I detest manual labour. I prefer to copy someone's notebook then the person will clear my portion in return or I'll razzle the person writing names of people done with their portions to write my name.

Botragelad:

Quick one, yeah. Sorry is there a certain rice you use when making the Nigeria jollof rice, and what sort are we talking about here.

This jollof rice doesn't look like the one I'm familiar with, does it still count as jollof rice?
I think they add Soy Sauce to give it that dark coloured look.

Let her go.
I know a family where the wife left first then the husband and her two kids joined her few years later.

They are doing quite well I must say so see it as a sacrifice. You both need to sit and talk before she leaves. If the tables were turned, I'm sure she'll support you as well.

All the best.

He stayed in your place when he was homeless so?
You don't need all that shalaya.
If you have the money, pay him then drag him for your verses.

I believe for him to voice out he actually needs money.
He's not an A list artist so might be struggling financially at the moment.

I easily get tired of Okro soup and vegetable soup that has stayed for too long.

Prefer them fresh.

I have actually fried it before. I'm not a fan of it anyway especially the locally bred one's so I tried frying it once to see. I prefer the river fish.

After washing the cat fish did you steam or fry it or just dropped it in the stew while cooking?

Looks good.

Fufu and Atama soup for breakfast. This one is fresh atama leaves and water leaves. I was trying to avoid the stress of pounding palm kernel and preparing it so I opted for the water leaf method but I still ended up spending more than 5hrs in the kitchen yesterday to prepare it embarassed. Akwa-Cross soups are really stressful to prepare.
The fingerprints on the fufu is it to confirm if it's soft grin

Family / Re: Let Us Talk About Increase In School Fees And Bus Fare. by okirewaju(f): 8:47pm On Aug 13, 2023
It's terrible. The increase in my kids school fees is alarming. Can't do the pick up and drop off abeg, It's tiring. Book prices for their new class has gone up also.

Wish they can make some things optional like; the opportunity to re-use text books as I have same books 3 sets in my house, buying normal notebooks instead of the school branded notebook which is too expensive in my opinion.

Family / Re: Help!!! Why Is There Always Sand In This Grinded Pepper by okirewaju(f): 1:20pm On Jun 26, 2023
Since you are buying in bulk, it's best you buy the dry one and grind it in the market with those people that grind.

Last time I bought, I bought Karen(Pepper type) #800 for Quaker oat tin well measured to the tippy top, I bought 2 tins then grinded it #200 in the mill which will serve me for a very long time as I'm not even a fan of dry pepper. I prefer it fresh-fresh.

I even heard some market women they grind kola with the pepper to increase the volume and some even add colouring lipsrsealed

The new tariff would take effect from 1st July. we're still in June.

I doubt that would be the case, but I am curious too. I think it is prepaid for a reason. Could be favourable or nah. Imagine after loading 30k, they refuse to give light for 3 months.
cheesy cheesy cheesy
It's a win-win sha. Since the 30k will be there even if they bring back the light next year. Prepaid is the way to go.

I said something about that some weeks back. It's like that in Lagos only. Cos I have a friend in Kano who's been ranting about darkness and how he's been consuming fuel for his business.

Same with the SE as well, EEDC is dealing with them over there. The enjoyment as I've come to notice is strictly for Lagos residents only.

One more thing...I'll suggest you load your prepaid as much as possible cos from what I'm hearing, tariff would be increased by over 40% from 1st July (next month). If possible load it in such a way that it would last you till January next year. I overloaded mine last night.
If we load it and they start charging the new tariff , won't it still be deducted with the new rate?
