I don't really understand what it mean by keeping passport and paid for it. Can you explain further?
If I choose to keep my passport to myself till decision is made I pay for it what about keeping it with TLS do I need to also pay for it ?
I understand about assistant service which I pay for uploading document but If I choose self service where I do the uploading documents myself do I still have the option to drop or keep my passport?

usually dey take your passprt on the biometrics day. There is no charge. If you say you need your passport to be with you during the time of your visa duration, you pay for ‘keep my passport’ option. 27k
Anytime dey decide on ur application, when they receive information from UKVI they can then call u to submit ur passport then.
This is different from uploading documents electronically. Doc upload. 2 options. Self service. No fee and u do the documents attaching electronically urslf. No biggie.
Other option is assisted service, the official partner which is TLS does the document attaching electronically for u but at a cost- 12k

what kind of card are u using for the payment? Be aware that most nigerian NAIRA cards have limit of 20 dollars

My NIN name is still Orimolade folasade suzan. Are you applying in Lagos, Abuja, ph, Enugu ? Centres where the enhanced e passport has been launched? If yes, u need to go ahead and change you NIN name now. It costs 500 naira.
Go on remita. Look for pay biller. Pay to NIMC 500 naira and fill in the new names due to marriage now. It will direct u to pay thru card m. Pay and print out the proof of remita payment. Take this proof + Sworn Affidavit,Newspaper Extract and Marriage Certificate (in cases of marriage) to NIMC office and do change of name. Start now. It could take up to 3 wks to relfect. Newspaper extract and sworn affidavit must tally with the new name

keep passport is to keep passport with yourself not with TLS. This is about 27k.
Self service means uploading the documnts urslf while assisted service means TLS will do the uploadimg for u. Self service is free. Assisted service is about 12k naira.
U dnt need tb test for visit visa.

change of name due to what? Hold on. What names do u have on ur NIN and what names do you want to have on your passport? Get it right now or you will pay dearly when a mistake happens.. energy, time, stress and money

just fill it as it is.. however note that for a child to apply for intl passport, the father and/or mother has to provide data page of their own interntl passport

A friend did his and it cost him 7500 from a guy at yaba magistrate.

he was fooled. Affidavit from court is between 500 naira and 1k. Not more.

Please o my people, is there anything like production fee usually collected at the passport office.

I went for capturing today at the passport office NIS gwagwalada. First of all, on reaching there I was told an immigration officer has to signify on my form, before it can be attended to.
Secondly, I was ask to pay a compulsory sum of 3,000 (three thousand naira) for production fee, plus an extra cost for assistance.
Please, can someone tell me if that is how things are usually done at the passport center or I have just been estorted?

Hello house, is it true that when one's NIN number does not reflect on NIC portal during capturing and it gets to exceed that day before sorting out, that it might result into one, having to rebook an appointment again?
Plus the agent guy am working with, was saying that for failing to submit the file that same day, might result into waiting for two weeks before passport release.

The change of name comes first. And you need a legal practitioner for that. If you are in lagos, I can recommend someone for you.

no be only legal practitioner. u ppl ehn. Change of name is simply swearing affidavit with new name at high court 500 naira and then doing newspaper advert for change of name. Any newspaper at all. not even upto 5k

nobody is asking for dollars payment for tb test. It is naira. 57k something. Email iom for details.
