Adminisher: He actually was. There was nothing this guy did that wad ordinary. Obj, Danjuma, Buhari IBB and David Mark.are still alive. Go ask them about who their boss was? Also try playing a clip of Muhammed addressing the OAU or UN General Assembly and campare with the current president. You will realize, you are either born with it or not. Charisma cannot be forced. Spare me all that! You can't make a great leader in just six months.if he had lived,he won't had been better than the rest of them |
Politics › Re: Why Is Murutala's Face Still On The 20 Naira Note? by Ojiofor: 9:19am On Dec 03, 2014 |
Adminisher: Murtala Muhammad was Nigeria's best leader. A real transformative character. Extremely courageous almost to the point of foolhardiness. Corruption free. Drove about without convoys, spiritual, ascetic and self sacrificing. Sometimes full of braggadocio, active, visionary. The best foreign policy Nigeria ever had was under Muhammad. The liberation of South Africa and Zimbabwe and MPLA's victory in Angola were the doings of Muhammad. You may not have been alive at the time but take it from me that Nigeria was not always a dirty, corrupt, cesspool governed by a corrupt, clueless and visionless coward. He achieved all this just in six months?he must be a superman. |

Politics › Re: Nigeria's Unity, Not Negotiable - Gowon. by Ojiofor: 5:47pm On Oct 15, 2014 |
T8ksy: And so too, did ojukwu. Both sides used different propaganda for the war but the fact of the matter is basically, both sides wanted the minorities oil.
There has never been any UNITY in that blasted country right from the time the north and south were amalgamated, to independence day and there has never been any UNITY in the country since then and never shall there be. The damn country was predicated on a bedrock of suspicion, hated and distrust and "many rivers have passed under the bridge since" so the possibility of future unity among the various groups in the country is zilch. Sir T8ksy well done oh.sanu de aiki. |

Politics › Re: BREAKING News:gowon Recieves A Trauma-filled Emotional Punch.!!! by Ojiofor: 5:20pm On Sep 01, 2014 |
fuckluv: Are you aware that Awolowo's release came much earlier before those boys? Because now you are making it seems they were released at the same time. If Gowon didn't made the order for him to be released, would he have gone to meet Awo at the airport to welcome him with the now famous statement "we need you for the wealth of your experience"? Wouldn't he have ordered for him to be re-arrested? Or Awo himself won't even dare step his leg in lagos.
Ojukwu only released banjo, nzeogwo and co but that took place in the heat of the confrontations before the civil war. By then, the eastern region was already acting as if its not part of Nigeria. So he needed those boys to fight for him. Even then banjo could not return to his base because he was still not cleared of his charges so he joined ojukwu in the state house at Enugu.
This is why I said people should read from independent writers because they will say the truth as it is without taking sides. You can read " Awolowo and the forgotten documents of the civil war" by Odia Ofeimun. Vanguard also carried it on Nov. 10, 2012. ojukwu never recognised Gowon regime from day one and the whole eastern region was under his command or did Gowon send soldiers from lagos to go and effect his release?Ojukwu said in one interview that he freed awo from prison. |
