Let me refresh your memory. In 1999, after the North unanimously ceeded the Presidency to the South-west in solidarity of MKO. The yiibos refused, they were the only one that contested the primary with Obasanjo and Olu falae at their respective party primaries. Obsanjo defeated Alex Ekwuweme at the forced PDP primary and Olu falae defeated the other strongheaded igbo man, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife in the Alliance for Democracy to become the candidate for the AD/APP.

They were left with two yorubas, they had to go for the candidate of the PDP, not because they love Obasanjo a yoruba man. They were left with no choice.. Forget all those talks of we vote Yaradua, they voted the Party, not the man. The PDP controls South-East as at the time.

These people are envious of the Southwesterners. This electioneering period just made it more obvious. They dont hate Tinubu because he is of APC or because of his age. I think the southwest should look into remodeling and beautification of its cities

Kaduna as been remodelled and upgraded, kano has been remodelled.

Less popular cities like Bauchi are far more beautiful than southwestern cities.

Former Niger Delta militant leader, Alhaji Asari Dokubo has made it clear that he will continue to stand by and vote for the Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu because he was good to him.

Dokubo, in a video clip today, June 10, said that Tinubu was paying the school fees of his children when he (Dokubo) was in prison.

“When I was in prison, Tinubu was so kind to me; he paid my children’s school fees. He gave me a house at VGC. He gave my wife a house at Ogba.

“When Tinubu was taken to the Code of conduct for trial, I trekked miles and when I entered the court, he came to embrace me after the court session.”

Dokubo said that Nigerians will miss a lot if they fail to vote Tinubu, adding that he (Tinubu) has many qualities that would lift Nigeria beyond imagination.
