Lagos is over hyped yet your IPOB brothers flood the street of Lagos earning a living. the population of igbos in Lagos is more than the population of imo state or abia state, or both put together. the five state in the east can't match Lagos development.

Lagos and most part of Niger delta have the same terrain or topography, some parts of Lagos is even below the sea level, you should know what that means. building a house in lekki besides the cost of the land, can never be same with building a house in alabagdo because of the difference in their soil texture. you can construct 1km in kaduna or Kano for 50m but in Lagos or any part of the Niger delta it's going to be double of that amount if not more. be well informed, it's good for you.

The senate is unfortunately constituting itself into a clog in the wheel of progress. Obasanjo privatised those refineries during the tail end of his administration but some unscrupulous elements advised Yar'ardua to cancel the privatization. If the Obasanjo era privatisation had stand, our refining capacity would have since improve by now but we missed that opportunity.

Another opportunity is here again to get things right and the same unscrupulous elements are using the senate to frustrate it. Eni and Oando are well established and credible players in the oil sector and if they have both committed to revamping the moribund refinery and increasing its refining capacity, I don't get why the senate is desperate to frustrate the deal.

Again, we now have a minister who is so committed to ensuring that we stop importation of petroleum products in the next two years. The success of this Port Harcourt refinery concession is very key to achieving that target. If the senate succeeds in killing this deal again, we should prepare for many more years of petroleum importation with all the problems that comes with it.

you are right. aside Lagos, we have 5 other dead or moribund ports, 2 in delta, koko port and warri port, 2 in port Harcourt, while one in calabar. all these dead ports are all in the south south yet we had a president from the south south who never bothered about them and by extension the progress of his people. sadly, you keep hearing he is our brother, from the people of that region.

yes I agree with you he is doing nothing out of the ordinary, but coming from a society where leaders are never held accountable .a country where balyesa state with 8 local govt councils, which population is not more than Alimosho and Oshodi put together , can afford to own workers up to five months salaries, yet, they are the third or fourth highest earner from the federal allocation. Nigeria is a case of half bread is better than non.

OP always research well before posting. Kanu never captained Nigeria for 16 years. he was never in the super Eagles team until after Atlanta 96. so how could he have been a captain when he was not even ripe for the supper Eagle. Uche okechukwu took over from Stephen keshi, then to Austin eguavon before Sunday oliseh who us to Mali 2002, before Austin okocha, followed by kanu who only had a short stint as a captain of the super Eagles.

the last time I checked, buhari administration completed the railway project and commissioned it for use. GEJ never completed nor put it to use. you can start hundred projects but abandoned all, that makes you a non performance or a fraud.
