Family / Re: Are Opposite-sex Friendships Okay In Marriage? by Okiibe(m): 5:42pm On Jul 18, 2020 |
When married, friendship should begin and end among the couple. Outsider (of opposite gender) becoming a friend to one of the spouses is A THREAT. To state otherwise is just mincing words. Forget those individuals obfuscating this issue here. It's purely those who have not been able to cut their relationship/friendship with former lovers even after marriage. Of course, they will defend their position even here. But ask them if they will celebrate if they open their bedroom door and found the spouse in action with a friend? How does it start? By being "just friends" They will understand more by the time the spouse playing in bed, one begins to moan the name of that outside friend. Mark it, even when they don't moan it, many such people that keep close friends outside their marriage usually picture the outside friend while in bed with a spouse. My Holy Book says "Drink Water From Your Own Cistern" It means- enjoy the closeness of your own spouse. This includes real friends. My Holy Book also said: "...stolen waters are sweet and food eaten in secret...pleasant" This is to the effect that (except for the few with the fear of God) lots of people like to test or keep eating/drinking "the other person's food/drink". After all, if pregnancy results, there is a husband to hang it on. Jesus says -he/she who looks at a person and imagines intercourse, that person have committed the adultery already in his/her heart... Repent, all fornicators and adulterous men and women of this generation. Jesus is coming soon!!! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Kazim88: What? Nonsense! Why then has history attributed greatness and strength to male lions if all they can do is "protect their female" and procreate? My guy, if this is true, then lion is just over hyped. If lions don't hunt, then goats should be attributed more strength. At least, goats do more than procreate and fight for females. Thanks for the information. |

We need to open a Diary of People who play the Roles of Destroying Nigeria as well as those who play the Role of Building Nigeria. How is it they are doing everything possible to frustrate this young soldier into an anti-Nigeria stance? Are we not already engrossed with groups and persons fighting against the Nigerian State? Why did they not tell us the full name 'I.O.Mohammed' why not give us his full name? If this information is true, then problems like insurgency and banditery are created and fueled indirectly through acts of maltreatment done to trained personnel in active service. If they should frustrate this young man out of the N.N., what group will he join? Because he will need to survive! |

Education / Covid-19: Law Graduates Of NOUN May Now Smile by Okiibe(m): 11:35pm On Jul 13, 2020 |
The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is the pioneer Online institution in Nigeria. Conventional universities had, before now, been taunting them as a less effective University in Nigeria. The Law Graduates who passed through the NOUN have been denied access to the nation's Law School for the single reason that they do part of their learning on distance basis and do not regularly meet with their lecturers/facilitators. This has been viewed as purely Academic Politics by which means the graduates of Law from NOUN have been systematically prevented from accessing the Law School, so in effect, they cannot be Barristers and Solicitors even though they have graduated with the knowledge of LAW. Covid-19 has made it attractive and almost preferred to embrace distance learning and online education at lower and higher levels of education. We stands the chance to see how and when the conventional universities will approach and borrow the modalities from NOUN. We shall also see if the graduates of Law from NOUN can be granted access to their country's Law School or another reason will be manufactured and concorted to deter them from the right to practice their hard earned knowledge of Law by the power that be. |

Tofax: Complete Madness. You are free to express your grievance on certain matters. But, you are not free to threaten any person. WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR ERRING IGBO YOUTHS? MEDALS? If you think your so called jungle Justice is appropriate, why not recommend it for all ERRING Igbos? Even you, out of deliquency have typed this piece here and it's a misnorma for you to prescribe jungle Justice for a man who did you no wrong at all. What sort of Justice should be meted out to you, because you have miss fired in this? I recommend Forgiveness for you people. So, go ahead and forgive any of your perceived offenders. But Chief Nwodo has not wronged you. Remember that. Constitution is an organic document that keeps evolving and gets amended from time to time to suit circumstances and issues as they emerge. To recommend "jungle Justice" for people because they did not produce a perfect Constitution over two decades ago is appalling. Grow up kids 2 Likes 1 Share |
Travel / Chaotic Traffic Grid Lock In Kano Metropolis by Okiibe(m): 5:01pm On Jul 03, 2020 |
I travelled to Kano state and, as our driver attempted to go through Singa area, we were locked in traffic for about an hour without moving. Singa area of Kano is notorious for traffic gridlock because of the many trucks going in or coming back out of the gigantic market. Singa boasts of being the highest make the in the entire Northern Nigeria known for sales of Sugar, salt, Maggi, foreign rice, spaghetti, indomie, and all provisions with grossaries. The traffic problem ought to have subsided however in singa following the overhead bridge already constructed and completed by the Kwankwaso and Ganduje regimes respectively. It calls for the governmental will to end this traffic problem, considering that human factor is to blame most of the times |

Tadeknkeepcalm: No please. I am a Gospel Preacher and I know that New Testament doctrine of marriage is for 1+1. However, instead of homosexuality, I rather endorse polygamy. At least, polygamy was in practice in the old testament and God did not threaten any of the polygamists, neither did our Heavenly father punish any person for reasons of polygamy. But, God did actually wipe out a whole country of Sodom and Gomorrah for "unnaturally" sins of homosexuality. |
