Can someone give me an advice? Sorry for the bad english onwards, but I think I really need one as of now. Lately, I noticed that my girlfriend had lots of calls on her phone, and when I ask who is it, she always hungs it up quickly and she said it's one of her friends/business contacts. I also noticed that recently, she goes home in our rented apartment late, and when I ask why was she late, she always tell me that she went overtime because of her team building meet, although when I checked her slip, she had no overtime fee and I was a bit suprised since as far as I know, they didn't had any team building meets since 3 months ago. So, I went to her boss and asked about this, but her boss said that they only did team building meets only one time with her co-office mates a long time ago (which confirms that I was right), and as an extra, she's been absent on that meet, and her boss told me that she's been absent in her work a couple of days as well. The next day, she went out and told me she'll be attending her "urgent team building meet", so, keeping a distance, I followed her with my motorbike, and not far away from our place, a man fetched her on his car. I stopped my motorbike from a distance to make sure they won't hear me and observed them, and when they were going to drive out, I was about to follow then but when I start the engine, it died on me. So I want to ask for advice, where would the problem be? Is it the spark plugh that caused the starting to fail, or is it on the main engine? The clutch, perhaps? Please give me a good advice. Thanks for noticing. |

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday raised alarm that fraudsters have cloned the mobile telephone numbers of the acting chairman of the commission, Ibrahim Magu, to extort money from unsuspecting public. A statement by the EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said the fraudsters have made calls to prominent personalities in the country and close associates of the anti-graft agency boss. “It has become necessary to alert the general public to the activities of fraudsters who have been impersonating the acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ibrahim Magu, and extorting money from members of the public under various guises. “A few weeks after the commission raised the alarm over the activities of a syndicate which opened a Facebook account in the name of the EFCC boss and began soliciting for friendship from prominent individuals and all manner of favours using the platform; another group has cloned the telephone numbers of the acting chairman. “The latest group has been making calls to close contacts of the anti-graft Czar and other prominent personalities demanding for huge sums of money using various pretexts. “Members of the public are hereby warned to disregard any call supposedly from the EFCC Chairman asking for payments to be made either to nominated proxies or accounts as such calls do not emanate from Ibrahim Magu. “For the avoidance of doubts, the EFCC Chairman, indeed all officials of the agency, do not solicit for nor accept payments/gratification from persons or organisations under any guise. “Member of the public are enjoined to report anyone claiming to be acting on behalf of the acting chairman or other officials of the EFCC at any of the commission’s offices in Abuja, Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Kano, Gombe, Ibadan and Maiduguri or the nearest police station,” the statement added. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/more-news/201340-fraudsters-clone-efcc-chairmans-telephone-numbers-extort-money.html |
INDONESIAN POLICE BURN 3.3 TONS OF WEED; GET ENTIRE TOWN HIGH The police of Palmerah—which is sub-district of West Jakarta—accidentally got their residents high as kites when they burned a 3.3-ton pile of marijuana. A number of residents—including journalists—in the Indonesian neighborhood reported feeling dizzy, headaches and intoxicated when the plume of smoke blew into their streets. Some of the police wore masks when they set the weed ablaze, but forgot to mention to the folks in surrounding the areas that the smoke may affect them, too. They basically gave an entire town a contact high. Oops. http://dangerousminds.net |

The Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, has directed the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 7, Ballah Nasarawa, to relocate to Kaduna State to tackle the incessant kidnappings and other violent crimes in the state. The IG also directed that police officers who had served in the state command for a period of six years and above be transferred out of the command with corresponding replacement. There has been a number of high-profile abductions in the state in the last two weeks, resulting in the death of two of the victims. Those abducted within the period include an Army Colonel, Samaila Inusa, a director in the Dangote Group, Mansur Ahmed and three clerics, Revs. Emmanuel Dziggau, Yakubu Dzarma, Ilya Anto and one Afolabi Alega. Four of the victims survived to tell the tale, while Inusa and Anto were murdered by their captors. Arase in a statement by the Force Public Relations Officer, Bisi Kolawole on Monday, admonished the AIG to evolve new intelligence-gathering and crime-fighting techniques and methodologies to suit the local challenges in the state. He also charged the AIG to devise means of halting the incessant kidnapping as well as other forms of crimes and criminality, especially in Jere, Kagarko Local Government Area of the state. The IG equally directed the Commissioners of Police in Kogi State Command and his counterpart in FCT to improve on the surveillance network and high police visibility in their respective commands, especially along Abuja-Lokoja-Okene and Kabba-Owo axis, to check the incessant criminal activities in the areas. “The IG assured the citizenry of the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to their safety, noting that the police in cooperation with other security agencies will continually ensure strategic responses towards eliminating any threat to internal security of the nation,” the statement said. Meanwhile, the Nigeria Police Force has organised a pre-retirement seminar for police personnel who were about retiring from service where they were educated about opportunities in entrepreneurship, agro-business, the service industry and small and medium scale sector. Arase said the objective of the seminar was to prepare the officers for life after service by ensuring that the participants were well equipped to support themselves and their families in retirement. The IG, represented by the AIG Intelligence, James Caulcrick, stated that the seminar which was organised in collaboration with the Nigeria Entrepreneur Forum, would challenge the participants to be resourceful and generate incomes for a better post-service life. http://www.punchng.com/kidnapping-ig-orders-mass-transfer-of-kaduna-policemen/ |
As part of efforts to ensure the realization of a target of N45bn as its annual Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, the Kaduna State Government has announced its decision to impose tax on petty traders such as those frying beans cake (Akara) as well as traders selling tomotoes and other petty items. The Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, KADIRS, Mallam Muktar Ahmed, who disclosed this on Monday, stated that those involved in petty sales would make their payment based on what he called “presumptive tax”according the size of their business and sales. He revealed that there had been meetings with unions and business groups to that effect. Mallam Ahmed also disclosed that N20bn was targeted to be generated from the MDAs while N25bn is targeted to be generated from the state internal service. The Chairman, while briefing newsmen in Kaduna, added that, “It is no longer news that the dip in the nation’s oil earnings has affected allocations from the federal account, this scenario has been on for months foisting a serious crunch on federal, state and local government allocations. “Consequently, it has become pertinent for states to take on the issue of Internally Generated Revenue, IGR, seriously as it is the only way to cushion the effects of falling federal allocations and for states to be self-sustaining.” He stressed that in view of the set target and the promise of delivering dividends of democracy to the good people of Kaduna State, the Governor, upon assumption of office, hit the ground running by setting up a committee headed by Mrs Ifueko Omogui Okauru , a seasoned tax administrator and one time Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, FIRS, who was mandated with the task of reviewing the tax and revenue generating mechanism in the state in order to widen the tax net and also collect all potential revenues within the state http://dailypost.ng/2016/04/04/igr-tomatoes-akara-sellers-to-pay-tax-as-kaduna-government-targets-n45bn-annually/?utm_source=dlvr.it_dp1&utm_medium=facebook |

Angry soldiers Thursday prevented the Ag General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 7 Division, Maiduguri, Brigadier-General Victor Eziegwu in a remote Borno village when he went there in a helicopter to address them. The soldiers who are drawn from 154 and 155 TF Battalions were used to dislodge Boko Haram terrorists who were occupying Alagarno, a remote Borno town and were allegedly left there without food and water. A source close to the angry troops said, “Though Alagarno has been taken over by soldiers after a fierce battle with the insurgents, the terrorists planted mines around the town and as I am talking to you now, they have blocked all routes to the village. We have no food and water and the only means to enter Alagarno is by air. No vehicle can go in and out now because of the mines and insurgents surrounding the town. “Instead of them to use helicopters to supply us water and food as they did when mines were planted along Bama to Banki road and our soldiers were cut off in Banki, the GOC used a helicopter to come and address us over irrelevant issues and warning us unnecessarily rather than address issues bordering on our welfare. “When he finished addressing us and was about leaving, soldiers blocked the helicopter and forced the pilot to come out of it. So many things happened in between before he was able to leave much later. I do not know if serious damage was done on the helicopter,” the source said. Responding to a text message sent to him seeking for confirmation on the story, Deputy Director, Army Public Relation of 7 Division, Maiduguri, Col Mustapha Anka said he does not have details as he did not receive any official briefing on the matter. “It is rumour I have been hearing. We are passing through so many huddles that you did not know because you are not part of us. We really need media cooperation to boost the morale of our troops. That is very essential at this time. This is a critical moment,” he said. Read more at http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/news/general/angry-soldiers-block-release-goc-over-food-water-shortage/140532.html#usD1UytZrbfIyHRf.99 |

I pray and hope the Nigerian Army and security intelligence unit fish out the perpetrators of this evil act May his soul rest in peace |
