Money is always tied to something,we keep the money in the bank to avoid the temptation of misappropriation.

Bank didn't tell you to keep your money with them till eternity.

Family is everything to me but I will automatically disconnect myself from any part of my family that might be capable of inflicting harm on me.

I won't even take chances at all with them. If you are nice to me and later found out that you have an ulterior motives towards me I will run.
May we not have evil parents because I don't know what I'll be capable of doing to them if they intentionally harmed me.

The only people who still have account without BVN are likely crook businessmen and politicians who bribed the banks.

No ordinary Nigerian can't create bank account without BVN, be it commercial or mobile banks.

So who are they fooling?

there are accounts without bvn and it's due to ignorance and it is entirely the bank fault for not educating the customers. There was an account I created for one of my child almost a decade ago.

I have never withdrawn from it but only deposit, I could remember when the issue of bvn came in 2015, I asked the guy if it will affect my baby's account and he said "what concern bvn with children" and I left and have been depositing monthly without problem.

Sometime last year I couldn't make deposit, it was saying account does not exist, so when I got to bank to complain I was told to link my bvn to that account.
They failed to inform customers when there is a new policy

I have come across such statements so many times from sons and daughters but you can’t hear anything about their fathers which clearly proves manipulation.😞

when you are actively involved in your children's lives they will surely acknowledge it and reciprocate the love towards u.
No mother can manipulate such children but, if you made the mistake of beating your wife in their presence just prepare to be abandoned in your old age.

The woman will cry and tell them how she endured their father's series of abuse and truly they witnessed it, so in that case what do u expect?

No matter the anger, the men should learn to control it especially when the kids are present.

My mom also has this "shut up" look she'd give me whenever we're with people and she wants me to shut up.

She'd look at me with a smile and blink her eyes twice or thrice, then I'd know that I must shut up... Her face would be looking happy while her eyes would be angry...

I can relate a thousand and one percent!!

My wife took in eighteen months after we had our first baby through C.S. even though we did family planning plus withdrawal method all through the period!

We managed the situation till 7 months into the pregnancy she had a premature labor because she had a fall with the pregnancy!

Long story short, she had another C S. in less than 2 years after the first one!
My brother I shed tears tire as I almost lost my wife.

Fast forward, about a week later we had to leave the hospital because bills were pilling up (P.S. I had no job at the time because I lost my job 3 months ago). My wife insisted that we go home to avoid incurring more that as we already have a bill of over million hanger on our necks bacause the baby needed to be incubated and no money to pay!!

When we left the hospital, my wife had to resume her food business (remember this is just a week after CS ooh) so we can pay the hospital bills while I was at home doing omugwo!!! No Mother, no mother in law no relative, just me, my wife and kids!!!

My brother all these and many more trials in less than 3 years of marriage and my wife never made me feel less of man! I am forever indebted to this woman, if I ever leave or cheat on her make I die like fowl!!....Iseeh...She is the reason why we are still married today because I would have given up on the marriage if not for her strength!!

P.S.: All these happened between January and April this year!!!!

To God be the glory because I just got a job less than a month ago since January.

Wanted to open a thread just as you did but couldn't.

What is painful is that the chances of people that genuinely needs help will be slim.

More than a year ago, one guy narrated a story like that, he wasn't even asking for financial help because he claimed he was ready to end it all, I tried to convince him not to kill himself, i chatted him privately and sent money to him, the guy was grateful and praised me for raising his hope and I said it was my pleasure.

He complained of being almost homeless and that was the reason I sent him money to go back to his family.

All the qualifications he claimed he has, I directed him to one of my friend in his own state in Ekiti but the guy didn't show up.

I even became worried thinking he has committed suicide as he planned because his number wasn't going for me, but the day I tried his line from another number and he picked, I said this is one of your helper from nairaland that I just want to check on him and family, he was grateful for my concern, so he started telling me he "hasn't found the complete money to discharge his wife from hospital that he still needed help"

Then I realized I have been scammed, when I told him this is oizee from nairaland, the guy disconnected my call shaperly.

So since then I lack empathy for all this kind stories o.
