I dey bro. I am yet to use my Payoneer card on any ATM in Nigeria. This is because of the new CBN policy which states that: 'banks should destroy all ATM cards (apart from the bank's own) that get stucked in their machine'. I just can't stop thinking it may get stucked in an ATM machine. I don't have the $60 to request for a replacement card.

I withdraw my funds through @Arbitrage at N150/$. 150/$ with a peace of mind is better than a risky 165/$ (banks rate). Payoneer charges $3.15 per ATM withdrawal and $1 for checking your account balance on an ATM.

I have also used the card successfully on every site where I work online, even on sites that doesn't accept payment from Nigeria (e.g. BrandBucket). I just change my billing address to US and it works fine.

I just lost 3 good names at the auction. Mehn, painful, wasted a whole lot of hours watching the domains, very fierce and I was outbid several times. Long story short, all the whole hours wasted.

Surprisingly, guys are bidding at ridiculously high price, and it seems the system also played a foul one on me. Many a times, the time is almost running out with less than few seconds, setting a new bid, hoping to be the highest and last bidder, but before I could say yay!, there is an increment on the timing, this happened repeatedly until I got tired, and thought maybe it's an inside manipulative way of making the buyers pay more for the domains.

Finally, the other guy won it. BETTER days ahead.

I'm sorry for your auction experience. This experience is not unique to you; this is what a lot of people face everyday in the aftermarket. The aftermarket is now very competitive because domainers have realized that it is the best place to get quality names.

There is nothing manipulative about the 'auction time reset' (I've forgotten the standard name for it); it is a way of getting the most value out of every auction. The rule is that: "every bid in the last 5 minutes of an auction adds more 5 minutes to the auction." Many auction houses use this rule. Now imagine that you are the owner of the domain being auctioned. Applying this rule gets you maximum value for your domain.

12bucks in a month from parking revenue is 12x12 =144bucks in a year. This figure alone will buy scores of newly hand reg'd domain names.

Can you share the screenshot(s) she gave to you? Maybe you are not seeing something right. Only few people can give out a domain that makes $12 a month, free of charge. There are not many domains that can make so much in a month.

databoy247: The bitter lesson i have learnt here is to trust no one. No matter how legitimate or responsible the person might appear...TRUST NO ONE! And to anyone out there that has a viable project he wants to share or seek funding, always ask the person to sign a NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) before sharing so if anything happens, you can properly seek legal action. That was the mistake i made and such wont happen again.

I will not advise anyone to do this. No idea is unique to you. If anyone comes to me with an NDA, I will not even listen to the idea at all. NDA means locking me into a contract that prohibits me from ever doing any business that is related to the idea you shared with me.

As for the owner of LearnSmart, i will see how far you will go. Thieves always get caught one day. And as they say, "The more you keep trying to be like someone else, the more you end up being no 2."

I still think you should stop calling them thieves. Your unique idea may not be unique afterall. Focus on ways to develop your idea further and become better in your space. If Jarus can be kind enough to share those flaws with you, correct them (I'm sure the flaws will be about your business model, not your website). If LearnSmart gain enough traction in Nigeria, you may end up being number 2 to them.

How do you guys renew your domain names? I recently renewed a .com domain at GoDaddy for $15.29 - there seems to be no discount code for renewals. Do you transfer them out to other registrars? Where?

Unlike some other online businesses, there is no 'Nigeria aspect' to domain flipping. So I can confidently say that everything the OP wants to sell is available for free online. You just need to find it. Google is your best friend here.

The reasons you ended up that way was because (1) You paid a huge amount of money to get the information from an information marketer. I am different, I want to help you because I have made lots of cash via this medium. (2) The online business you got into had to do with trading and/or betting. YOU WILL NEVER MAKE MONEY BY BETTING. If they call it trading, its betting, and if they call it betting, one is doomed. The house (The betting company) will always win no matter what. If you win, you still lose because you just won someone else's money and another person will still win that money which you won from someone else. This way, the traders are the losers and the house only is the winner. You can't build a meaningful life by just betting. Trust me, you can't.

I pity whoever buys anything from you. You are different? You want to help? You have made lots of cash? Your words not mine. Why then are you still begging for N1k? What happened to the lots of cash?
