Good day nairalanders. Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I'll be brief.

While I was growing up I love playing football, I'm a very good defensive midfielder, I be correct number 6, I have always wanted to play for Nigeria and other big clubs. But my dreams becoming a footballer wasn't coming to reality so I have to focus on my business full time.

I work from mon - sat, while sundays are my free days but I don't go to church. I'm part of those people that plays ball on a Sunday morning, I'm 31 and I still dey play ball well, Infact from Saturday evening my friends have started calling me against tomorrow's match.

Although my girlfriend have persuaded me to start going to church but all to no avail. I can't remember the last time I went to church. Please note that I study my bible, I pray always, I help people around, I visit homes of the needy. But Its been a decade I went to church.

My girlfriend attends church very well, even weekly service. She is really mad at me, she has invited me to church several times but I would turn her down. Now she said she can't go on with our relationship, she don't want a situation whereby if we get married and other families are going to church with their husbands, that I will be in the streets playing ball, she want her marriage to be built on God's word... Bla Bla Bla

Now My Mother on the other hand, is putting pressure on me to go settle down. Everytime, your mates are married, give me grandchildren, do you want me to die before you marry, I didn't give birth to impotent children.

Guys, please note that my elder bro is married with 2 kids. Abeg no be grandchildren be that?? Why put pressure on me.

My mum receives the automated call with 01 number but in her case, they claim it's someone she knows that owes the money and the person is a defaulter, that if the person doesn't pay, she's liable and her bvn will b blocked.

I don’t get what people gain from exposing men and women of God who consented to Indulge in sex. If it is rape it’s a different thing. These people are human like us and can make mistakes.

Their local churches will handle this. Exposing some things about the body of Christ will reduce the faith if the world in the church . That’s why I love Catholic Church, whatever happens there stays there.

Not often will you hear about our brothers in other religion public or on social media discussing about their lmam on sexual vices.

My girlfriend is very good in sawing and she has always wanted to have a shop of her own where she can expand. She is still in school and supports her studies from the little sawing she does at home, the truth is she's very hard-working.

Should i take a risk and open a shop for her. I work and i earn 40k a month i can easily save up to 60k from now till January but am scared, I don't want to take a risk i will later regret in life.

Pls has any body faced this kind of situation before or heard of it and how was the outcome?

I'm dating an older woman. The difference in our ages is just 2 years. She is everything a man can ever dream of.

She's very supportive. Doesn't bother me and let's me do my thing. She doesn't boss me or anything of sorts. She's also very independent, but the only thing that stresses me out is our age difference and it's quite obvious cause i even look quite younger than my age and she's quite matured both physically and mentally.

Are there any cons to marrying a lady that is older? Guys who are married to older ladies, are there any traits i should look out for ?

Seven months have passed since ASUU embarked on strike. These 7 months have gone on rather uneventfully with the lockdown taking the better part of the seven months and the recent #EndSars protests last month.

With the year coming to an end and the loss of job that accompanied the lockdown, other sources of income now seem to be the only income which brings me to the aim of this post.

Students have been home for these past months with little or nothing to do as most establishments are not hiring due to the financial hit on their businesses. Ordinarily, a session should be closing and rent for student lodges would most likely be due for payment. I just wonder where this leaves them and their landlords who would soon begin to ask for rent payments.

Losing 7months+ of their rents and probably more (since the ASUU strike is still on) is not wonderful thing. But rental agreements stated anyways that their rent is due on a said date signed prior to payment. It wouldn't be a subject to debate if these students utilized this rooms paid for during the past 7+ months plus. Paying for more time that mightn't be used is another thing to worry about.

I'm just wondering if it is possible for them and their landlords to find a middle ground. After all the landlords built those hostels and lodges for financial gains.

NB: Please bear in mind that not all federal universities have the capacity to provide accommodation for all her students.
