S'hit just got real!! Lagos is burning!! Jonathan just shoved a foot up his own arss. I hope he can handle it! P.S: EVERYTIME the President makes a speech, Nigeria riots or bombs explode!! |
It is a deal breaker.. I will simply get the kids tested to determine which are mine and severe all ties with her.. Get the police involved for her to sign a surety that should anything happen to me she will be the first suspect cos a woman who can cheat can also kill.. No point hitting her.. No point killing her.. Just walk away.. No forgiveness as thats unforgivable.. |
Is it just me or is that guy Yoruba?! I have never seen a Hausa that answers "JOHN"... This Boko issue is getting interesting! |
"In the event of something happening to me, there is something I will like you all to see... Its just a photograph of someone that I know... Maybe those who once existed must be dead"..... "Bee Gees" R.I.P Robin Gibbs... Though the flesh may die, your songs will remain timeless.. |
O.K performance.. He is still a person!! |
I swear to god that I commented on this woman during the course of the match.. So na Skye Bank oga!! And the camera people were so wicked that they kept the focus on her for like 5 - 10 seconds!! Chaii!! I smell a Cecelia Ibru!!! Too much money!! EFCC would be waiting for her at Murtala Mohammed!! |
Logic Mind: There are no rulesIf my guess is right, by now you should be banned and any second now, your post would be deleted... ![]() |
valdprof: perhaps ur not in anambra .The governor is a greedy, slow poison *the school is the costliest in southeast* plz dont talk until u study d remote cause of the furoreAnd whats the remote cause of the "Furore" BIKO?! |
Good one!! Same thing should be done to Nupeng and Pengassan... TUCN and NLC as well... We have young Nigerians who are willing to take over.. These old farts make outrageous demands and use the unions for selfish reasons rather than for what it was formed to achieve.. |
elbukaze: It's only in Anambra state University i si dat students can't fight for their right, after the whole incident, osy d dean of student affairs send me away from Exam hall, neglecting d written note from my HOD, i've missed two papers now. I gues it time we disarm dose police in school front and stop d exam entirely. Aluta continua, victoria acertaI have so much pity for you!! YES!! Its the likes of you that grow up, use thuggery to join politics and start talking about enforcing ficticious rights that you have cooked up from the air.. What Fhucking right do you speak of sir?! You havent paid your bloody fees and you have the balls to talk about rights?!! What course are you even studying?! How did you even gain admission because the topic in question is a simple logical issue.. You didnt pay your fees (for which you are wrong), you got barred from writting/entering the examination halls (for which the school is right), you and your goons go on destroying school property (which is a crime for which you should be in jail for), and you are here talking about right and disarming a Poice officer (which by the way is a federal offence)... May God have mercy on your soul and the future generation cos if you become a leader with this mindset, na your type dey employ thugs to kill and maim opponents and subvert justice.. callydon: For those who are justifying d sending out of students 4rm exam hall b'cos of skool fees,I av one question 4U.If U are a finalist n for some reason COMPLETELY beyond ur help U cud nt PAY ur skool fees n U were sent out. Do U knw dat means Automatic EXTRA YEAR n at d end of it all,U'll still be expected to pay d fees even after it had cost u an EXTRA year...Let me start by addressing two words you used in this rubbish you wrote "Fair" and "right".. Is it fair for the school to drive you out of the examination hall for non-payment of fees?! The answer is NO!!! It isnt fair for the school to do that.. Just as it isnt fair for a Landlord to kick his tenant who has defaulted of rent out of the house, same way it isnt fair for the government to demolish the house of a man built illegally, also as it isnt fair for the Police to tow a mans vehicle that is parked wrongly on the side of the road.. The truth is that many things that are done against us as a result of our inadequacies/short-comings are not fair.. BUT!!! Is it right for the school to kick you out for not paying your fees?! YES SIR!!!! They are within their rights to evict you for non-payment of fees, just as they should arrest you all for malicious damages and disrupting the peace of the University. The school needs the money.. Wether you are in your final year, or first year, it just goes to show you that there are consequences for your actions.. A friend of mine in my school days in Ghana got held back for a year because he didnt meet up on his fee payment before the set deadline.. Now he had written his final examinations o!! all that was left was convocation and collection of certificate.. The dealine was set for 3 weeks before convocation.. his fees were paid 3 days after the set deadline.. He not only didnt make the convocation, but his certificate read that he was held back for one year... That isnt fair and in some cases could be interpreted as being wicked, but the rules are the rules... I'm sorry.. In this subject matter, you have absolutely no right to nothing and should be pleading for leniency rather than standing on a high horse to change a wrong into 'your right'. Faithnn: Nobody is supporting non payment of school fees, but all we should knw is that wheather school fees or not there is state budget for payment of salaries of workers in the state. The school fees is just internally generated revenue from the state. There is a monthlty federal allocation to the state from the federation account which covers the payment of workers salary in the state outside the school fees.Stopping a student from writing his/her exams is ridiculus by the school mgt.All the school mgt should have done is to allow them write exam and their results will not be release until prove of payment of school fee. There are a lot of students whose parents are facing d/f period, others may hve lost their sponsor to the cold hands of death, while some must have misused their school fees, but not stopping them from writing exams. The Govt of this country nigeria dont have any future for the youth. What is wrong with free education or susidising the fees?.Another pile of flaming horse manure.. We all have a sob story to back up every problem... At 50,000 Naira for a university education, that is dirt fhucking cheap... Whats wrong with free education is that whatever is free, tends to lose its real and true value.. The government of this nation have ruined the nation with free this and free that for everything.. We killed Nitel by subsidising the rates of calls and today, Nitel is so dead that it cant even be raised even after privatisation.. The refineries are dead today because of subsidy... The basic education system as well is dead because of free education.. The school should and does reserves the right to stop a student from writing an examination should they fail to meet the terms and conditions for studying in the school amongst which is the staedy and prompt payment of all outstanding fees.. And inasmuch as the salaries of the teachers are paid by the government, where do you suppose the money for school supplies comes from?! How do you suppose the school buys, manages and repairs their equipments, cars and other things necessary for for a university to run properly?! Stationaries and all?! If you want free education, get a fhucking scholarship, if you are not bright enough to get a scholarship, then be ready to bend backwards to pay... My fathers result was held back by his school for over 2 years before his mother pawned the family land to pay his fees... What you may need to know and know now is that a University is an autonomous entity... Monies gotten from fees are not counted as IGR for the state.. They need these moneis to provide quality education and keep the school running.. Thank you.. |
Sagamite:DARN!! Is that a new verb or what?!! |
I have noticed a new trend on Nairaland where mods delete posts with reckless abandon. On one thread, the Mods deleted over 4 pages of posts.. I personally think that this is slowly ruining the atmosphere on this forum.. In as much as I understand the need for orderliness and decorum on the thread, some of their deletions are very questionable.. Infact, I wonder why there are no set rules on deleting of post and banning of members on this website.. What SEUN and his MODERATORS need to understand is that they are not infallible and should be subject to some form of boundaries lest they begin to abuse their authority... I want this on the front page so the Mods can understand how pissed off or how supportive Nairalanders feel about their new found attitude to banning and deleting of posts and mambers... ![]() |
Abagworo: As at May 2008, Amaechi and Akpabio had not reached Rochas stage at the moment. So in comparison, he's doing better for now with his meager resources.nwokem, please speak only of what you know about... rivers state felt the impact of amaechi as soon as he became governor... You strike me as a Rochas supporter hence lacking the ability to make unbiased assessment of his achievements... I honestly pray you are right, because most Imo State residents I have spoken with have said otherwise.. Also, Dede1 has repeatedly pointed out that he still pays tuition fees for his Umu azi's so what's happening with the free education bit... |
I am one of the biggest critic of the Rochas Okorocha administration and since I dont actually live in Imo State, I will be cautious in my assessment.. I took a drive from Onitsha to Port-Harcourt during Easter and passed through Owerri and I am sorry to say that I wasnt impressed with the road construction I saw.. The quality of the roads were poor and no real thought was given to the other things necessary in a mordern day road like Drainages and street lights.. The entire drive, The Onitsha Owerri road was the best, Port-Harcourt was second best and Owerri road was the worst.. On the Kerosene sharing, I made my feelings known extensively on Nairaland... It was a foolish move by his administration as that singular event posed a very big HSE hazard to all and sundry that attended that charade.. Secondly, it wasnt sustainable, neither was that the solution to the kerosene scarcity on ground.. People dont want free Kerosene, they just want it to be available when ever they need it.. He failed to address this as my findings have shown that the situation is status quo.. On the paying of stipends to minors in Secondary and Primary schools, it was an unnecessary move.. If he really wanted to do something for the ids, he could have signed an MOU with Biscuit manufacturing/distribution companies and maybe coca-cola to give every child in schools 1 biscuit and soda a day.. or even a 'feed the child' program.. This his new policy is very open to fraud as their is no real statistics on the number of students in Imo State and thus could be inflated and used as an avenue to steal the states fund.. 20k minimum wage was cute... But I knew it wasnt sustainable.. It wasnt like Imo had any extra income somewhere.. The free education policy was a very good move except for the tertiary one.. Rather than free education for university students, encourage a scholarship system based on merit, sports and other such things.. His sending of 60 students from Imo State university abroad for an exchange program was another waste of money as an exchange program is rarely beneficial to a student in the long run.. If he had sent them abroad on a scholarship to study, that would have been a great policy.. I learnt that he privatised ITC and I cant complain about that as I believe that the government shouldnt be involved in business.. Especially in Nigeria.. The hotel!! Hmmm.. I wonder why Imo State would be investing in a hotel!! That should be the job of private investors.. If we should learn from the past, government hotels never last.. Hotel Olympia and Presidential Hotel port-Harcourt amongst others should serve as a good example for him.. In all fairness, for an outside observer and also considering that he is just barely 1 year in Office, I would score him a 25% out of 100.. P.S: The dude who compared Amaechi in RIvers State to Rochas is a joker.. Amaechi is handling so many projects that Okorocha could only dream of.. I will still keep observing him, so far, I call him the Media Governor.. |
O-Power is a failure Ekiti is owinng Electric bill worth over 4 years budget.. Both governors should buy and distribute lantern and Kerosene... |
jason123: Fashola, GOD FORBID IT IN NIGERIA! You hear me so?! GOD FORBID IT!Is that all!! What about all those Yoruba touts and Ex-NURTW militia that would now be legally allowed to bare arms?! It would be a field day for Agberoism in all the western states.. Checkpoint scenarion in Lagos; State Police; (in a hoarse voice) ARGH!! Omo!! See moto! Oga ejo park well.. Citizen: Hello State Police: Kiloshe!! Funmi papers kia kia... Citizen: What papers State Police: Argh!! you are 'h'asking me what papers!! Oya bole!! Wa gba station!! You wii spend 5 night for station!! Beni!! Abeg no o!! We no want!! |
nwanna89: F**k GEJ. Iv given up on you.Rueben Abati said to tell you; FHUCK YOU RIGHT BACK!! |
nwanna89: Senators earn 42 million per quarter. That's per 3 months. (There were reports David Mark earns 88m per quarter, but I don't want to believe it). So I assume GEJ earns somewhere around 80-100m per quarter. Enough to feed himself and his family.Prove it or shut it!! Thank you! |
Terrorist cattlefukers... |
eGuerrilla: The best way to cut crime is to enforce existing laws. Simple.I love you men!! (NO HOMO) Thats it!! We have laws on ground, however stupid some of them might be, they are still laws nonetheles.. If we could enforce 85% of the laws in the country, corruption would be drastically reduced by 85% as well... Thats why a politician can steal, get caught, tried and would end up on house arrest with a very useless jail time.. But a child that stole 1 packet of Noodles to quench his hunger would be in jail for 10 years awaiting trial.. In the land of Lawlessness, corruption becomes a way of life. Also, I know a certain tribe that is also championing corruption in Nigeria!! They are mostly located in the Western part of Nigeria! |
Most Nigerians living abroad are poor in comparison to their mates in Nigeria.. When they are abroad, they can only afford those houses because their is a mortgage system their that allows even a 21 year old to apply for a loan and buy a house.. Even their cars are on a mortgage.. They spend all their lives repaying the darn thing. Then they come to Nigeria and think it costs 100 dollars to build a house. When they arrive, the harsh reality on ground hits them.. To some of them, its a rude awakening. I remember a guy who left Nigeria and returned after 12 years, when he came in and saw the level his peers had attained, My guy deported himself sharply and has started making mad bread. When my Family and I returned to Nigeria in 2000... My dad had two houses on ground, sold the both of them immediately and built a massive house within one year... Now he has over 4 Houses scattered around.. Port-Harcourt alone and one in Abuja.. I remember asking him why we returned, and he said to me, THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE HOME... THE OPPORTUINITIES HERE CANT BE COMPARED TO WHAT YOU WILL GET ABROAD. Ask for those people who send monies home for relatives to help them build houses, I pity them. Thats the height of foolishness as your relatives would rob you blind. They would inflate prices, buy sub-standard materials and sometimes just outrightly defraud you of all your money.. My advice to those Americanas is; Send money home, put it in an account and call it your savings.. find time to return home and buy a land... Then pay an estate developer to build your house for you.. It may cost more, but you can be assured your work will be done. Naija till I die y'all! |
Is it that they dont consider Boko Haram to be a crisis situation or are they only good when it comes to shoot me-I-Shoot you type conflicts?! Why hasnt the Department of Military Intelligence (DMI) penetrated the group by now?! Abeg make them drex far jor!! |
Unfair!! 85% of Nairalanders are browsing with free hacked internet.. Nigeria's internet user population is prolly bigger than that of Ghana and Kenya put together... Thirdly, Internet in Nigeria sucks monkey balls.. And even top dollar dosent even get you fast Internet. |
Thank God for GEJ... He has reduced the budget.. Thats an administration the listens.. Fresh Air is still in the Air and all around us.. We have faith in "In the Boy who had no Shoes, Turned President of the Greatest Black Nation on Earth".. Keep pushing baba!! One day, "Onu kuru njo g'ekwu mma".. One Nigeria... God bless Jonathan, God bless Ndi Igbo, God Bless the Niger Delta and no place else!! |
walcolm: does it mean Big Brother cannot provide the guy with medical facility in the house?See as you dey talk about big brother like say them be Nigerian Government!! |
https://serve.mysmiley.net/aim/aim25.gif When people who are supposed to be saving lives can up and go on strike without sympathy for the people that would die in their absence.. Thats how you know you are in Nigeria!! |
I wonder ow that Boy would be like in a movie!! |
