruption persist in Nigeria? If in fuel queues, corruption is frustrating Nigerians, making it more attractive to join the team of corrupt people, because to not join them is to loose out. Why won't this military guy here stand for what is right? Why is it that people on queue will not get fuel, but those outside queue will get at the detriment of the queued? Can Nigeria survive with this persistent injustice? Mod pls, push this thread. The good people in Nigeria are suffering. Only the corrupt are smiling. |
Good news, God ofcourse is good. But going nude isn't one way to show appreciation to God. God's word commanded decency and modesty in dressing. You cannot be doing nudity and be talking of God and His grace |
iKON11:Op, even though you may have a folk who indulge in sexual immorality just like you, you have to note that there are levels to all this things. You have more moral codes in your principles than your friend. I want to tell you there are more bad things you hate and you cannot imagine yourself doing but which your pal feels no remorse doing... I want to advice you to repent and be converted to Jesus Christ. You are not far into sin and the spirit of sexual immorality have not emersed you into the act as much as your friend. Even you if you did not reverse yourself this early, time will come when you shall begin loving what you're hating now and further into sin, you will hate to be told your actions are wrong. |
StaffofOrayan:Come on, some Generals and Cornels have been reported both captured and killed in Several instances in this Ukraine war, yet you say this to us?? You want us to follow you believe that all the tanks and aircrafts and armaments being used in Ukraine are in the hands of militias? Who told you the Russian federation led by autocratic leaders give room for militias?? If you know security very well, you ought to know Russia wouldn't allow a "militia" group hold the weapons being used against Ukraine because such weapons can oust Putin himself from the Kremlin. |
Onyewarri:Your observation is an important one. And I must add that it's very dangerous, the way we are going about it. Do you know genuine mechanics are scarce now? What you have all over the place are people claiming to be what they are not =quarks. I personally had experience with a Toyota mechanic who do not have knowledge of automatic transmission gears repairs but went ahead to work on it and caused me great loss. I also experience supposed experts on Peaugeot automobile who, continued to make me use 5 litres of engine oil (and it severally led to damages of oil-seal at various parts of the engine) whereas, 4 litres were the maximum the vehicle required... So many Fake Experts all over Nigeria now because people are after the money. Just the Money now, and they don't care about the service they render. If you look towards other sectors, you will see worse. E.g vulknizers who would over inflate your tires, leading to a burst in the hot sun when the tire seeks to expand on a hot coaltar when the tire had been maximally inflated. Or do you wish to consider the mechanics who would loose your tires and do some repairs on the legs of your vehicle and when it's time for coupling it back, they would leave the work for amateur feeble limbed kids to do. Leading to lax coupling that your wheels might be shaking and making sounds while you move. Bolts may not be tight and, you better check it out or see your tyre running into the bush ahead of you on a high way. I personally used to do artisans work back then. I was known to focus on customer/client satisfaction than on the money. |
sotall:You are hitting the point truly. Some Putin supporters here do not know that economic war is more effective than wars fought with physical weapons. The West may intend to fight Putin in the future, but not untill Russia is on her knees economically. By the time these sanctions sink into the Russian economy for one year, the inhabitants of that country will be practically hungry and against their tyrant president. China: if China dares the west by aligning with Putin, then, the results will include the Chinese lossing most of the progress they have made for the past two decades. Africa may get rapid development as west shift attention away from chinco. |
