Why do they pretend like they don't like false lashes on ladies?

Ever since I fixed it on Saturday, I've not been able to rest.

I get at least 10 toasters a day.

But online all of them pretend to hate it. Why

Because you have just officially informed them that you are an Olosho and available for knacking
Education / Re: How We Are Punished In Nigerian Secondary & Primary Schools (Photos) by Okpabana: 9:07pm On May 03, 2022
Znation:
If you went to your primary and secondary school here in Nigeria, then i'm sure you might have went through alot.

Six years going through primary and another six years in secondary wasn't an easy journey at all.

In my own time, we were treated like slaves; they turned us to farmers. We used to work in our teachers farm every thursday, and labour in school compound every friday. As if that is not enough, we also payed for labour fees even though we are the labourers.

I only enjoyed my secondary school during my ss3. Then, i was the S.P during my time and i was respected by everybody including my teachers.

It pains me that even in this present days, our children are still been abuse in school. They flogged us like they don't care, and they want us to know book.

I went to private school, but i'm very much sure that it is more difficult in the private sector than the goverment schools.

The goverment should do something about the way our children are been treated in school.

It really tamed a lot of students. Kindly compare the types of students we have in schools now and what was obtainable back then. If you like call it abuse oo. It works better on us. Schooling is not just learning books. It includes learning discipline in morals and strength. Indiscipline right from the foundation is what has led us to what is currently happening in the society today.

Hello, bosses.
Just this evening, I received an alert of #120,000 from an unknown person.
It says union transfer.
I really don't know what condition the person would be right now.
Am I to go to my bank to complain or to Union Bank?
Pls, I need helpful replies.

Don't touch that money pls. It's a trouble lurking around the corner. I mistakenly sent 250k to someone's account last year and I was able to use the account number to get his phone number from his bank through a friend. Called this dude to refund my money but dude insulted a hell out of my life and went ahead and withdrew the money.

I got all his account numbers that are attached to his BVN block with the help of court and bankers order. Weeks later the fool was arrested when he went to his bank to complain. He was instantly bundled to Portharcourt to face me. I got my money Wella and trust our black uniform guys, the make sure the guy accounts were emptied before his freedom

The POS print out shows decline. It is therefore left for FCMB to do a charge back request to UBA for reversal. It's a failed transaction. Just be patient. It sometimes takes over 2 weeks to resolve charge back issues

Culture / Re: About The Surnames Of Rivers State Indigenes by Okpabana: 2:02pm On Sep 05, 2020
MrOjay1:
I've noticed the for a long time now that many Rivers state indigenes bear westernized surnames like Blankson, Douglas, Perricosta, Souza, Graham, Peterson, McColumbus, etc.

I have seen indigenes of Rivers who bear the above listed surnames alongside other ones too numerous to mention. Was there any kind of foreign culture influx in Rivers State that influenced these surnames?? Or have they just been bearing these kind of surnames right from inception?

I need opinions on this.

Very common especially with the Kalabari's. Foreign names like Jack, Bob-manuel, Briggs, Captain, Robertrshaun, Wilcox etc. It is obviously due to prolong contacts with the early European voyagers and missionaries.

Celebrities / Re: Davido Reacts To Tweet About Losing Son To Another Man According To Igbo Culture by Okpabana: 2:53pm On Feb 25, 2020
Juliusmalema:

Please on a more sincere note let us all try and respect tradition.

That child in Igbo tradition rightfully belongs to chioma's father.

How can Davido be claiming a child he hasn't done. Anything on the mothers head. It is fully reserved for chioma's father to either allow the child to go over to David or not.

If he decides tomorrow that this child will be part of his land inheritance and will take his share as his son. He is right.

I am yet to come to terms how this child belongs to david.

The twitter user was right.

Finally, judges that are versed in people's tradition will try such case and on merit of it.

Bros, was it Chioma's Dad that slept with her and got her pregnant? What type of useless and outdated tradition is that? Claiming someone else's child is also a tradition? SMH. One day, someone will come here and tell us that killing by one popular tribe is also a tradition . tufiakwa!

Education / Re: What Makes A Door Shake When Another Is Opened Or Closed? by Okpabana: 11:04am On Nov 13, 2019
UrVillagePpl:
Greetings Nairalanders,

Please I want to ask a question, What is the synergy between doors that make the door shake or open (if properly not close). This happens whenever a door is shut or open and as a result, the other doors tend to make a sound (even though they are farther apart). Asking Google would have been a good option but don’t even know the question to ask.

A minor who happens to be my nephew keeps asking me this question and considering the fact that I do not know I always tell him it’s a normal thing and immediately send him away grin grin lipsrsealed
Just a moment ago, I gave him the same reply when he asked me the question. But this time around it increased my curiosity of wanting to know the science behind it.

So Nairalanders over to you....

Air pressure within the room is responsible. Go read vacuum pressure in elementary physics. grin grin
Sports / Re: Gernot Rohr Drops Kelechi Iheanacho And Semi Ajayi From AFCON List by Okpabana: 8:58pm On Jun 09, 2019
Dorischuks:
Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has been dropped by Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr ahead of Nigeria's campaign at the 2019 Nations Cup in Egypt.

Likewise, Semi Ajayi who plays for English club Rotherham United was also reported to have been dropped by Gernot Rohr who was not impressed with his game.

At the just concluded Premier League season, Kelechi Iheanacho struggled for form and was left on the bench for most games for his club. He got a chance to face Manchester City in week 37 of the Premier League season and saw a good chance to score against Pep Guardiola's men which could have ended their title hope.

The rest of the squad will travel for the tournament which kicks on June 21, in Egypt.

Get more gist here https://thickmatch.com/breakingsuper-eagles-coach-gernot-rohr-drops-kelechi-iheanacho-semi-ajayi/

He ought to have dropped Mikel Obi too. He has no value to add to the super eagle team for now.

Emmanystone:

Brother, you are a chosen vessel thats why you didn't just fall into satanism hook line and sinker. There's light around you, that's why satan is trying to frustrate you. If there was nothing good in you, he wouldn't fight. It now depends on your Will Power. What do you want?/

The Bible says, To whom (God or satan)/you yield yourself to, you become servant to.obey them. Decide what you want first. Deliverance begins with you Willingly determining where to stand. At least God has been gracious to show you that anytime you draw closer to him these phenominones changes, few have this grace.

Now, the Bible says, With a heart we believe, and with our mouth confession is made unto salvation. What this means is that, if you believe in your heart and dont speak it out loud, you won't see your salvation.

So, whatever you don't want to see, command it to go away in the name of Jesus.

Begin with this. Walk to your toilet now if you are at home and speak to it.

Say this, 'Toilet, i know you are an inanimate object, but i also know that my God is the God of all creation inanimates included'. You are made for me to use afterwards flush you down. I know nothing is wrong with you, so, from this moment, i will flush you and you will flush in Jesus name. Amen.

Flush it it and leave, it may not automatically flush at that moment, keep doing it, and you'll see what will happen.
But, if you do it doubting if it will happen, then forget it, it wouldn't.

I will send you a PM, pls respond.

Good day brother, i dont know if you are a pastor but I need deliverance from the operations of community diety (idols) that had held the whole community spellbound for generations now. Many revelations have been given concerning this and some of us have been praying and fasting. The deity had been fighting against the progress and prosperity of members of the community. We earnestly need God's grace and deliverance. let every man of faith in this forum pray for my community. Shalom!

Therefore, let our youths learn to stay in this country and contribute their quotas towards the nation's building instead of illegally going through the deserts to Libya and end up "a slave"

Alien Tort Statute

The Alien Tort Statute (28 U.S.C. § 1350; ATS), also called the Alien Tort Claims Act (ATCA), is a section of the United States Code that reads: "The district courts shall have original jurisdiction of any civil action by an alien for a tort only, committed in violation of the law of nations or a treaty of the United States." Since 1980, courts have interpreted this statute to allow foreign citizens to seek remedies in U.S. courts for human-rights violations for conduct committed outside the United States.

Mr man, the last time I checked, Nigeria is an independent Nation. America is not UN. Can Nigerian court handle American internal issue under any treaty? You can go sell urself to the Americans.
