Thanks Yul, your Dad raised you well and you represent the few who know the implications of certain misguided statements. Should anyone ride on that statement, such a one is only calling for conflict. If you're Igbo and believe Lagos is no man's land, show or tell us where in the East, a non-Igbo owns a common square foot or allowed to develop? #DoNotAbuseTheHospitalityAccomodationOfYourHost |
A photo is not enough, nonetheless, may what is shown outside be a complete reflection of what lies within. (Amen) Omoluabi Elders should go home now, forgive one another, accept the repentance of those (Falz, macaroni, Sowore, Obasanjo etc) who acted like illegitimate children these past few months/days and get down to the business of building the nation. |
From time immemorial till now, whenever the majority (supposed Pastors particularly) are focussed on the big picture rather than seemingly irrelevant details, when they are all saying or say "Yes" ALL THE TIME (like they are doing for Obi and LP) and THINGS DO NOT GO THEIR WAY AS PLANNED...this, is when one should tread carefully and ask, perhaps something is amiss. "The voice of the majority is not always the voice of God" (1 Kings 22:5-17) Perhaps Obi is being saved for something sinister coming in the future while Asiwaju is the one to face it? Is Mr Tinubu the "Saul" before "David"? Whoever won, either declared by INEC or the people's choice, God will still remain on the throne, men will still be mere men (fallen, fearful and frail) and God's will, no matter how unpopular shall stand. God's will is there to halt the wicked, to correct the righteous set to error and to keep all men in awe of what He alone can do. If the Lord says No to one and yes to another, no amount of human effort, fashioned to change God's purpose can prosper. #WeCanNotForceGodToAcceptOurWill #TheEasiestPrayerIsPrayingAndFollowingHisWillAllWays |
The hardest place for a deeply genuine man/woman is to have to choose who's (mother/father, wife/husband, son/daughter etc) side to be on, if he chooses one, the thought of the rejected will forever haunt, and should things not go well with the chosen one, the regret of whether the choice was a good one remains... When a boy loses his father, especially a first or only son, the boy becomes like the Mother's little husband, providing her with everything but sexual intimacy. Many widows unconsciously develop this bond with their sons without thoughts for healthy boundaries and thought for when his wife comes... While it reflects a mother's deep seated worry about being neglected, it reveals the sad truth that when women become widows in Africa, they are not allowed to transition, cope with the realities of their loss. At the best, they give them traditional mourning practices and gbam! carry own with your life, this leads them to being taken advantage of by those who secretly desired her while her husband was alive and such widows choosing to love their sons afterall their sons remind them of their late husbands and their sons truly, deeply love them without wanting sex. This situations happen alot and tbh, it is the true test that makes a man out of you. First of, because you re dealing with 3 women, always remember they are emotional. When a woman complains or reports something, an inexperienced man will want to get up right away and "fix it" only to realize afterwards it was not much of an issue or it becomes a bigger issue, when it could have well been left alone. 2. Starting with you, in that order, think about the decision you make and the outcome of events, who will it's consequences affect more? for example, when your baby died (my apologies for your loss, may it never happen again) who felt it most - I want to say your wife, which in turn affected you both as a couple FIRST. All mothers, their status as mother/parent of child/children did not change but you and your wife were denied. So my dear, honour the Mothers, yes, but love and protect your wife from both of them. It will be hard but progress is not achieved by laying on the couch or without conflict. Tell your mother-in-law to leave, no matter how much value she is to you and your wife, her presence is fostering if not aggravating a festering illwill from your mother, this is not to please your mother but to protect your home, your wife, which is what you are called to do as a man and husband. For now, whatever bonds between you and your mother, your wife and mother-in-law need to be redefined and that cannot be accomplished if they are too close to you and your wife. The old must give way for the new otherwise the new will never grow talkless of ushering in a new generation. Take your wife as far away from your families for now, if their presence was beneficial and they were not bickering, one of you all would have caught on how this selfishness is impacting on the spiritual tone of the home which evil powers love to take advantage of. Once far away, you and your wife with the help of prayers and the Holy Spirit (notice, I don't mention external church or pastor, why, cause you are the Pastor, your home the church, your wife, the congregation that will birth growth) would be able to see the strongholds from both sides, deconstruct them and build your own Strongholds. In Jesus Christ's Mighty Name, you will succeed (Amen) |
Wow! See PR spin Onlookers say she is crying for the victims of EndSars protest...whether this is the reason or something else, Aisha Yesufu alone knows...but then is it impossible to pretend to cry, whip up emotions, strategically have a cameraman take the photo at the moment she is with who she is with, and then whip a spin on it tagging it "tears for EndSars victims"... I mean, the hospital bills of those who did not die she did not pay, talkless of a visit to the families of the deceased, Aisha has not done - nice work Aisha!, after this stunt, no doubt reward ($£€ / contract / political appointment/ clout) is sure for Aisha ![]() #SomeOfUsAreNotFooledByTheseActorsWhoDontCare |
If Obi wins, mr Macaroni should be given special adviser to Peter Obi on other ethnic group affairs. The way he is going, maybe not Omoluabi affairs because many of the ethnic group he was born into are not happy with him. Macaroni - yoruba only by birth and name, Igbo by inclination, heart and future. Macaroni is a good boy! ![]() |
Please can I ask a question, if Nigerians are going through pains over the cash policy, fuel scarcity due to hike in prices etc, and these ones are still campaigning up and down, where are they getting the money and fuel from? Can these not be distributed to the people to at least cushion or alleviate the suffering of Nigerians? You see, this nonchalant behaviour when not yet in office will only continue if they get to office, this campaign of selfishness where people are suffering and your agenda to campaign to them is paramount will only be amplified should they win. Please note, this is not pro/anti anybody/party just a view of where the ball may end up and not where it has been |
Who is afraid of Obi sef? If he improves Nigeria no be "all" Nigerians go benefit? And if he does otherwise, what evil can he do to Nigeria, that Nigerians have not seen under Abacha, Obj, Jonathan and Sai Baba and still are surviving somehow... Abeg Hausas and Yorubas give the Igbos what they want and that is an Igbo presidency... He will develop the East, making it better than the other parts of Nigeria, the Igbos will have a region better than other parts of Nigeria and seek to develop their homeland as they are developing other people's homelands, they will be able to show each other (other Igbos) their true selves and not suffer the insults of being called derogatory names like Igbo, ipob etc Igbos will no longer need to live outside the East, their rising sun would truly rise over their land... If Obi wins, Igbos will have a choice to stay in dirty, Tinubu infested agbero Lagos or go home and do business there, even people like macaroni who are considered outcasts, bastards for describing their father's house with the left hand, if the west is no longer safe for him can move to the East as a reward for his overtly staunch support for Obi,...I mean, the positive possibilities of an Obi Presidency is worth imagining... And if he does not do well, haba! one major issue in Nigeria will be resolved, and it is should the Nation remain as One, afterall, North, West, South, and then East did it and all failed. One thing for sure, with an Obi Presidency, Biafra will emerge...and is that not what we all want? NB: please note, no man without The Lord God can improve anything in himself, talkless of on earth here... |
No need to worry, if Obi wins, he will make Anambra the capital of Nigeria, afterall, that is where his "political wizardry" started from. And if he does not win, let the states where he wins, adopt him as their President, same goes for the other 2 (Atiku & Tinubu) and let us split this continuously defunct union called Nigeria - it is no longer working. |
When we hear stories, names and see pictures of these people, one sees that they look like one of us, the masses...the reality is that they are just mules, decoys to make the NDLEA appear as if they are working, to throw focus off the real criminals who convey drugs via their private jets ...there is no way these ones could have pulled this off on their own, it is no longer about where they are from but those behind the scenes... The masses are the scapegoats. |
Apparently, the op and a lot of commentators here have a legal inclination - kudos to you all; for those of us, who are not so inclined, it is the Osun people we feel sorry for: on the one side, the petitioner that did not over-vote, he and his party are persona non grata to most Osun people, while Uncle Demola (the declared winner) paadi to Uncle Bob Dee (Dele Momodu) has shady certificates, is popular more for his dancing (I like it though),his being David's Uncle (perhaps why many young people support him), his bank rolling elder brother (you shoulda seen the way he Dobale for am when declared winner) and more recently his daughter-in-law's washing of their dirty linens on social media... than anything else. All these will only hinder progressive development in the State which impacts the masses more. |
Okay Sir, you did not say that. We apologize. The reality based on historical facts is, there has never been an administration, since 1960, in Nigeria, that the north has not been President or Vice, Prime Minister/Premier. Even now in 2023, it is happening again. Will Nigeria collapse, if a northerner is not in Aso Rock either as number 1 or 2? Is there a curse that they for once, should not be in power or the opposition. |
Hmnnn...this is quite analytical and realistic. The only one amongst the three loudest candidates that there will be least crises, should he win is Atiku. If Tinubu wins, Igbo no go gree, if Obi, Yorubas go shout "cheating"...only Atiku is guaranteed that when he wins, the other 2 may grumble yet console themselves with better Atiku than that "Tinubu" / "covert pro-Biafra Obi". Either way, the north wins. One look at all the 3 and you see the north sitting comfortable as either Presidential or vice Presidential candidate. Is there an abomination that says somebody from the north must be either one or the other? Also, are we sure it is not all drama to deceive the masses who want to kill each other over politicians who are united? Personally, the masses are the ones being deceived here: first Atiku is in PDP jumps to APC, now back in PDP, Tinubu is very, very old...he is deemed a thief, his proteges, the somewhat credible ones, folks have a level of respect for (Osinbajo, Fashola & Ambode) are not at the forefront of his campaigns, not forgetting his health, verbal and political gaffes, the bullion vans, the positioning of his family members in strategic positions in Lagos, his past and true origins/identity etc these only add to his rejection by Igbos and his kinsmen alike. For Obi, first it was APGA, PDP now LP. It is recorded he did nothing to improve the lot of the common "Nduka" while at the helm of his state's affairs, that he made his state for its indigenes and indigenes ALONE and deported foreigners/Nigerians, that when his political ambitions are hindered here, he simply jumps to the next party that will have him, an indication that there is more or less a personal/ethnic/sectional interest over National interest etc Anyways, whoever you vote for, giving them your vote is not enough...you must hold them accountable. Accountable by noting every thing of importance to you that they said they will do and monitoring their performance of it. The same way you come online and berate those who objectively question your choice of candidate, when your candidate wins (if he wins) may you find the same energy to hold your 'man' to his word Truth is, they are all men, weak, fallible, changeable and fallen. |
Father Lord, in Your Mercy, let no one get there who will rely on human capacity FIRST AND ALONE to do anything. If the effort, idea, policy, argument, decision, vision, CAPACITY is of man, it can and will be stopped by men. This is one lesson we have learned from GEJ, PMB now AAA/BAT/PO: Overpromising and grossly underdelivering...#WeAreTired |
This is very sad and unfortunate . May her soul find rest in peace (Amen) May the Lord have mercy on the officer helping him overcome the tormentous thoughts of killing another. (Amen) Nigeria today is a volatile reservoir of flammable violence, all one needs is the right match and boom! death occurs. On the fateful day, the officer never knew he would be shooting someone and be in a mess, the victim didnt have the slightest inkling she would not be returning home; her hubby and those present never imagined this would be the concern of a new year. All these point to deeper issues prevalent in the country. People are unhappy deeply, people are troubled, traumatized and as much as folks try to contain it, it can only be hid for so long, manifesting itself in ways beyond imagination and control, at the least expected provocation. While we comment please let us consider that: 1. There are many folks who have been accidentally shot but the case never went to court. And when it did, it was not expedited like this, the process was made so long winded to frustrate the family of the victim. This case is in the spotlight because the victim is considerably "well placed", because of the period and circumstances when the event happened etc 2. No Police officer, would be happy to be on the streets doing traffic stops on Christmas day? They would have prefered being home doing something else, but where they dont have families or are deeply unhappy or pressures to deliver from "Ogas at the top" the aggression and proclivity for mindless behaviour typical of the NPF would have been heightened on that day. A simple stop "...merry Christmas officers, we did not know you would be here today; "we dont have a lot of money here, but in the spirit of Christmas, what we have we'll share etc..." became a scene from a horror movie. 3. This example calls for a deep consciousness of the unseen dangers lurking in the shadows of every interaction in Nigeria. This is why folks should watch and pray. Watch closely, looking beyond the physical appearance and praying for daily intervention of the Lord in every engagement. There is so much bloodshed in that Nation, souls that have been wrongly killed are not resting in peace, rather they are calling for vengeance, seeking unguarded folks to express their dissatisfaction through them... Let us decide that each day of 2023, "I will not be a tool or accessory to darkness". The Lord never banished the darkness he met in Genesis 1, He only said "Let there be Light" and that Light is in the midst of the darkness. His purpose is that we may see the hidden emptiness (dangers, vanity, evil, death) on earth and follow Him to His strong tower where we are saved. May our soul not be extricated from our body (our licence to be here) untimely in Jesus Christ's Name (Amen) |
No matter what anyone says, if Peter Obi does not win, there is no problem, he will be President of Biafra, the Eastern states of Nigeria. That way, all those who want and vote for him as C in C can migrate to the east "...have their cake and eat it too". Shikena! Make una kwantinu yeah? Atiku go just slide enter Aso Rock ![]() |
Victoronah1:But he is not funny nau!? |
I know once Obi wins, Biafra is coming. So pls if you're tired of Igbos anywhere in Nigeria, make una let Obi win. Oh my Biafra!!! |
Why do politicians struggle with proving their educational history Salisu Buhari, GMB, BAT, Adeleke, now Obi? It is either political detractors are at work or indeed, there is fire where the smoke is. If you were at a place, not as a visitor, for more than 21 days, there are certain things one can prove one was present. Your class mates, certain teachers or lecturers, you were the class nerd, clown or school hockey, the activities you engaged or were privy to, certain events around the time etc It is a pure black or white, Yes or No response. When dust starts to evolve over something as basic as what you did, when you did it, how you did it, who was with you, then one starts to raise eyebrows. Buhari, Tinubu, Adeleke and any other politician, even we young people let us learn to tell the truth... if you did not go, do not have it, say so and let it rest. No need to lie. Although the argument that "education is the progressive discovery of our ignorance. We learn everyday ..." is arguable and in this case, misguided, one is glad that Obi's associates had the foresight to sort it out quick, now to move on to other critical things. |
Please, let us not postulate on something we have no control over the outcome. I think what would be a good debate, would be what, your chosen person, the one you re rooting for, would do when he wins. No one can effectively say, in this platform, even those one is rooting for, how, in concrete steps, they are going to improve the realities of the Nigerian masses. One thing I know is, whoever wins, will travel/go abroad, cap in hand to beg (as usual) the other so called "world leaders" to recognize them which, based on past heads of state's tenures, only plunges the nation into more poverty and problems. All 3 leading persons have nothing to offer. #IfYouThinkOtherwiseYouHaveBeenConned |
ebukajay184:He does have a point though - majority of those supporting who ever they are supporting come from the same group as the one they are supporting. Atiku - has Fulani/Hausa/Northerners, Obi has Igbos/South South/Easterners & Tinubu - Westerners/Omoluabis in the majority. This is why, and as classically illustrated by GMB, no matter who gets there, the interest of his tribe will come first. Las Las, na to our tents go work eventually, progressively, but then, the truth is, regardless of how much folks are saying let the country split, each group (Hausa/Fulani, Omoluabi or Igbo) is not ready, the fear is real, moreso the reality that each group does not have what it takes to build a nation from scratch. One ponders what considerable progress an Obi Presidency would do for Biafra, or a Tinubu for Odua Nation or an Atiku, would for an Arewa Republic. |
May their souls rest in peace(Amen). If you're one of those who envy being part of a politician's convoy, let this serve as a lesson and it is the fact that, you can be fatally ended for something totally unconnected with you. The irony of being dispensable for the life of the "indispensable" politician you are so keen on parading about with. Its election time and these things happen. The count of many foot soldiers, breadwinners that have been snuffed out during election times is abnormal. No one's life is worth a politician's ambition. |
Odewaleadesoye:The lesson here to all who read this is the STAYING OFF PORN which breeds LUST and ALCOHOL/DRUGS - both breed momentary and gradual loss of right and proper thinking leading to incidents like these |

Chimera30:It is regretted that the organization you worked for did not have an impressive mode of making long serving employees feel valued. However, going by what transpired and from experience, it is not impossible that your diligence and moral uprightness was making them feel bad such that the whole episode of deducting pay (even after notice of a leave of absence was sought) was aimed at forcing you to leave voluntarily. In this world, sadly, when you're upholding traditionally moral virtues (hard work, honesty, punctuality, contentment, modesty, humility) you will be hated, avoided, by majority, even your own family. Not necessarily for how what you're doing is affecting them but simply because YOU'RE DIFFERENT. Secondly, honesty and hard work pays, no matter where in the world one is. It reward is not, AT FIRST in monetary or material terms. Its payment is not AT FIRST from external people. It's reward is to you internally. When you're honest and that voice in your head says "you're stupid, can't you do what others did" that tells you, you're being chiseled to affirm/consolidate your values of honesty and honesty. You're being nudged to go beyond outward recognition of your value. If your values are so that others may see and reward you, when they do not or deliberately ignore you, you would end up frustrated. Quitting was a choice, at least, you can hold your head high and say unlike my predecessors, I STOLE NOTHING, I DID WHAT I WAS EMPLOYED TO DO. - these you can take to your next engagement, speak of confidently and even recommend they contact your previous employer for proof. One day, you will (if you do not compromise today) have the opportunity to tell others how honesty and hard work paid/made you the man you are. How your perspective about it was initially incorrect and led to frustration. How you hung in there and eventually it did not only build you as a man, it's rewards came externally after its roots were firmly established internally. All the best for your future endeavours. |
Are these not PDP disguised as Labour party stalwarts? When one sees photos like these, one wonders why those at the bottom come on nairaland and begin to represent these people shamelessly shouting Jagaban, Atikulated, Obidient...whatever, upandan. The other day it was Tinubu to see Obasanjo, now Obi too. These people think they have everyone fooled like kids issued candy. Sincerely, who ever wins this election is not going to change anything for anybody not in the political class of Nigeria. You can take that to the bank. Even Peter Obi is beginning to be suspect... I mean, watch his movements carefully, he is cozy with Errrybody - PDP O, Cultists...sorry Pyrates O, Christians O, name it. But not to anyone who falls under the "masses" group. Should this not be alarming?. I mean, the other 2 (Alhajis Atiku and Tinubu) we know, are confirmed "devils", yet they are select with their visits and dont appear to be Everybody's friend like Obi. Something is fishy. Nonetheless, All these folks are the same, they are only about maintaining their privilege/status. They are all on the same side? Until such "high places" of darkness, blood sacrifice, witchcraft, occultism, materialism and pecuniary accumulation are challenged and pulled down, no progress can be made by anyone, even Obi, for that country. We are watching! Carefully!! #YeHaveBeenWarned |
Philipponzaghi:Yoruba people are so nice to strangers, it is shocking!!! See the 3 of them looking 'nice', untouched, even 'boned' up like "nothing dey happen". Imagine if it were otherwise, as in MASSOB, Egbesu or Igbo vigilantes who caught 'foreigners' breaking into shops, they go don kill them straight, no time for mugshots... Seriously, Afonja abi na Amotekun are civil... |
Janosky:Thank you Sir #Applause |
The problems with United are many. Maguire, Shaw and Rashford must be benched or let go. When they play, it's like they are by themselves, doing what they like and hope someone will cover for them. This English boys must play mentality has got to be revised. During the pre-season games, the policy was relaxed and we all know how well they did. Also, the genesis of ManU's fall is authoritatively located on the arrival of Maguire. When he came, folks were like who is he, wetin he don do, who know am outside England, wey dem make am Team Captain. Many of the players then, even now are portraying this. Check the body language it is there. 2. They say drop McFred midfield duo. For who? United needs 2 CDM to cover for Maguire's flaws and Fred (who is btw, only energetic not a natural CDM) unfortunately is assigned to do that. Fred is somewhere between a CM and CAM, not anywhere close to a CDM(see when he plays for the Brazilian team). This is why when playing for United, his instructions are contrary to his natural playing style. You see him infront, then at the back, doing Shaw or Maguire or Lindelof's job. Mctominay on the other hand, is too temperamental and relatively inexperienced and so when he starts, gets a yellow card and gets pulled off. No other midfielders on that team can do what these 2 do, they are the most versatile midfielders United have. Fernandez cannot defend, Van De Beek is still struggling with the United philosophy of play. Eriksen don dey old. Who else now? This is why they want De Jong but then if he no wan come abeg look elsewhere. But then, it does not matter the coach they hire, the stars they sign, if the "English boys must play" is not revised and Maguire, Shaw and Rashford are benched or moved along, all will be the same. |
post=115672252:Thank you!!! Big wages cannot replace cohesion, team spirit, passion and pride |
iiifedimma:I wish I could agree with you but sadly, Obi will be worse than Buhari, Tinubu, Atiku whoever. The Nigerian situation is beyond who we support to get there, the past 8 years is a clear example. The only notable achievement Obi will record is the possibility of the East ever becoming President and maybe, enhance igbo's access to the National cake like Buhari did. Beyond that, they re all the same. |
English boys must play is Man United's major problem. Rashford, Sancho, Maguire, Shaw wetin them play today? That Rashford was just shooting wide like someone who had some pu**y before the game |

.
