deybholar: Good day everyone. Does a lost BRP with 3 months validity need to be replaced? My cousin can not find her child's BRP. she has reported it as lost, they will be switching to PSW visa in 2 months time. Is BRP a requirement for visa application/extension? since they will renew in 2 months and hopefully do not plan on going anywhere out of the travel area then it’s ok. She shud have the number of the soft copy to upload when they are extending. |

Tboy243: I would like to ask for a friend about TB test; He did his TB test January at IOM to apply for his student's Visa. Results showed he had an abnormal chest x-ray as something was discovered in his lungs. He was asked to do sputum test which would take weeks for results to be out, but he refused saying he has no TB and that doing the test would cause delay in submitting his visa application and could cause him to loose the school's sponsorship. To cut the story short, he was given his certificate after serious plea but was advised to carry out further examination on his own to check what could be causing the abnormalty in the X-ray. Unfortunately his Visa was denied.
On carrying out further checks, my guy did another x-ray which came out as abnormal again but his doctor said it was nothing to worry about that all lungs can not be thesame and that he should go and carry out blood test as he said he (my friend) said he couldn't produce sputum. The blood test result came out negative.
He's now preparing to reapply for his visa as he was able to defer his admission till September. Bosses, any suggestion on how he can get his TB certificate without being asked to do sputum test since his personal checks revealed that he has no TB? Also, is the blood test result tenable or presentable? Is it acceptable in TB test centres to proove he doesn't have TB?. sputum is spit/phlegm/kelebe .. cough from down the lungs that you bring out yourself. how will he say he cannot produce sputum… make una dey play u hear. He better go and give them the sputum samples they have requested or risk another denial UKVI does not cut corners.. after all the rushing and what not, did he go anywhere? No. Did he get the visa? No. Please do things the right way. Nigerians do away with haphazard works |

Macmac222: But they fill settlement and dependant on their tuberculosis at iom does not matter that is for tb test. You do not have settled status neither do they. You are on Tier 2 and for only 2 months you have been which is a temporary visa. Your partner will fill tier 2 partner dependent form and ur children child dependent form. End of story |

Jayyjay: My company in the UK is sponsoring my visit to the UK for business, although I have some relatives and friends in the UK. I was advised on this forum not to mention that I have family in the UK and to keep the application strictly for business. My question now is when I get to the UK, I most likely won't be staying in a hotel but at my relatives' houses. With this info, how do I approach the 'Where do you plan on staying in the UK' question? Can I just state I will be staying in a hotel or private housing without no evidence of booking? U book a pay on arrival hotel via booking.com or hotel.com , Every visitor should have an address in the UK where they are coming to U can mention direct siblings or parents if u have, anything extended leave it out. Then if they ask if u will be staying with them, just say no if you want to keep the application spot on business |

@joyfuljoyful as long as your deposit is held with a scheme that is a neutral body, pls quit keep going back to them to argue anything. When the tenancy ends go back and claim your deposit back, all of it.. the battle will begin there. You will be asked for proofs and they also. No matter what u are doing… dont admit to any faults as thats what will cause the adjudicator to keep your money.. or award it in favour of them. They cnt take ur money if it was put in a deposit scheme. My iwn billed me 800 for redecoration, carpet and cleaning or so. I fought back with my pictures and videos when it was time. The deposit scheme returned all my money and awarded them zero. Quit goin back and forth with landlord or agent. When u move out, log back into ur deposit acct and claim the money back. But before u leave u must take ur pictures and enough videos for ur proofs As long as they didn’t take any pictures and videos when they wanted to hand the house over to you, adjudicator will not give them the money. They will need to prove anything if at all was caused by you. Dont beg anyone. Just avoid any back and forth with them if the money is with a deposit scheme |

Hurry and fight this. Go to the Lagos office and be ready to stand your ground and send emails to their international offices if not they’ll tell u the booking has expired and will want to refund the money. If u fight it well they are bound to reissue you a ticket at no extra cost as long as your money entered their account before the booking expired. Benedecttemi: Good morning bosses . |
