What document/certificate do I need to authenticate apart from my university statement of degree result

Call VFS. Ask them if your papers are now with them

I went and picked my friend from the airport,he came back from London Ontario. He even told me that in his school no student from Nigeria came in for fall 2016 and even his friends in Nigeria he helped were all refused TRV.He attributed that this unforseen outcome is as a result of our poor economy not that some of us have not put the best of applications as a Canadian professor said.He said Chinese get TRV more often because their Economy is not like ours and the canadian consulars believe they can easily go back when they can no longer stay legally.
Meanwhile i will still meet him tomorrow for more information. i gave him space cos his girlfriend came around.moreover he extended my Canadian babe greetings to me and a gift package from her.

while i agree with you bro, a PGC(D) applicant would provide mediocre application and will hardly scale through.most atimes you can hardly hear PHD applicants here even with glaring loop holes they still get approved.i don't think i have seen any PHD applicant active on this thread get refused.same is applicable to masters applicants on scholarship or funding a VO would always be convinced that they are genuine students and would rarely pay attention to lapses in their applicaton except blatant concerning issues. But let PGC(D) applicant try leaving somethings undone,the individual is willingly providing pathway for the VO to discard the application.if prayer and fasting was about getting visa i wouldnt have been refused on just that mere reason cos my sponsor's monthly earning which is clearly stated on her payslips can still cover the remaining 1million in reference to the current exchange rate which another VO might still consider me if i appeared in the category of genuine students as it seems to them.in essence do the right thing 1st then grace, destiny and God's time for you can come to play.The truth is we all might not be meant for canada. I would like to go to school for a masters but I fall behind the requirement. I already have an MBA from uk and to apply for PHD I need GRE 2:1 which I don't have. And Also MBA is hard to translate to PHD. I would like to know if I can get a 1 year graduate diploma and argue in my SOPThat I need it for my work which I actually do and will help me back my application for PHD as its a research diploma. Sorry for long ranting na the age..Lol. Has anyone been successful by this route.

i was placed on a Ban since last week which i could have partken on the argument of PGD(C).i don't think such argument should be brought to this part 11 anymore and whoever says pgd(c) is not an academic progression,it is a capital LIE.Two of my friends are in canada on a PGC program! PGC program study are mostly aimed at a targeted work. But the issue i v observed from Nairaland is [b 69% [/b] of pgc(d) applicants are 3rd class degree holders and as i feel,a VO could be afraid of issuing you TRV even if the program relates,cos he doesn't feel your real intention is to study in Canada/you might not cope with the academic challenges and abandon your studies for hustling .mind you Canada wants your brain and not only your money
secondly, some are already masters holder and they apply for pgd(c) and obliviously declaring the masters degree on their applications,so tell me how a VO would be convinced about your purpose of visit?
Thirdly,as i have seen on some people's post,even with the correlation of program,they got refused,i feel also the VO have not convincingly seen why you need a pgc(d) at that particular point in ur career,e.g the prospects of the intended program, will the pgd(c) elevate ur profile from a level 9 staff to manager? will it also increase ur salary from 10k to 90k? e.t.c,these are sentiments to consider. if you have a good paying job and have worked for many years...,masters/phd/mba is the alternative route if your intention is to Study
fourthly,having done your best even at choosing the program that relates and convincing the VO,a VO might still not want to give you the TRV and refuse you on silly excuses.so if you can get a masters admission,the safer..
i disassociate myself from PGC(D) arguments because some i didnt say all applicants here are complex students and they would not reveal the underlying facts of their profiles which could be exclusively behind their refusals which now result to unwarranted arguments occupying spaces/pages here on Nairaland. Till i get my own reply from Accra..i take my self back to a low key mode.
