Sports › Re: Rohr Releases 30-Man List For World Cup by okechukwu101: 9:33pm On May 14, 2018 |
WizzPoll: Gernot Rohr is a very serious minded man, I like his list. Only those who have not been following Nigerian footballers closely will expect any other names. This list represent the best we have at this moment based on Merit.
I am sure Rohr knows confirmed 20 names in that list, there only very few minor alterations
Simy Nwankwo is in the 23 and on the plane to Russia, Him and Ighalo will bear the number 9 responsibilities Iheanacho is improving in number 10 position and could be a good substitute for Mikel in the position depending on the opponent Nice one bro. You have said it all
Ezenwa or Ajiboye, 1 of those two will make up the 3 goalkeepers Akpeyi is still a good keeper, he plays every week for chippa utd and will make that 23 list
Stephen Eze is a good invite but if all other Central defenders are fit he will lose out Omeruo is our only experienced world cup center back and he is young, Omeruo is in our 23 If Awaziem does not stop doing fine boy and get serious Uche Henry Agbo will take his place in defence
Echiejile's position is at risk and at some point Rohr will choose between Aina or Echiejile; except injury keeps Ebuehi out
Mikel Agu can forget the world cup, he is not in the 23. The final choice and the hardest decision Rohr will have to make is choosing between Joel Obi and John Ogu. Except injury rules out Etebo or Ndidi; Rohr will have to drop one off Joel Obi or John Ogu
Junior Lokosa can enjoy his time in the Limelight but except we get incredibly unlucky with Injury he is not going to Russia. He may have a fantastic record in the NPFL but I have watched his videos and dont think he will be able to trap ball at the world cup. Lokosa is going no where!
Those for me guaranteed to be dropped if all are fit are: Ajiboye, Stephen Eze, Mikel Agu, Lokosa, Uche Agbo + 2 others |

seyewest: You did nothing wrong but things like this do happen but looking at your application from the V.O's angle will you really return to Nigeria after the surgery? remember U.S Medical system is one of the best in the world. If you're sponsoring the trip and treatment,I'm sure the V.O will hesitate in denying you. By the way how old are you? Thanks for replying. I don't think it is a bad idea if my cousin decides to be generous to me. He has even made half payment already. People will be compelled to favour me. I will be 30years come September |

Please what am I not doing right? Was at the Lagos embassy today for medical purpose to fix an artificial arm for my left arm. Had a traumatic amputation of my left arm on 27th February 2017 due to a fatal accident from Abuja to Lagos I had the previous day. I was still denied visa and already have a doctor's appointment in the U.S. for May 25th at Houston Texas. I also have made half down payment too. Though I wasn't given an opportunity to tell the visa officer i have made half payment cos he didn't ask and didn't check my document/payment receipt. The last question he asked was about my sponsor, my paternal cousin and I told him about my budget of 15000dollars and what my cousin does for a living. I also had his account statement as he works with an oil servicing firm as a Sales Manager/Head for African region geocomplex which is credible enough. I will be going back very soon to the embassy again as I really need to put an artificial arm which will boost my confidence again and remove depression. Please what did I do wrong? |

clemmonce: There is something wrong with us here in Africa and the media Nairaland imclusive is part of problem. Just look at the way this BBM guys arw been celebrated for doing what ? Has anyone asked him or herself. What did they do ? Nothing... absolute nothing so why the attentiom and celebration or hosting. I pity Africans and most especially Nigerians. We don't celebrate scholars, educationist or innovators all we do is celebrate mediocres. What did Efe do that is spectacular ? What did Tboss do that is special or un heard of.... we really do have a problem. we have lost our value. And Nairaland is one of our problem. Anything BBN is straight to front page whether is makes sense or not. My brother as I write to you, Nigeria has moved from developing to underdeveloped country. Most Nigerians are just mediocres. Of what use is the BBN to a nation like Nigeria. Surprisingly the thought of an average Nigerian youths is so vague because there is a deliberate attempt to always run from little beginnings. |

Please do I need a medical report or referral letter from my hospital in Nigeria for the visa interview. The reason for my trip to the U.S. is to go put an artificial arm. I had a fatal accident on the 26th February. So I had to do a traumatic amputation of my left arm because the tissues in the arm got dead which could lead to infection. |
