Even i gonna steal me some Black American culture to make album..... grin

Black americans contributed more than just the stupid music stuff ... everytime you guys link our contribution to the music stuff, you reduce our value dumb ass. There was music before your so called stupid rock and roll and there will always be after.

scribble: yes they have a culture of violence, drugs, alcoholism, prison, maltreating women, and posting videos of same acts to World Star Hip Hop

their culture is on display for the world on worldstarhiphop(dot)com
But they also love the lord and do well in the financial cities/medicine/science/technology/management. You my friend see a glass half empty while we see it half full. I don't know world star hip hop because its not my thing but i guess you do.
CultureRe: Do African Americans Have A Culture? by ogaju007(m): 7:56am On Sep 09, 2014
Kingmalik: African Americans invented rock & roll, hiphop, jazz, techno, blues, funk,r&b, soul, & even bluegrass/country etc. And the Banjo is an African instrument. All these are African American cultures & will always be.

Even if the white man uses tv & money to steal the culture of others....it still belongs to who created it. So technically American culture is stolen Black American culture.

If white man started to practice Yoruba culture. & Nigerians abandon it...... it still is Nigerian Yoruba culture.

Go to New Orleans & Memphis & see the soul food, the rock & roll blues that influence the music of the world. Black American culture too cool too cool.
We are talking about inventions, this one is talking about rock and roll/music? This is so out of touch.
CultureRe: Do African Americans Have A Culture? by ogaju007(m): 7:53am On Sep 09, 2014
fairheven: They don't,especially those who cannot retain their indigenous Africa names and can not speak their language,I mean that is the basics of culture angry,u will never see an Indian or Chinese,Russians, eastern European nations, change their names or ascent to fit into American or western lifestyle, but Africans are too quick to do so.
Just imagine,if African slaves had retained their local names,by now they can actually be able to trace their roots..that is heritage! : cool
This is very narrow minded. My girlfriend is Chinese decent and her name is Mya she doesn't speak Cantonese yet she still has her culture. Culture goes beyond name calling and language.
CultureRe: Do African Americans Have A Culture? by ogaju007(m): 7:49am On Sep 09, 2014
I think the question should even be. (Do we as Africans have any culture left?) as we tend to have bought everything that was brought to us.
CultureRe: Do African Americans Have A Culture? by ogaju007(m): 7:48am On Sep 09, 2014
Nebeuwa: African Americans also referred to as Black American is a term used to describe citizens of the United States who have total or significant partial ancestry from any of the native populations of Sub-Saharan Africa.
I think you mis understood the guys question. I assume what he is trying to say is its either youre american or not. Afterall, we dont here people say white American (White American is a term used to describe citizens of the United States who have total or significant partial ancestry from any of the native populations of Europe).

PoliticsRe: The BAD IMAGE Of Nigeria Is Caused By The Way Nigerians Present Nigeria by ogaju007(m): 7:25am On Aug 28, 2014
oduastates: In my opinion ,that logic is twisted .
In order words ,we should all be saying kunbaya .
Next time you meet a foreigner(even better when it is abroad),press them about their Nigerian experience.if you press them enough ,they will tell you about Nigeria and Nigerians. Most of what they will tell you are things, even Nigerians themselves, are too blind to see.An expatriate wrote about his Nigerian experience last year.it was posted on nairaland .he made many observations which most Nigerians hardly notice.he mentioned the fact that unions in Nigeria are basically criminal gangs who care not about the society they were suppose to serve.A gang master is at the head of the socalled union ,he collects dues and is unanswerable to no one on how he spend union money or conducts union activities.Dues are forcefully collected whether you want to associate or not.
He mentioned the fact that NUPENG members are paid too much when compared to the work they do.most especially when international standards are used.
I travelled to a remote continental EU country where the immigration officer who stamped my passport ,was specifically sent to Nigeria to live amongst Nigerians.he engaged me in a conversation but I cannot fail to notice that despite his jovial mien, the guy was actually sizing me up.
I was the only person on the non- EU line .
I will not bother to tell you the details of his opinion but it goes along the lines of being a bunch of criminal fools.the leaders are criminals and the followers are fools.you wake up in the morning to see lawbreaking being as of it was normal.
You could tell that he actually felt a pity for the people of the country but his main point of frustration were Nigerian leaders.
The guy speaks passable youruba and Hausa but only stayed a few months in the SE /SShe was in Nigeria for 5 yrs learning our ways.
Lastly, the type of people who come to Nigeria do read books. They are also very sensitive and they see things .
They go back home and tell stuffs.
Nigeria herself is the worst advert for the country.
Starting from Abuja .
Good stuff bro, let the truth be told.... Even to me, Nigeria is almost a no go if not for the ties and hmmm the lovely ladies.... A young man has been blocking nierians to come work in nigeria as expatriates claiming they are not suited for the job thereby getting low level Indians and South Africans on the project *lol( here is an account of what they will say about Nigeria). I read this blog and was utterly left speechless. A British expat has come to work in Nigeria and this are his accounts of Nigeria.

Christianity EtcRe: "I Serve A God Who Answers Prayers" - American Doctor Cured Of Ebola by ogaju007(m): 12:06pm On Aug 24, 2014
alentyno: Nice one by the doc

As for you folks I must say this is the first time I have met your breed when it comes to classifying atheists---its called 'dumb-atheists'
Can you even hear yourself a trained doctor who knows the in and out of everything that has to do with 'illness and cure' comes out to testify Jesus' miracle on her life thus saying how he was healed from ebola cannot be scientifically proven and you're still spewing trash? Smh

Btw I wonder why that name 'Jesus' gives you atheists sleepless nights and restless days! For crying out loud since you don't believe in religion why do you spend 98% of your time reading every topic on christianity?
dont be daft..... the guy just gave thanks to what he believes in.... that doesnt mean its a miracle....

GbengaPs: I get annoyed when I think about this things too that's why I used "frustrated".
He said:"pastors like oyedepo sell biblical fables once a week and purchase $20m jets."
Biblical fables? I don't know how true that is.
Still want to hear your view though.
Hmmm my personal view oooo.... I think Oyedepo is just a business man and he got his angle. He tells people what they want to hear and makes them believe if you give him money, you will be richly blessed. I think he is a fraud and he is quite good at it. We pushed for him not to be allowed in to UK after he slapped an innocent girl (remember the witch for Christ?). Everybody to his own opinion. If giving him money works for you then fine but i must say he and the others contribute immensely to our backwardness in Africa. That is just a bit of my personal view.

kevoh: My brother I tire oo. The comments from the thread are really disappointing and shameful. I'm sure 94% did not bother reading the article before they commented.

Reading comments like ''How many battery bars on your phone equates to the level of headache you get'' or ''so we should die shouting all because we want to charge our phones? '' make me wonder how silly some Nlders(Nigerians) can be. How hard is it to read and understand a simple article of a few hundred words?
If you knew this much, why didn't you put it to use? no point trying to sound smart..... just appreciate and see opportunities.

mployer: Don't be daft ma friend cheesy
Fighting for the public should start with fighting ebola. Ebola is screwing the public and they are talking nonsense.
FYI, there are those doing the ebola fight presently and they are wining while theses lazy ones are taking their greed to the street.
Eh my friend im trying not to be daft oooo... But ask yourself, what will they fight ebola with? Do they have the resources? Has the country invested in R&grin for the doctors? Are they paid well? Should they die while fighting ebola, what pension plan is in place for their families? Will you fight ebola knowing if you die, the system in place will not give a hoot about the family you live behind? A medical practitioner from the states or uk that comes to Liberia or Nigeria to assist with the Ebola stuff has trust in his govt and system to take care of whatever he lives behind in the event of death. So my friend, don't be daft and don't just look on the surface wink. By the way, a medical colleague visited UCH Ibadan Nigeria and discovered nigeria is the only place where disposable medical gloves are actually reusable by different people.

arsetalks: The BOLDED part of your post is exactly why you should be ignored.
You can ignore all you want but guess what? the truth never goes away. How many people have flown from Nigeria to assist in Liberia? How many pastors (Miracle) have healed victims of ebola? They wont even lay hands on them grin grin. Ignore me for all you like, i am faraway from where ebola is and trust me, before it gets to where i am, my govt wher i pay tax and get the benefit of my tax would have controlled the situation. Not because they are super smart but just because they have (Common Sense)

Why havent africans developed something that cures an ailment in Africa? Hmmn let me guess (They are always waiting either for a miracle and/or someone to do it for them. and even when one of their own comes up with a cure, they reject it with stupidity. www.klenzamerica.com/whatis.html
