Seems like someone somewhere is afraid of Hajia or her husband. If not, arrest these people and let them explain what they know from the gallows. Justice for the poor girl.

If you did not see Enyimba's 1st goal, you need to see it. An absolute belter! Probably the best goal in the world this weekend.

If Dr Khalifa died at age 54, add 5 and 4, you get 9! 9 is a special number because it is the square of 3. So add that 3 to 54, you get 57. BINGO. 57 divided by that 3 gives you, you know it 19! Did I just perform a miracle?
Islam › Re: A Call To Faith by olapluto(m): 8:20am On Sep 08, 2011
Dr Khalifa died age 54. That is 2.842*19! Usisky, you need to realize that knowledge can be a fitna on its own. An American PHD holder from Egypt thinks because 19 angels guard the fire then 19 is the seal of his 'messangership'. I personally found the video ridiculous and highly refutable.
I do not think you can use science as it is taught in America to ever attempt to remove an ayat in the Quran! The Quran is absolutely complete and the theory postulated by Dr Khalifa immediately fails a simple test of logic in science.
For example, if in my research I found a consistent behavior in 99.9998% of my specimen, then I should never ever claim it is 100% by discarding the 0.0002% as being lies. It is called cheating. Religion has to be 100% perfect if it is ABSOLUTELY from Allah.
I want to promise you Usisky, that anyone can be mischievious with numbers. Your video conveniently picks and uses verses or even parts of verses to justify your miracle of 19! May Allah help you! You have done nothing to impress me with this kind of video. By manipulating Lunar dates to suit your obsession with 19 makes it even more ridiculous.
Moreover, this should be a big warning to fellow Muslims studying in the 'west'. We are made to take in so many garbage for exam purposes that if we ever try to apply it to religious reasoning, then we will fail before Allah. Religion is not common sense. Islam has been taught by the unlettered prophet, so I do not need an American phd holder to teach me my deen thank you.
Islam › Re: Abrogation Of Quranic Verses(the Greatest Lie Against Quran) by olapluto(m): 6:36pm On Sep 07, 2011
Haven said the above, I do not think we can practice Islam without the hadiths. I will like to ask Usisky how he prays. If he prays according to the way Mohammed SAW prays, then where does he get that principle from? Quran or Hadith?
Islam › Re: Abrogation Of Quranic Verses(the Greatest Lie Against Quran) by olapluto(m): 4:52pm On Sep 07, 2011
Very thoughtful presentation by Usisky. I dont think any Muslim(a) should ever have to be torn between the Quran and the Hadiths. If ever a situation arises, then the Quran should be the only source and standard. However, what I think is that some verses in the Quran can be intellectually challenging to anyone (except Mohammed(SAW)). Hence, the reason we should take it as it is.
Politics › Re: SSS And Northern Leaders Deal Exposed? by olapluto(m): 12:01am On Sep 07, 2011
Justice for all is the only thing that can solve Nigeria's problems. We need to start killing the killers and sparing the innocent. If the people released have committed no offence, then SSS is right to release them and monitor them. It is obvious SSS is not monitoring them as well as they should, hence the reason for further radicalization. Being an extremist does not warrant arrest, carrying out extremist acts does.
I think its time to break the truce (if any), and start prosecuting anyone found guilty of taking innocent lives be it Northerner or Southerner. When we start doing this, there will be some decency within the system.
Jos will continue to boil until examples are made on both sides. Let them arrest the next Berom to kill a Fulani and execute him publicly and arrest the next Fulani that kills a Berom and do the same.
However, its unfortunate that some people (even law enforcers) pay more allegiance to their region than to Nigeria. It is unfortunate that this ethnic/tribal allegiances will be our undoing at the end of the day.

How do we know who's a cleric and who's not? People just mention 'alfa' alfa alfa. If I watched this video while fasting, I will encounter abit of porn. This man cant be a cleric. Allah knows best, but this is what brothers in MSSN and Islamic fora in Nigeria need to be looking into. This is where they should channel their jihad. Islam is being grossly misrepresented. The 20th century alfas in Lagos are really something else.

Nigerian men OUT of the volleyball championship after losing to Algeria 3-0. Kenya however continues her dominance of the sports beating Nigerian women 3-1. Both had already qualified for semi finals coming up tomorrow. Nigerian women face their Algerian counterpart in one of the semi finals tomorrow and a win will guarantee Nigeria at least a silver medal.
Nigerian men however will play the host Mozambique for placing.

Swimming starts today. South Africa looking to match their record of being top in Africa with 25 gold last time out in Algiers 2007. They have not come with the strongest swimmers but I do not see them missing out on top spot here. Nigeria will be 'intruding' with any medal.

Sports › All Africa Games- Maputo 2011. Updates Here by olapluto(op): 10:22pm On Sep 04, 2011
While the world has been focusing on Daegu for World Athletics Champs, a bigger sports event is taking place in Africa. It is the African Olympics. The games officially kicked off yesterday in Maputo, and so far, South Africa has won 4 medals at least. Nigeria should normally hit the medals table soonest even though our stronger sports were 'omitted' by the organizers. Anyone with news or updates can post it here.
I can confirm that Nigerian Female volleyball team has qualified for the semi final and one win from a sure medal.
The male counterpart lost to Kenya in their opening match and have recovered with a win in their 2nd game.
Nigeria's high medal hopes are in the Female sprints, Relay, Table tennis (Toriola/Merotoun still going strong), we have a few promising Boxers even though female boxing isnt allowed yet.
BTW A promising female boxing talent to watch out for is Kehinde Obareh in the 60kg category. A very lovely lady who isnt being fully supported by Nigerian govt.
Sports › Re: Why Jamaica Doing Well Than Nigeria - Track/field Event by olapluto(m): 10:08pm On Sep 04, 2011
Many reasons. Management, Age cheating, FOOTBALL, and lack of interest.
Management: Our Athletes arent been looked after properly, hence the best are been snapped up by foreign countries. Philip Idowu won silver in T.Jump. We no longer develop athletes from secondary school
Age cheating: Our 'YOUNG' athletes are actually aged. We cannot develop younger ones becos the agbayas have taken over
Football: Most talents prefer to go into football. Ahmed Musa is an example. Am very sure Ahmed Musa can read 100m final if well coached. Uchenna Emedolu won our last 100m medal at a world champs. He quit footy!
Lack of interest, and Tribalism (I wont mention much on this today)
Pride: Anyone who watched our female relay race in 4 X 100m will notice that there was a big flop in the last leg. Everyone knows that Damola Osayomi should have anchored that leg. She is a reactive runner. Though Blessing Okagbare reached final of 100m, she is not reactive as her technique and height arent really supportive of the drive. Okagbare would have been best used in 2nd lap where Osayomi ran. Anyone who likes to know more should see the video of the last Olympic 4X100m female. Osayomi got the baton 6th and ended 3rd! Today Okagbare got the baton 4th and ended 8th!

Travel › RAF Fighter Jet Escort Nigerian Aircraft After Radio Failure by olapluto(op): 2:29pm On Aug 30, 2011
Hard times for Nigeria indeed. We are now increasing our profile in terms of security suspect. May the Almighty God help us as a nation.
A plane from the Nigerian Air Force has had to be escorted into Cambridge Airport by two RAF fighter jets.

Typhoon fighter jets were scrambled to escort a Nigerian aircraft into Cambridge after its radio failed.

On Saturday, in mid air on his way to have the 30-year-old C-130 Hercules undergo a major servicing at Marshall, the pilot realised he was cut off.

The pilot managed to alert French authorities by changing its transponder code, so an escort of French planes was sent up.

Once across the Channel the aircraft was met and taken to Cambridge Airport by two RAF Typhoons, usually deployed as armed guards.

On the same day a Canadian Air Force plane – an Aurora Maritime Patrol Aircraft of No 405 Squadron – landed in Cambridge before it took part in The Little Gransden Children in Need Day yesterday. Archie Garden, airport director, met it and presented the the crew with a cheque for £500 for Children in Needs as a thank you for using Cambridge Airport.

Terry Holloway, spokesman for Marshall, said the stricken Hercules and its crew were never in any danger. He said: "The age of the plane had nothing to do with the radio failing.

"That just happens sometimes.

"Luckily what the pilot did was absolutely correct and having the French aircraft and Typhoons escort it was purely precautionary."

Ignoring the result, I see a more positive Arsenal side. It may look all doom and gloom, but ANY team can have their bad days. Surely the break is coming at a right time, and with the suspended players all coming back, I think Arsenal can only go up.

Family › Re: Advice Pls by olapluto(m): 11:46pm On Aug 26, 2011
Madam poster, PLEASE do not leave this man! You havent said any tangible reason to make me think he is not a good husband. UK is tough at the mo, and to be honest with you, only a lucky few manage to be employed. However, that does not give an excuse for any man to be LAZY. However, joblessness is not laziness. Your husband may be jobless, but he certainly is doing alot for you. You look at the material aspect, forgetting the emotional aspects. Think of the days you had a bad day at work and got home for him to make everything look/seem calm. Think of the days you needed serious advice and he offered it at no price. Think of the day you were proud to be a mother. He didnt accept money for all that. His joblessness is an opportunity for you to build a brilliant life ahead.
No man is stupid. He sees all your efforts. The time you will reap it is close, but you just want to ruin it due to a rush of blood. You need to look around you in this UK and see how the life of women who did similar things ended. Your husband is not a cheat, he doesnt beat you, he cares about you and your baby. Yoruba say : Itelorun loba iwa. You need to wake up every morning and thank God for giving you a good husband. Pray for him. 8 yrs is nothing! Some women feed their husbands for over 20 years and  no one hears or knows about it, not even their grown up children. Women like that end up enjoying the later days of their marriage. I want you to think of the end and not the beginning. When you re-marry, whats the assurance that your new husband will tick all boxes? Think!

Education › Re: A B.sc In Chemistry - Work Opportunity by olapluto(m): 6:56pm On Aug 25, 2011
A BSc in Chemistry can take you to many places. I will say you can work almost everywhere. More specifically, you can work in the following industries:
1. Pharmaceutical industry: you can work in many areas here. You can start in formulation, drug design, drug metabolism, even toxicology.
2. Agro-chemical industry: same as pharma, but mostly not human related except maybe in metabolism studies.
3. Medicine: you can do many jobs as an analytical chemist here.
4. Regulatory: NAFDAC and co,
5. Law enforcement: Most of forensic analysis involves chemistry. You can be a CSI! (crime scene investigator) if you do more top-up courses.
6. Radiochemicals: a wide range of jobs available here. If you live in advanced countries, nuclear disarming is a hot job prospect now. High risk due to abnormal radiation levels, but high pay.
7. Research: This is what I find most interesting. You can spend the rest of your life doing it and never regret it. You are allowed to use your brain and dig deep.
8. Academics: Lecturing in a wide range of fields.
All these depend largely on your kind of BSc.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Have Libyans Made A Huge Mistake By Removing Gaddafi? by olapluto(m): 5:00pm On Aug 24, 2011
'Alakisa to n jo loru, ope oya, ile a mo lola'. The man in rags who dances in the middle of the night should realise that it will soon be dawn! Libyans will get to a point they will realize how much they have sent their country back in development indices. You invite NATO to help you quash a leader in your country? NATO invests millions in bombs and airforce, and you really expect that they wont take back what they invested in 100 folds? Libya will be a lesson for all in how to remove a leader. I smiled yesterday when I saw a 'Libyan' destroying the statue of the crushed American fighter jet. I wonder what he was really crushing! Ghadaffi or Libyan victory?
I wish them all the best. Now Libyans can start entering UK from the back of a lorry through Calais. They can now start to apply to seek asylum. Exactly what NATO calls democracy. And there is NO WAY BACK for Libya now. They have joined the league of nations under American control. Nigeria has always been like that. Aso Rock is the real American embassy.
Politics › Re: Nigeria Urges Gaddafi To Quit by olapluto(m): 4:12pm On Aug 23, 2011
Nigeria is in trouble with this Jonathan government. This is straight from Whitehouse and Whitehall. The game plan is simple: Shock Tripoli invasion, get media rolling news of Ghadaffi defeats (plus arrests), get many more countries endorsing the rebels. I'm very sure it was an email from a very junior officer in the US secretary of state office that got our own Joe boy making senseless endorsements. It is foreign relations blunders like this that makes me cringe.
Yesterday, Mr Cameron of Britain goofed when he came out boldly (with some vindicative pomposity) to say 2 of Gadaffi's sons are in custody. I do not know much about Gaddafi, but I see alot of inexperience in Nigeria's new stance. I wonder if Jonathan knows that the rebels have long been accusing Ghadaffi of using so many NIGERIAN snipers! What this means is that any Nigerian caught out in Libya is up for death! Al-Jazeera once showed a Nigerian passport as haven been found on a Ghadaffi mercenary. The passport showed a lady from Benin City. The Nigerian foreign office kept silent on that. We are losing it on many fronts as Nigerians. We are no longer respected anywhere. We have long sided the Palestinians in their UN statehood bid. But here comes Jonathan Goodluck, with some little persuasions, he is now considering lining up behind the USA as a supporter of Israel. These events make one thing inevitable: Nigeria will get so messed up that a revolution will become inevitable. I say well done to the puppets in Abuja.
