Gbawe: I will stake my name and reputation on my assertion that Buhari, by far, will be the best President Nigeria has had since our current elective democracy began in 1999. I have stated it many times that the President to deliver Nigeria would be an ascetic, principled, immaterialistic and very strong-willed individual who genuinely loves all Nigerians and is ready to give his all to them.
All Nigerians should patriotically get behind Buhari because you have never had a President who care for you and is ready to do his best to make sure you have better lives more than this man. Already, the quality of his decision-making, appointments, boldness and strategizing is obvious. Even hardcore Jonathanians, Tandroids and unrepentant Buhari haters will be behind the man in a years time.
To Diasporan Nigerians.
One of my associates was Sunny Ofili who is now deceased.
http://www.theneighbourhoodonline.com/news/othernews/3074-ofili%E2%80%99s-death-%E2%80%98very-painful%E2%80%99-delta-state-govt.html
I mention him because he was an intelligent and patriotic individual who was always insisting I come home to to do my bit in making Nigeria better. I never took him seriously because of the character of the Presidents we have had since 1999. I.e OBJ, Yar Adua and Jonathan. I will certainly get involved now under Buhari and I urge all other Nigerians in the diaspora, with unique ideas and something to contribute, to consider taking a leap of faith. I won't ask you to leave your diasporan base but I want you to take a greater interest in the administration of Nigeria. I say this because most of my friends in the UK are completely apathetic about Nigeria and cynically disinterested in the prospect of a great Nigeria because "we have heard it all before". All diasporan Nigerians need to do is commit to observing how Buhari is leading Nigeria. If you then see revolutionary decisions and changes Nigeria has never witnessed before then consider going home to contribute your expertise and skills which will help build a Nigeria our children will be proud of.
To all Nigerians. I think it can be said that "enough is enough" in the case of Nigeria. "Prehistoric" does not even properly quantify the conditions Nigerians live under. We will begin witnessing real change shortly. I urge all Nigerians who want our nation to be great to put sentiments aside. Embrace patriotism and optimism because real and quantifiable progress is here. It is the kind every Nigerians will see and feel. In the end my message is that we should give Buhari a chance and give him our support. I am fairly sure he will not let Nigerians down. I was once a strong supporter of this administration, actually APC and some individuals of the party, and I strongly campaigned for the party because I felt they would follow their manifesto- but I must say something, if they really wanted to right the wrongs of the past- so many things would have done within the first 180days of assumption - laws that would check the excesses of every individual holding public office in the executive, should have been put in place- and our S.A media or is it public relations, would have a podium from which they deliver what happens on a daily basis and not the hog wash they are treating us too- I must stress this, the level of nepotism in the land currently - na fire! And all the ministers, smaller DG's, executive secretaries, chairmen, have abrogated too much power to themselves- and they say no one can investigate them- to make matters worst- it's simply a silly situation |

Nairaland General › Religion Or Radicalism by olajide8(op): 7:26pm On Dec 19, 2017 |
At this juncture- my intent is not to fuel religious attacks but to state my personal opinion and point of view. There is a thin line between, radicalism/extremism and religion, the point where people start to challenge the status quo because of their personal beliefs is the point at which things start to go wrong- when boko haram started, it started with strong points of belief like this, not minding the fact that, this particular belief would later become a monster- it started from nysc where the standard dress code was bent to suit the few radicals, it has spread to other areas of the society, and it is them against the world "other belief systems. Are we Arabs? Or Africans? This same belief system is what is fueling the shiite movement in nigeria - this same belief system is what makes a person work out of a busy office at the height of business- leaving other people stranded to wait for him to come back from his personal communion, with his/her God, this same belief system is what fueled jihadism in schools in mid and late 90's For the best definition, I put it like this- * its either you take to my faith, or I would disturb you until you take to my faith* Finally I beg to say a nation without rules and regulations is simply another animal kingdom- and if there are rules and regulations and you can't follow them - leave the profession or our country for us, or go and read a course that would give you the freedom to wear whatever- at least islamic studies is there. http://punchng.com/controversy-over-law-graduates-insistence-on-hijab-for-bar-ceremony/ |
Family › Re: 'I Want To Cheat On My Runaway Husband' by olajide8(m): 6:09am On Dec 12, 2017 |
thelostchronicl: "Dear Nairalanders
My name is Buchi, a 28-year-old married. I must say that I am very unlucky in marriage as my husband who lives in Asia has been away for the past two years, leaving me all alone. I met Dominic through his sister who is my good friend. Mary had told me that her brother who had been out of the country for many years needed a wife as their family had been on his neck to come home and get married. They did not want him to get married to a foreigner and so, they were on the lookout for a wife for him, particularly an Igbo woman. I had been friends with Mary since our university days and she felt I would be the right woman for her husband. I was not particularly interested in an arranged marriage, especially to a man I knew nothing about. But Mary kept assuring me that Dominic was a good man and would make a good husband for me. Aside from that, she also told me he would take me abroad as soon as we got married. » I told her that I would like to hear from Dominic himself and after she sent him my number, he started calling me and we would speak for hours. We also connected on the social media and would spend the whole night chatting and exchanging pictures. Dominic changed my mind about dating someone I had never met before as he proved to be very caring. He would wake me up with his calls and text messages and before going to bed, he would call just to say good night. Gradually, I began to fall in love with him and would wait breathlessly for his calls just to hear his voice. Two years ago, he came to Nigeria and came to meet my parents. He wanted us to get married before going back and within two months, we got married and he left a month later. And for two years now, the man I got married to has made no attempt to come back. His calls have been infrequent, neither does he send me money like he used to do. It could take six months before Dominic would send me money and whenever I call, he would be evasive, telling me he would call and would go for weeks without calling. As if that is not enough, he has left me sex-starved and needing attention like every woman. When I tell Dominic that I am Hot, he would tell me to endure it just like he is doing but I know he has been sleeping with women wherever he is. There is this guy in my office who has been asking me out and with the way things are and the way I am sexually starved » , I am tempted to give this guy a chance, at least to have someone to satisfy my sexual urge. I have tried some intimacy gadgets but nothing can be as satisfying as having the feel of a real man inside of a woman. I know many people out there will say sex is not food but I am still a young woman and I have sexual urges too. I am married but it seems I am not. I need help fast. You want to hear the truth, maybe your guy is married to a white woman for citizenship and if he calls you, in the presence of his arrangee wife- he loses his citizenship, or maybe he has been in jail after his return back, for an illegal offence over there- you can't tell, you may be surprised that the money being sent to you is from your own friend using his name, just to cover up- and the calls he is doing is from the penitentiary free call system to families once in 3 months - if you cheat you wanted to cheat, and you have been eyeing the other dude- as this is, part of the package that comes with long distance relationships - dats all |

Let the country divide peacefully after which everyone can relocate!
You can't ask anyone to relocate when the division process has not been concluded, conclude it and see if any Igbo remains anywhere outside igboland!
If the north wants a breakup, they have their members in the HOR through which to channel their idealogies!
1)Why is the SW so scared of condemning the approach of the north towards secession as it did to NK led agitation, under the guise of "following due peaceful process",what are they scared of?
2)why can't the SW tell the north to represent their case through their members in the house of reps like they always tell igbos?
3)why haven't they threatened the north with war like they did to Igbos?
What are they scared of?
1. because this war mongering wasnt started by the SW- let the starters of the trouble carry their Problem, at least we know how much each region contributes to the nations IGR - 2. no portion of this country has the monopoly of holding the other to ransom, bearing in mind the fact thats biafra OR THE SPLIT is supported indirectly by all in the SE, both the elite and educated. the call for. 3. when did the SW threaten the igbos O! people should leave this state of selfishness. thats all |
