Why blame a political party that they don’t share power with when the Minister of Petroleum for the past 7 yrs is left blameless! The so called APC youth leader has conveniently forgotten that his principal said the redesigned Naira notes, a policy of his own party, is also sabotage against him! I’d like to see him on Arise Tv to say who exactly is sabotaging who. Maybe when Rufai Oseni interviews him we might just discover again that fuel tankers are also missing their way into private residences in Lagos too!

I understand the new naira policy was created to curb corruption and vote buying but its a move that can have unwanted side effects.

Rural areas are regarded as abodes of superstition, poverty, lethargy, low income and low productivity. No one is dropping into poverty there, they’re already poor! The stockpiling of cash is not a practice of rural dwellers either, but the political class in the urban centers who are crying now because they’re the ones mostly affected by the policy. The pros far outweigh the cons if it’ll at the very least help to ensure credible elections in the coming polls.
