Anyone who is deceived, where is his or her sense of reasoning. It is said that to be uninformed is to be deformed. It is sad to say that many Christians are uninformed and misinformed. To be misinformed is to react based on false information and that is what the devil is after in other to keep you in the dark.
In this forum, there are many that the devil is using to keep us misinformed by false doctrine they are posting in the forum. This warning is paramount this time around because there are many the devil is using though they first presented themselves as Christian. You should also note the warning in 2Cor 11:13 – 15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2Cor 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

2John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an Antichrist.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

I must say that any post that is targeted on corrupting your spirit is from the enemy. Any post that instead of making you to having a deep understanding and relationship with THE HOLY SPIRIT is rather is corrupting your mind is a grand deception from the devil.

Yes we can have our own opinion on religious issues because of differences in understanding. If you understand something, the way you believe and react will differ from the way somebody else believe and react. Surely you react over an issue based on your opinion. Take for instance tithe, why do some christian pay and some don't pay?

Looking at various threads and comments of members of this forum, one may think that biblical truth ARE established by majority opinion. It is rather very fully that unbelievers, people who never attend church, because they are majority in the forum think that biblical truth are established by majority opinion. There are some truths that people are requested to VOTE whether it is true or false in this forum.
For avoidance of doubt, truth is truth no matter who is in favor or against it. That you don’t understand or believe a BIBLICAL truth CAN NEVER MAKE IT TO BE FALSE WHILE AS ANY FALSEHOOD NO MATTER THE NUMBERS THAT FAVORED IT CAN NEVER MAKE IT TO BE THE TRUTH.

The BIBLE said that the preaching of the cross is foolishness to them that perish. 1Cor 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. Because majority of members are unbelievers, they don’t understand many biblical truth as most of the truth does not make meaning to their natural understanding. Bible is a SPIRITUAL book and such it takes spirituality to understand it. You can never use your natural or logical reasoning to interpret it as the bible has something to say about it. 2Cor 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

The summary of what I am saying therefore is that the BIBLE is the truth and nothing but the truth. That you gave it wrong interpretation CAN NEVER make it not to the truth. And the BIBLE summarizes it in Romans 3 verse 3 & 4 Romans 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

Thanks for your effort. However all the above verses you cited are not talking about tithe. You need to have an understanding of the real truth about tithe before you start writing on it.

If not that we belong to other forums, one may think that what is happening in religious section of NF is normal. Forum is meant to be for interaction, learning new things we don’t know before, improving on what we know before etc. This is not so in Nairaland Forum,as what is generally obtained are quarrel lings, groupings and camps, whereby individuals tend to support whatsoever members of their camp said no matter if it is wrong or not, whether it make sense or not.
In this forum, many has mind set in that they can never welcome anything new that differs from the opinion they has already. Worst still is that in this forum individual tend to attack every thread by anyone outside their camp and at the same time they regard their personal opinion on any issue as final, and correct while viewing other opinions as trash.

However, the issue I want to point out in this thread is to let members realize that our opinion are never final and can never be final. This is because ever man/woman is entitled to his or her opinion. When it comes to religion, we should realize that every opinion is right or correct in ones opinion, because the opinion may be based on ones understanding, ones perception, ones faith etc. Because our understanding, perception, and faith differ always, our opinion must differ. There is nothing wrong with copying and posting. What is totally wrong is copying and posting someones articles and giving the impression that the article originates from you. When you copy, you should let others know where THE ORIGINAL article is from and should equally leave a link to that cite.

One of the great attribute of man is that he is a free moral agent. Man is free to decide what is good or bad for him. Most time what we take for good or bad are based on our belief, our understanding and our perception. That is, what is good for one may be bad for another?

So when it comes to religion, most of our actions are based on our belief system, and our belief systems are based on our understanding. Truth is truth not minding who is for it or against it. Truth is constant while any other thing varies and the BIBLE said that you shall know the truth and the truth shall se us free. John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Many today are propagating falsehood in the name of the truth because they are held captive by the enemy of the truth. Because they are captive in the hand of the devil that uses them as toys even with out their knowing it. 2Timothy 2:26 “And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will”. For this reason the devil inspire them to write all manners.

If you dare differ from their opinion and believe they are ready to attack you person calling you all source of names. I decided to bring this up this thread expecting Earswide to react and tell us what happened, why the MOG he boasted that he will flush out of the pulpit are still there. Sometime ago, Earswide entered this forum with youthful exuberance and boasted that he is out to flush CHARLATANS out of the pulpit. And who are the charlatans according to him were leading MOGS from Nigeria, like Bishop Oyedepo, Pastor Chris, Pastor Ashimolowo, and Pastor E.A. Adeboye etc
He boasted that he is out to flush them out from the pulpit and I remember asking him how he intends to do it. I told him that his boast was like an individual who came before a concrete wall and boasted that he will bring it down with his or her bare foot. It seems that his legs were destroyed trying to do so. Or that he found out that flushing them out was beyond his imagination and decided to quietly join others in abandoning Earswide to assume a new name as many does in this forum.

Please i want to ask which church did the lady attend and what did that church say.How do you expect any church to believe you based on your letter of appeal? Many before had defruded the church using similar appeal for help.

There was the case of this lady in our church. We knew her because she was fond of giving special nunber. One day she came up with the information that her mother was dead and that she was the only suviving child and needed mony to bury her mother. The church raised money for her money and sent two sisters to accompany her home but to our supprise, the lady disapeared at the motor park. Two weeks later, we learnt that the lady's mother was alive and the mother had to travel to the church to appoligize of what her daugther did.

The reason why no church headed your appeal was that they are not sure you are telling the truth.

Whenever I have time to visit NF and see trash some post as thread and comments from people. I can’t help but pity the individuals. The situation in NF (religions section) is a pitiable situation because ignorant folks as far as religion is concerned are the people who had taken over the religions section.

The worst case scenario is that they don’t spare any one that dare differ from their opinion. Because of their mind set, they take whatever they say as final and been the correct and true situation. Anyone who dare differ from their opinion is regarded as dunce and nonentity. That is why there are groupings and camps. Those in their camp or group tend to support whatever the people in their group or camp says whether good or bad.

Another pitiable situation is not that atheist, unbelievers, people that never attend church nor has any thing to do with religion are the ones that claim to know the BIBLE better to interpret what it says.

Finally the moderators in this section do not help matter as they determine which topic to retain and which to delete. There are topics you don't expect to see in the forum while others you will be searching for only to realize that it had been deleted.

In all, I want to remind all that whatever any one says in any issue is nothing but individual personal opinion and everyone as far as religion is concerned is entitled to his or her opinion. Until we learn to respect one another’s opinion in this forum thing wll not work fine.

May i tell you why serious christian had withdrawn from the forum.This is because no serious minded fellow will like to waste his or her precious time in this forum.
