This is pure nonsense. It looks like the story is gradually becoming true. In the first place, he should not have anything to do with such person judging by is lifestyle and online frivolity. A public office holder of his calibre is meant to be above board in all remification.

With what I am seeing, there is a level of relationship between other of them. How on earth will you have the fashion designer deliver the cloth to your office? Of he can send money to Nigeria, can he send a contact to have the stuff delivered to? Better still, he should have shipped it directly to Dubia where I stays.

Solving a problem in Lagos will create a big problem in Ibadan.amd other South west states. Obviously, these guys will move to other states especially Ibadan thereby complicating the fragile security situation in Ibadan.

I hope the oto state government would begin to develop models to mitigate this.

Hello Good people. I am planning to apply for UK standard Visit visa In three months. I am applying as a Salary earner with decent salary of #350,000 which I have started lodging in the account about three months ago.

The account details I am proposing is first amy salary account but also serves as my everyday account since I use it for my other businesses like payment of Bills, settlement of workers, recharge card purchase etc.

However, my conclusion from the thread indicates that any account to be used for this occasion should be a dedicated salary account.

Am I right or just a misunderstanding of the process?
Kindly advise.

I need your take on this. Is there anything like diplomatic visa for non diplomatic member.

I had an argument with someone yesterday that obviously, diplomatic visa real, but for someone who is not a part of a diplomatic mission, that can't be possible. I argued that the system is now so sophisticated that they Oyinbo can't be fooled with this in the 21st century.

That even if it does, the whole deceit will be detected at the point of entry. In my heart, my argument was not convincing as I dont have real life evidence to corroborate my claims. I just have this absolute trust in the system of the of the US embassy to detect deceit.

Can anyone shed more light on this. Or does anyone has a real life experience on it. The guy said it is a Visiting diplomatic visa.

I applied for mine just yesterday. I indicated they send electronically to my receiver. Transcript request has now been made easy, as you there is a platform which works directly with your institution on your behalf. Ext.ng. I paid 8,880 online ( you can only get such deal in OAU) and my payment was confirmed immediately.

I hope they attend to it fast, as I just learnt that NASU are currently on strike. You guys can google

Please do not get involved because of the above alone. Get involved because you’re the project director. Even though you don’t know everything about building, this forum and others can help you achieve your building project without worries.

Don’t be forward. Try and work with your engineer. I’d rather work with an engineer on the build route (owner managed, contractor managed or owner-contractor managed)/scope of work than going on a full-fledged contract.

To your question about stages of work, here’s something you should be on the look out for (foundation to roofing only) if you want to avoid surprises. No technical jargons

We are working on a project management checklist at kobocity.com for self builders and homeowners who want to be directly involved in their project. Once it’s ready, I’ll update this platform.

Hello my people.

I am planning to build a four bedroom bungalow in Ibadan. The project will be starting in a short time. I actually want to equip myself with the stages involved in the process from start to finish as I dont want to look like a novice around the engineer.

Can someone take me through the processes. For the foundation, I have already offloaded the following at the site.

30tons of Sharp sand
20 tons of granite (it looks like the granite is the upper type, can it serve the purpose)
40 bags of cement
I am thinking of buying 500pcs. Can it be enough for the foundation?

What other materials do I need to provide?
I currently dont have the floor plan but experienced builders here can still give me a near estimate. It is a simple four bed, all in suit. Open kitchen, and a study.

I will be looking forward to reading form you.
