Nice one. God bless you. |
Nice one. See you at the top God's grace. |
Happy for you but do you have to bring it to the social media? |
Touching. However, the way soldiers treat the civilian is terrible. If only they can be fair and just, non partisan and not tribalistic, that will be a great victory for the nation and a big step in the right direction. This applies to all the military, paramilitary, police and you mention it. |
Happy for the family especially the mother but why post it? |

Thumbs up for the men in uniform. They have done so much, sacrificed so much. We celebrate you and wishes you a wonderful Christmas and new year. Keep the flag flying and learn to respect civilians and value their lives. The labour of our heroes past, present and future shall not be in vain. |
This is not common. Thank you. God bless you. |
Na by force. |
Error. All we need is a free and fair, peaceful and good economy where naira is strong like pounds, there is welfare for the unemployed and unemployable, job and things are affordable. Where workers are paid living wage and everyone is equal. We don't need any committee to fight hunger. With the above, hunger will die naturally. |
A beautiful love story. |
This is time bomb. |
Doff my hat. Congrats sir and to the family. |
I weep for my country. |
E ku orire. |
It is definitely not for civil servant on 30k minimum wage to use. They can't even afford the economy class!! Imagine the father, wife and a kid going to ibadan. The low cost housing is not affordable for the civil servant, the train is not for them! How will they not steal if they have the chance? |
At least we will stop depending on oyinbos for refined crude oil. We will now depend on Dangote. |
Great. Kudos to the Law students. Hope other student bodies will follow suit. ASUU is selfish. Simple. If today the federal government dump IPPIS for the one ASUU desired which will help cover all their atrocities, they will go back to class. It simply means they are fighting for their pockets and want their own share of the national cake. It is so sad. The question is 'at what cost'? May God have mercy on Nigeria. |
Happy Birthday sir. Many happy returns of the day? Regard to madam. |
Very wrong. The local automobile industry too short up their game and make their products to be globally competitive. They should not wait for the government to compel and gag Nigerians buy their products even if substandard. Enough of all the pampering. If the product is okay, they have the whole world as their prospective market. |
God bless the RRS Officers. They are really making us proud. There is hope for our beloved country. |
What is he doing with convoy anyway. Shooting is not the first thing if your convoy is blocked. May God comfort the family of the late vendor, put an end to bloodsheding in our land and heal our nation in Jesus name. |
This is sad. Why can't our own refineries work? Every other refinery in the world is working except the one in Nigeria. |
God is your strength sir. I know the journey is not today o and God's will must definitely come to pass. |
Congratulations sir. God will continue to uphold and strengthen you in Jesus name. |
3 MAJOR WAYS OF SPREADING THE MESSAGE OF LOVE OF GOD Ernest Gordon in his biography said, "It was in 1943. I was a prisoner of war (POW) and together with others we build a railway in the jungle along the river Kwai to get to Burma. As we made our way along the tracks we had become accustomed to seeing the natives treat us with indifference or contempt. One day, however, we arrived in a village where the people approached us so differently that we were supprised. One could see compassion in the eyes of those who lined the route to watch us march past. We had not even passed through to the other side when they returned loaded with cakes , bananas, eggs, medicine and money which they placed in our hands. "Later we learnt that the entire village had become Christians. The light of Christianity had shone in that corner of the jungle - thanks to a woman missionary who had managed to continue her work at the start of the war before fleeing. "These brief contacts with the world outside were a happy reminder that a more humane way of life still existed. Without a word being spoken, the message of Christianity had been communicated to us." Ernest Gordon became a Christian through the Christian villagers who referred him to the Bible through their attitudes. With reference to this case, we need to study the three ways of spreading message of love of God. First it is instructive to note that the central theme of Christianity is love, going by what the Bible says in John 3:16 which says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.". The followings are the ways of spreading this message: 1. Through Teaching The Word Of God: It is important to note the missionary efforts of the woman before the start of the war in the story. She fulfilled the instructions of Jesus Christ who said in Mark 16:15-16 that Christians should go into all and preach the gospel to everyone." If the missionary had not gone to spread the Gospel in the village, Ernest Gordon may not find Jesus through the attitudes of the villagers. 2. Through Attitude Of Love: Again, if the villagers did not show love to the prisoners war by giving them food items and other things, they would not have known the difference Christianity and secularism or religions. Thus Jesus gave Christians a new commandment in John 13:34-35, saying that they should love one another. Through this, all will know that they are His disciples. 3. Through Obedience To The Word Of God: The villagers were able to preach the gospel without even saying a word to the prisoners through their attitudes and obedience to Jesus Christ Who said in John 8:31, "... If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed." I pray that we shall receive the grace to follow Jesus and spread the message of love of God in Jesus' name. |
I may be wrong but what I have observed is ASUU look down on civil servant. They said the government should not compare them with civil servant. If they are not civil servant, what are they? I respect the lecturers so much but I believe everyone is special in their own way. As the academic staffs are important, so the non academic staff and other civil servant. Yes, we want qualitative education for our youth, same applies to health, water, electricity, housing, road, food and so on. Everybody is important and ASUU should stop feeling like Robin Hood. There can't be qualitative education if you are hungry and sick. There can't be quality education without electricity, water, good accommodation and so on. ASUU need NASU for the university system to work. Everybody is important and evebody should be recognized. ASUU is putting the future of our youth in danger. ASUU members are not more important than the nursery, primary and secondary school teachers. They build on the foundation those one laid. ASUU and the higher institutions also give you a foundation in a field which you still have to go into the field and build on. There are many people excelling who did not go to the university or any higher institution. As much as we appreciate ASUU so much, there should be limit to every excesses. It is not the fauit of ASUU, it is the fault of a failed system. Private university lecturers don't go on strike because it is a working system. I may be wrong but I think ASUU is holding not only the government to ransom but the whole country and yet they will collect the full pay for a job they did not do!! Is that integrity? Collecting pay for a job you did not do? Are you better than the contractor who collected money and did not do the project. Agreed, the University system is not working but same applies to all the systems in the country!! The electricity, water, security, road and so on! What if we all down tools? Remember, this is not just ASUU's fight, it is everyone's fight because no system in the country is working. The university, polytechnic, college of education, health, agriculture, primary school, secondary school, security, transportation, electricity and so on are not working!! The university alone cannot work in a failed system! The university cannot work if there is no food, security, health, peace, power, fuel!! It is a wholistic thing!! This is a fight that is bigger than ASUU or a single union. ASUU should please go back to class in the interest of the students and the nation. A day is coming when we will have a great and visionary leader that God will use the to start moving the country forward or when everybody will say: Enough is Enough! |
Enough is enough!! Two wrong does not make a right!! ASUU should go back to class. This is not ASUU fight alone, it is the fight of everybody because no system (not just the university) is working!! The university, polytechnic, college of education, security, agriculture, transportation, water, electricity and so on. None is working? It is beyond ASUU fight!! |
Why? Why are these politicians spending public funds anyhow? The person that walked and whatever was his choice and was not under compulsion. There are civil servant of 30years, retirees, in your state that has never owned one million naira cash nor a third hand car. We should learn to celebrate creativity and things that will move the country forward. I congratulate the man but strongly believe public fund should be well utilised. |
Congrats. So proud of you. You are a big inspiration. |
Congrats. We are so proud of you. |
It will never materialise!!!! |
