I edited some typos that I had in that post, I thought you just wanted to know the Voc of a 400w and I gave you Voc of a 390w so you can use that to plan.... If you are planning to run 3s with that on a 100V CC then the CC will be gone for bad

I think I'm with you on the bolded. Except of course I am ready ti get a pick up truck to ferry them. Then get a very experienced installer to mount those large weights.

My 390w has Voc of 48v so it's safe to work with that for the 400w

Talking about VoC, with these recent 400 Watts, 440 Watts solar panels flying around, how many of it do you think will be in series to handle a 48v set up? 2s, 3s?

Thinking of including those in the array, so I have to be sure before I fry those CCs.

If its the one I'm thinking of, well;
1. You could get a rugged 200ahr battery for around 80k. It will give you longee backup time, and you can resell it later and recoup up to 20k.

2. It is not a pure sine wave inverter hence, your ceiling fan is soon going to be toast. Also that ceiling fan is not energy efficient so you are loosing more backup time by using thay fan on your system.

3. The inbuilt charger isn't a UPS styled type. Meaning, if your load is big enough, it will end up draining your battery even when it the charger is running, except you manually change over ALWAYS.

4. I don't know why you want to NOT charge your battery when it is carrying load and there is grid supply.

Has lead acid become cheaper recently? Because i doubt that amount will get a good battery

Please how does the victron clone fanpusun mppt charge controller with a VOC of 100V react to a PV input voltage in excess of 100V (say 105V).

Will I see white smoke or will the CC just stop charging the battery.

I am tempted to rearrange my array of 6 X 270W Yingli panels with a measured VOC per panel of 34V from 2s3p (VOC = 68V) to 3s2p (VOC = 102).

How close is the 34v to the actual nameplate rating? If it's same then you can go ahead else I expect nameplate rating will be more than 34v so don't try it unless you don't mind lossing the CC.
