Politics › Re: Buhari Locks In Northwest, Southwest, Northeast, Niger, Kwara - Leadership by ogatboy(m): 8:09am On Feb 25, 2019 |
deomelo: The initial suspense and curiosity among Nigerians over the outcome of last Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections began to give way last night as President Muhammadu Buhari took the lead in four of the country’s geo-political zones.
Other winners on the Senate and House of Representatives elections also emerged. The zones won by Buhari are the Northwest, the Northeast, the Southwest and the North Central.
Results from states and local government areas in the aforementioned zones showed that Buhari, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, will certainly secure another term of four years. INEC will officially announce the results after their submission by the state resident electoral commissioners (REC) at the National Collation Centre in Abuja.
Results declared by the commission’s officials at the polling units, wards and local government areas put Buhari far ahead his main rival, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
At the time of filing this report last night, results available to LEADERSHIP, which key stakeholders confirmed showed that Buhari was fully in control of the Northwest. It was learnt that Buhari already had 20 states across the country in his kitty. Buhari also made impressive showing in the Southwest zone, where he won in most of the states in the region. Except Oyo State, where the coast was not very clear at the time of filing this report last night, Buhari took the lead in other states in the entire region Of the seven local governments released in Borno State, Buhari won in all of them. He also swept all the councils in his home state of Katsina where all the APC senatorial candidates also defeated their rivals. The situation was the same in Gombe State where the president defeated his main rival, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in seven of the nine local government results released by INEC.
https://leadership.ng/2019/02/25/pmb-locks-in-nw-sw-ne-niger-kwara-in-nc/ We know but what was the margin?? Thats where the whole mathematics come in. Buhari will lead but the margin wont be so much and the whole south south and south east vote is for Atiku. Make una no kill yourself. Our result shows Atiku is coasting to victory. There plan now is to rig but we go still win las las. |

omoiyalayi: President Muhammdu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won at a polling unit inside the Sokoto Government House, and another at the Sultan’s palace in Sokoto metropolis. Mr Buhari’s APC polled 190 at polling unit 008 at the government house, against PDP’s 124. The Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, belongs to the PDP. He contested but lost the party’s presidential ticket to Mr Abubakar. He has switched political support to Mr Abubakar. The PDP also lost Sarkin Musulmi 001 and 002, polling unit at the Sultan’s palace. At polling unit 001, where the Sultan votes, APC scored 146 against PDP’s 113.

MrAJQ: BREAKING: There'll Be War If They Rig This Election, Says Uche Secondus
“Today, by your mandate, we warn INEC and we believe there are good people in INEC… we know that government is pressuring INEC to rig this election, but if they rig this election, they’re looking for war,” he said. In pidgin, he asked the people if this was true, to which they replied in the affirmative.
Uche Secondus, National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says there will be war in the country if the 2019 presidential election is rigged.
Speaking in Asaba, capital of Delta State, on Thursday at the party’s presidential campaign rally Secondus accused the Nigerian government of putting the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) under pressure to rig the election.
“Today, by your mandate, we warn INEC and we believe there are good people in INEC… we know that government is pressuring INEC to rig this election, but if they rig this election, they’re looking for war,” he said.
In pidgin, he asked the people if this was true, to which they replied in the affirmative.
Continuing, he said: “If they need peace, they must not rig the election — because everybody is ready for this election.
“We want to also advise our security agencies — and we know there are good people there protecting lives and properties, which is their primary duty. We believe that they will obey the Constitution, not to break it like Mr. President is breaking our laws. They will obey the Constitution and be neutral, but if they don’t, if they join hands with INEC to rig this election, what are they looking for?"
“War,” the people chanted back.
Secondus then added: “Therefore, we advise all Nigerians, on that day on the 16th of February, let them come all out to vote and stand by their ballot boxes, and defend their votes — because the votes of all Nigerians must count. So that we can vote out a man who cannot interact, so that we can vote out a man that has brought disgrace to our nation.

coalcity19: The world is laughing at us. We like good economy. We want steady and constant power supply, we want jobs, we want food on our table, we desire good infrastructure and security but at the same time could not exercise patience for a willing government that is sincerely laying the foundation for all these to happen. They brainwashed you with "hunger in the land" slogan. They said 20million Nigerians lost jobs. Majority of those people who they said lost their jobs were construction company workers whose contract monies were diverted and could not continue as at the time PMB took over. With resumption of roads construction, rail construction, 2nd Niger Bridge, why are they not sincere to tell us how many Nigerians have been engaged? They tell us bankers lost jobs, who liquidated those banks? Did PMB or Osinbajo take loan from these banks? Who killed Cooperative bank? Who killed Societè Generale? Who killed Enterprise bank? Who killed Intercontinental? Who killed Skye bank? Some of them took loans ranging from 10billion and above and refused to pay back. The banks folded up and you hear them shamelessly saying Buhari made Nigerians lose their jobs. Since inception Buhari didn't sack anybody. In fact he employed more graduates and junior level officers into the civil/public service. He didn't owe salary. By 28 of every month all federal workers receive salaries. Because you are not well informed you sink their lies. They say Buhari plan to Islamize Nigeria. How possible? Even Military government cannot dare it. Nigeria is a secular State. They use our Christian leaders to brainwash us because we have no sense of history. In 1999-2001 you recall the religious riot in kaduna. I was in Kaduna then, many Christians were massacred. Obj was president then. Between 2000-2007 you recall the Fulani herders -farmers/locals crises in plateau State that led to declaration of state of emergency in plateau State. Who was president then? Obj and not PMB. Do you know that in Benue State farmer -fulani herdsmen had been at each other's throat since the military era? These kind of unhealthy political intrigues can only thrive in Nigeria where people have no sense of history or some people just want to deceive themselves. Those who plunged us into the den of hunger, job loss, darkness, decay infrastructure, insecurity and poor education are posing as messiah, they killed our university system for their own to thrive. It is only in Nigeria where a sitting president and his vice would approve for themselves, while in office, the licence to build universities. It is only in Nigeria where a president would abandon construction of National library and build multi billion naira presidential library in his hilltop mansion and the youths whose future is mortgaged will be clapping for them. Resources that are meant for all were carted away yet you are here crucifying a man that is 'righting the wrongs' haba! GOD BLESS NIGERIA. okay you would never be a good political analyst. Omooba77: Governor Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara State has threatened that there would be no elections in the State if the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) exclude the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidates from the forth coming elections.
Governor Yari made the statement on Friday during the APC campaign rally in Talata Mafara local government area in continuation of his state-wide campaign tour for the forthcoming general elections.
There is no way elections will be conducted in Zamfara State without APC candidates, despite Zamfara High Court judgment which confirmed that APC conducted primaries in the state”, Yari warned.
He said it will be a huge mistake and threat to national security for INEC to bar Zamfara APC candidates from contesting during the forthcoming general elections in the state.
All our actions are based on Zamfara High Court Order, we are therefore advising INEC to obey the order and include the names of Zamfara APC candidates list submitted to the commission”, Yari said.
Yari urged electorate to vote for President Muhammad Buhari and all APC candidates during the general elections.
INEC had maintained that Zamfara APC has no candidates because the party did not conduct primaries and submitted no list to the commission up till the 7th October deadline for submission.
The Zamfara APC had approached the state High Court to challenge INEC’s stand and the court, in its ruling, affirmed that the APC held primaries and asked INEC to accept the candidates.
