PoliticsRe: Saraki, Allies Move To Regain Relevance In Kwara by OgbeniOptional(m): 12:10pm On Sep 03, 2019
Lagos people are the more dumbest political wise. they sold their soul for Tinubu. Tinubu owns Lagos.
DIKEnaWAR:
Saraki was holding down the state, milking it dry and ruling with a tight fist by proxy, while pretending to be a democrat who is fighting our common "enemy" Buhari and his own draconian policies. Little did he know that by a sleight of foolishness or rude awakening, the people of Kwara state were waiting to treat his fvk up. Thank you Kwarans for reminding him that the state does not belong to him and his father.

1. Saraki is trying to absolve himself of blame.
Thief! You were the remote that controlled the smaller thief Abdulfatah Ahmed. Both of you conspired to loot the state dry.

2. Fatah Ahmed is claiming recession stopped him from paying salaries.
Please let's ask the 1diot how many times he went to bed hungry because of recession? Infact, was he not buying cars and other luxuries for himself, wife, girlfriends and dependants?

My advise to the man who asked what Saraki would do aside politics; Saraki is a trained medical doctor. He should use part of his loot and build a wall class hospital in ilorin(not in name but in actual fact) put all necessary things in place and proceed to treat Kwarans free or at reduced rate. He will be the doctor in charge and be seen in active duty. That would be a way to atone for his looting of the state, begging for forgiveness and easy way to gain acceptance, again.

Give it time, the new Governor will fail too, because Nigeria politicians are mad and can't be vouched for. By the time he fails, the people will run back to Saraki and his hospital(assuming he sets it up)

I hope the people of Lagos state will chop liver and do same to Tinubu, just as Imo people did to Rochas and Edo people are about to do to Oshiomhole. Nigeria belong to all of us, no let some people use am like their own.

I just went through my previous I-20 for last Spring and new one I received for fall, that’s a huge mistake from my school. My previous I-20 shows $29,000 for students funding, my new I-20 has $42,000 for student funding. You better mail your school for new one if you have the time. I just did upon seeing this post.

Please for those who recently traveled to USA on the F-1 Visa, are we allowed to travel with a one way ticket? Or would this cause a problem at the point of entry?

OP happy spending o cheesy I have been in your shoes and why I will never date a lady who is not financially independent again. 150k Small sef, I dey pay her siblings school fees cheesy I’m now the most heartless guy on planet to ladies except my family members. In fact marriage Sef Na scam, having kids for me as a wife is not even enough, let’s get 10-15 years together before I start trusting my wife with big money. It takes one wicked girl from a wicked family to make you heartless. Don’t let pressure of getting married affects you, lately I’m beginning to think going for 30+ ladies sef is better than all those 20+ ladies. Older ladies tends to appreciate you more. Werey ni most of them. Stay single my guy, it pays a lot.

Wow!!!! Congratulations, God bless your new journey. Where did you later went for your interview.

Curious101:
Hello guys ! My visa was granted , here’s my transcript.

My interview was supposed to be in August 2018 at the U.S embassy ABJ,but on the day of the interview ,I went to the embassy And to my greatest surprise the embassy told the securities to tell us they were on strike and anybody with any urgency should go to the Lagos consulate ( although I’ve traveled all the way from Lagos and there was no mail from the embassy about the apparent change).i looked at positive side of it and went home , although I couldn’t go to the Lagos Embassy because there wasn’t enough time until my school resumes , so I had to wait for fall 2019. Long story short , I scheduled my interview for Jan 17 2019 .

It was the morning of my interview and I had prayed fervently and fasted and also was very nervous as hell but I didn’t stop believing.
Time for my interview and the person Interviewing me was a black thin lady who wasn’t smiling at all .;(
* still very nervous, wasn’t confident at all *

V.O : good morning, let me have your ppt and I.20
Me: * passes it * “good morning” * with a crooked smile on my face *
V.O: So were in California are you going

Me: California State University Bakersfield

V.O To do what

Me: to obtain bachelors degree in criminal justice and law enforcement administration.

V.O; what did you do after sec sch edu .

ME: I did a diploma in political science at the university of Benin and afterwards went for a compulsory industrial training.

V.O: why didn’t you pursue a bachelors in the course you studied instead of criminal justice.

M.E; (freaks out a little , said something I don’t even remember)

V.O: * asked the question again *

Me: well i don’t know if it’s allowed to bring ones family problems to a visa interview, but here it goes ; in 2015 my mum was kidnapped and was almost killed, they were like plenty ways for the police to catch these people and save my mum but they didn’t because of the lack of literacy And technology we have at the Nigerian police force.
I’m pursuing the career in criminal justice and law enforcement administration not only to get involved with the shaping of crime policy in Nigeria but also to expose Nigeria to a technology based systems to catch criminals and bring them to Jistice .
V.O: * was nodding with a smile and was typing so fast too *
Felt a huge relief in my heart , then she brought the almighty white paper out and held my bank statement to confirm if it was original. p.s my aunty was sponsorer btw.
I couldn’t go in spring cos my visa came out late , it’s the schools fault though ?they didn’t send my 1.20 on time and now I’ll have to wait for fall ( a whole 8 months in this Naija ).
I just want to thank God and everyone that dropped their transcript here , I learnt a lot from you all and I’m so grateful. And to all the professors in the house , I’m sorry for the blunders and the improper use of my grammar and punctuations , I’m not perfect .
And I’m also open to making new friends, if you’re in California and would like to be friends when I come please HMU.

doublezero7:
This would be a long read. So I'll break it down into 2 or 3 posts.

Visa delayed on the 21st of November.

I booked my appointment on the 15th of October and although i saw earlier dates, i chose November 20th. Partly because it was the most recent with an appointment for 6:30.

Since i had been practising and perfecting my transcript since around May (with Tolatof, Ubah, 100kobo, etc), it was easier for me to get ready for the interview proper.

I got to the consulate around 5am on the D-day. Then found out that i wasn't with my visa fee payment confirmation printout. Our ogas lurking around the consulate said I'd have to pay 10k for them to help track and print a new one.i just walked away and straight to the queue. Since i couldn't have booked an appointment without a trace of my payment with the CGI officials, i proceeded to the first checkpoint. Fortunately, the visa fee confirmation wasn't a problem. Unfortunately, i was told to go fill out a new DS-160 form and print a copy. More bad news is rhat i had 20 minutes or i wouldnt be allowed back to the pavilion. Paid 3k to have that done and rushed back. By now, it was around 7:30.

Cleared the other checkpoints and then got in. Everywhere was rowdy mehn. The queues were too long. Stood to interview for over an hour.

Interview proper at 8:45am.

VO: why are you going to the US?
Me: I am going to the United States to study for my masters degree in Healthcare Management at the California State University, Los Angeles.

VO: Did you apply to other schools?
Me: Yes i did. Aside CSULA, i applied to 4 other schools (mentioned) and got admitted into all.

VO: So why did you choose CSULA
Me: I choose CSULA because they have an ongoing research specifically in the area I am most interested in which is Medical intelligence and surveillance service systems. I mailed the program director, Dr Andre Avramchuck my paper on how i thought effective MIS can be crucial in controlling epidemic outbreak in Nigeria and Africa in general. He was not just happy with the quality of my paper, he was also very much impressed with my years of experience in the Nigerian healthcare industry, my GRE scores, my certificarions in healthcare management and most importantly my love for knowledge

VO: Who is paying for this?
Me: my mom is. She is a medical doctor and owns hospitals in 4 states and also a pharmaceutical company in Lagos.

VO: Do you have her statement of account?
Me: Of course ma'am (passes it)

After glancing through and typing almost at the same time.

(Looks up)

VO: what would this degree do for you?
Me: This degree would afford me the opportunity to manage and grow subsidiaries of my family's healthcare companies upon my return to Nigeria . With courses such as Leadership in Healthcare Management, Healthcare Law, compliance and ethics and financial management in Healthcare, I would be better equip to takeover the day to day operations ofthe company

Also, with my research in Medical Intelligence and surveillance systems, I would be able to collaborate with the Nigerian govt through the Federal Ministry of Health in providing creative and innovative consultations on issues bothering on epidemicoutbreaks and how to control such situation.

She types for a minute, goes through my statement of account, looks up, types again and brought out the famous paper.

VO: you're not eligible at this time. You can apply again. However, I'd advice you go through our website to know more about the student visa procedures.

Me: (still shocked) Thank you and have a nice day.

2) I don't have an original statement of account.

Someone here said they now verify each and every bank statement at abuja and Lagos. I wouldn't have been concerned because my statements are legit but collecting bank statements slows down application.
