Unless the Act that established NYSC give it the powers to make provisional laws as it deems it fit, anything that is found on NYSC website that cannot be found in the original NYSC Act (or as amended) is absolute BS. It is left for the guy's lawyer to ascertain this. |
GamaG: If he remedied d situation in UK then he should work in the UK not Nigeria. In Nigeria he should have 5credits complete before serving. Why is he undermining the sovereingty of this country?Wetin concern sovereignty for this matter? Haba! |
wisyno: 899.com? That means guys gat try register some number domains oThe downside to registering number domains is that there are no clear-cut end users. A large proportion of the demand for numbers domain is coming from China (I don't know why the love it). 114 .com sold for $2.1 million. Anyway, just like the LLLLs, I'm not sure if you can get any NNNN for regfee. They have all been registered and anything above NNNN will be a hard sell IMHO. |
dotcom_na_me_na_me: Rick Schwartz turned down $150k for 899.comRick is crazy, you know. He's always fixated on the long run. If I get such a deal (pipe dream?) I will retire from domaining and invest in the real world. |
samee72: ok no qualms will sell it only to avoid getting a bad reputation, but still waiting for the guy to make payments1000+ Likes |
ruffneck: It is not compulsory for foreign trained nigerian gradutes to do NYSC to get a job in nigeria.it is highly optional. This is not correct. |
dotcom_na_me_na_me: @ Oladayo, can you please explain or define: BIN Price in Auction?Every part of your post except the bold is correct. Buy it now (BIN) price is for anybody who want to buy without waiting for the auction to end. What you have in bold is the Bido price (or reserve price). If the highest bid for your domain is higher than the Bido price, good for you; if the highest bid is lower than the Bido price, you can choose either to sell to the highest bidder or walk away. However, if your Bido price has been met, you are obligated to sell at that price, since "the least amount you will sell it for" has already been offered by somebody. |
samee72: hello house, pls i have a problem one of my domains sold for 50 dollars at Bido auctions and the auctions is over now, but the issue is i don't want to sell it for that amt, do i have a choice of not selling it, i set the bido price for 50 dollars now it's met, but i dn't want to give it away for that price, pls what do i do? i sent them a mail that i won't sell it at that price, but they've not replied meI'm sure you understood what "Bido price" meant before setting it. You can choose not to go on with the sale at the risk of getting your account closed. When you choosed to list your domain for auction, you agreed that you will abide by auction rules. Not going on now will be a violation of those rules. If you click the "Recent Sales" tab on Bido homepage, you'll find your domain there. Not selling will make them look stupid and will reduce buyers' trust in their marketplace. This is why all marketplaces frown against uncommitted buyers/sellers. |
Where is mikelreal? |
dotcom_na_me_na_me: Elliot confirmed it!I'm not talking of GoDaddy's acquisition of Afternic, I'm referring to the "Name.com 'acquisition' of Sedo" that 2sexy posted. It's a fake news. |
2sexy.us:I almost believed this until I got to know that DomainGang is a parody news service. It's a fawking fake news. |
dotcom_na_me_na_me: BREAKING NEWS: Afternic has agreed to be acquired by GoDaddy. That's good news for we Naija peeps o. Since GoDaddy accepts Nigerians, Afternic may eventually have to accept Nigerians under its new owners. *Dancing* |
That same reason why no Nigerian university will be on that list is being conspicuously displayed on this thread; students are not taught to think critically. Many people are just mentioning their school to make them feel good. If you'll mention your school, please tell us how it is better than a school in the top 100 and why your school should displace it. |
fxbot: where is the dude now? I wonder when you guys will stop falling for false sales? I know him and he created a threated last year that he would turn N500 into millions. No need for name-calling, I'll take your comment as a challenge and hope that everyone does the same. Thanks for telling me to work harder and smarter. |
UNILORIN, always leading the pack. A school where students are issued a private email address @unilorin.edu.ng in their first year. I still use mine. |
fxbot: A lot of noise makers here with one even making others more confused. No one has ever reported a single sales, non. But are hiding behind the farcade that they don't like revealing their sales. Bunch of liars!I share your view on sales reporting but I know for a fact that some people refusing to report their sales will not kill this thread. Even on NP, where you can find people who have been in this business for over 10 years, people kindly report their sales. The only thing that will make people not to report sales is when they sell at ridiculous prices (< $50). Anyway, somebody have reported his sale here before. The guy that sold zingyland for €1800 (if I'm right). |
mobiss: HI FELLOW DOMAINERS, PLS I NEED FAST RESPONSE TO THIS; HOW DO I CHANGE MY DOMAIN NAME SERVER ON BODIS.COM?You change your nameserver at Godaddy. Login - My account - Domain launch - click a domain - manage nameserver - select 'custom'. |
I don't why I am thinking in the opposite direction. Every graduate that cannot do something worthwhile for himself 10 years after graduation should be made to pay the government for wasting its tution-free education. |
Amalaha is a cretin; a product of a failed educational system. I never believed that some dumbheads will take this as a "ground-breaking research". SMH |
Eeyah! I never knew next year isn't going to come. |
@mobiss Maybe you should use a yahoo mail for registering your namepros account. I used a yahoo mail and it went fine. I've not used payza before so I can't answer your last question. |
mobiss: I av a friend in uk presently, can he help me open an account wt domainlore via my mail address?Yes sir. He will have to use his phone number for you. @dybaba You can't even open a domainlore account with a foreign IP because their verification requirement is that you send a text message to their phone number from the non-Naija phone number you used while registering with them. That is only possible with a Skype-out, as most call forwarding service don't give you the option of making call and sending text messages from your foreign number. |
Brillant. It's a worthy cause. |
RIP |
mobiss: can i make use of another visa ATM card for buying domains in my godaddy account? i.e ATM with another person's name, let say my brother now.Yes, you can make use of someone else's ATM card. I have use 2 cards that are not mine so far. The address doesn't matter as well. I would have loved to answer your last question but I don't use Africard. |
mintyx: yeah i did register that domain. i got an E-reciept after registration and it was there inside my panel yesterday. I was just not not happy when i logged in today into my goddady app in my phone, i went to my domain section and it was empty. I searched the domain and it was available and inside my Cart!. Still confusedMaybe you used a coupon that is not applicable to your region. Remember that "GoDaddy reserves the right to cancel any order if coupons are used inappropriately". Enter the coupon you used again and check the 'offer limitation' tab. Though I don't know how the mobile app works, every domain you buy should be in your account immediately. |
The prison walls always look like an art gallery with all kinds of inscriptions. He just got himself into a new gallery, simple. |
Jamji: @nk-love, oladayo042What happens if the auction ends with no bid? £5 gone down the drain. If I'll pay or let you pay £5 for an auction, I better be sure the name will sell. Don't list it. Thanks |
nk-love:What happens when it gathers enough vote and goes to auction. Two auctions for the same name just doesn't sound right. Worst case: somebody wins the auction at Domainlore while another person wins the auction at Bido. Who then get the domain? My advice Delete it from Bido while you can. |
mikelreal: Congrats, was it for free?Yes bro. I just gave him my login details for review, hoping to get the account number to pay the money into and he replied me that he has paid it. He surely has a large heart. On a particular thread, he gave 25 people N200 recharge card each as 2013 new year gift. Thank you Arbitrage. |
Good morning everyone, @Arbitrage just helped pay my listing fee on BB. Big ups to him. |
@Arbitrage Thank you sir, God bless you. |
