Whilst that's true to a degree, adrenaline takes over you in certain defensive situations. Besides these crooks contributed 0% (trust me these guys sacrificed a lot for what they have) to what they had so it's not as simple as just buy it back next week either. ednut1: What if they were stabbed to death. People like to take silly risks. Every thing they had there can be bought with their weekly wage |

Well seeing as that's the case, I would advise just stay in Lagos do Uber, but ultimately the choice is yours. Now, you weigh up the pros and cons of staying in Lagos/going to Dubai then make the right decision that brings you not only financial stability, but also peace and good fortune. All the best. Fulham did this, had an underwhelming season got relegated. Similar to Sunderland and QPR few years back. It's not about signing a lot of players but a few good signings does the job to survive in EPL. Sometimes it's not about splashing cash. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: PM Boris Johnson Promised Brexit Deal By 31 October, 2019 by okeniti: 9:55am On Jul 25, 2019 |
My advise is that you stay in Nigeria and do uber. To a degree you are self employed (when you own the car that's when uber pays sha) and you'll be surprised what doors driving uber can do. May I ask what state you'll be doing uber in? I would advise against Dubai because from my viewpoint and what you explained, the african devil you know is better than the arab devil you don't. IneedSugarMumy1: I heard he is on support of briexit
Let's keep our fingers crossed
Please advise me
If you're to advice me on this 2 things which one will you suggest I do
1) travel to Dubai to work on a salary of 150k a month
Or
2) buy car and start doing uber, I might earn 200k a month |

I wish him well this season, i'm sure under Slaven Bilic he can only get better. Ola Aina was also cut from making final squad a little while ago and look at Ola Aina now, I believe Semi can follow similar path.
Hopefully the talented British Nigerians (interestingly the South London ones) like Fikayo Tomori, Joe Aribo etc etc choose the Super Eagles also. |

You seem very well travelled, how many countries have you been to may I ask? sayisayi: Ok. It is our singular greatest export globally. In Abidjan, was shopping in Adjame market in 2011, they refused to let me leave after buying goods before they went through their favourite ballers....
2006 in Salvador, Brasil for carnival, at one olodum jam, one guy held my shoulder and almost cried while relating our 90's Olympic win.
Wait, once upriver in Gambia, I was buying fish, these diligent, young girls were hammering mandinka well, well before one shouted... Chineke. I asked her how she knew that word...she said nollywood..

Sports › Re: AFCON: Villarreal FC Congratulates Chukwueze And Super Eagles On Twitter by okeniti: 9:34am On Jul 11, 2019 |
You've made some incredibly valid points. I think it's because EPL is much more competitive than La Liga and alluring also. There's also the financial aspect too. I would also add the language barrier challenge which could put some Nigerians off Spain. internationalman: I don't know why Nigerians rarely play in the Spanish laliga..
They are tactically batter than the EPL by far as one can easily see in Chukwueze... All our EPL players got to offer is physicality and tackling abilities..
I know Chukwueze will be dreaming of playing in the EPL already coz it's every player's dream..
But if I were his next of kin, I would advise him to continue plying his trade in Spain while aiming for the top two giant clubs in Spain..
I've been longing to see a Nigerian play in Barcelona or Real Madrid since I became a football fan.. |
