Last night brought the best of UK politics in many ways. As it is parliamentary system, each district elects its own reps. The requirement to become a candidate is very simple, just nominate yourself and choose a party.

1. Yes there are no evidence that people are not born gay. There needs not be that kind of argument anyways. Evolution is the best answer for that. Put 10 committed gays and 10 committed lesbians on an isolated island and see how many generations they live. Do same for heterosexuals and record the results.
2. There are many correlations between homosexuality and mental illness. By the definitions of mental illness, homosexuality has always ticked most of the boxes for mental illness. In fact, for male homosexuality where sodomy is the drive, there is tendency for paedophilia. Most gay men tick the box. The fact that the gay man needs fresh supply of 'tight' holes for sodomy will drive them to molest children.

There is no debate. There is wishful thinking and there is scientific facts. As a researcher, you can postulate anything. It doesnt mean you will have enough empirical findings to back it up. As much as homosexuals (especially western governments) want to blackmail science into providing a proof for being 'born gay', there is still no single study, or even a review of favourable studies that support the born gay notion. What we have had is unverifiable claims and non repeatable experiments that have always been refuted by more factual science. For example, I read a study few years ago about children raised by gays and lesbians being more intelligent. The researchers conducted a series of interviews with the lesbian parents and asked questions like : Do you think children raised by lesbians will be smarter than others? duh! I mean what answers did they expect? Suffice to say the study was headlined on cable news worldwide with such a fickle research method.

The way people conclude on certain things is disturbing, just because you weren't born gay doesn't mean the next person isn't born gay. maybe your gay activities were influenced by environment but some people were born in such a way they are only attracted to their sex or both sexes. most gays even display characters that suggest this from childhood, some guys that display girl-like characters turn out to be homosexual and same for girls too.

I always tell people if pastors say gays are demon possessed they should go and find gays around the world and cast out those demons or else forever remain silent, it is pathetic that because Nigeria is a over religious country we applaud anti-gay laws. if only you feel the way these people feel, someone denying you the privilege of your sexual orientation and all that. its just like black people centuries ago when whites denied that we are just as human as they are and used this lie to justify slavery and subject us to animal-like conditions. if you feel bad when someone calls you a monkey, you shouldn't relegate gays.

There is actually no genuine scientific publication that explicitly states that people are born 'gay' or 'lesbian'. The few studies that gave such insinuations have been flawed by scientific facts. As a science researcher myself, I am of the opinion that being 'born gay' cannot be proven, and should not need to be proven. Homosexuality is a behavior, earlier researchers call it a mental disorder, and I kind of agree. The whole 'born this way' argument was used by homosexuality activists in the late 80s and early 90s. After over 20 years of pressured scientific researches, the American Psychiatric Association released this in year 2000:

“Currently, there is a renewed interest in searching for biological etiologies for homosexuality.However, to date there are no replicated scientific studies supporting any specific biological etiology for homosexuality.”

We all have the resources to educate ourselves on this issue, although it is inevitable that the media will only publish results that fit their narratives. If I publish a watery article on being born gay tomorrow, I can be guaranteed an interview on BBC within a week, even if the whole article is just hypothetical guess work with no empirical evidence.
In fact, nowadays, homosexual activists are deviating from the born this way argument because it has served its purpose in the West and recent scientific researches find it to be completely unproven.
