I have been expecting it weeks before now. The Russians are having logistical issues. The Ukrainians have blown up the bridges. So Russia is finding it difficult to supply it troops on the other side of the river.

The Ukrainians still don't believe that Russian will withdraw. They still believe it is a trap.

The Russians are focusing on a very important area in military technology-Missile Systems.

Mig-31 armed with Khinzal Hypersonic Missile can put the whole US navy battle group at risk. Mig-31 is an old aircraft. But it is a launch platform for a very powerful missiles. Gone are those days when you deploy fighter jet to carry out deep strike on enemy territory. Fighter jets can now fire missiles from safe distance. They are also developing new types of long range hypersonic missile for the SU-57 too. Missiles/Drones are the future. Not plane.

China is investing heavily in drone technology. In the next 10-20 years, China will surpass every other military super power in drone technology.

Imagine the magic Russia did with the Iranian kamikaze drone. The drone does not has any optical device installed on them like other kamikaze drone (US switch blade, Israel drone e.t.c). This particular drone behave exactly like a cruise missile. They installed their navigation system (GLONASS) on it and turn it to cruise missile. So the drones can not be jammed because there is no communication link. It is like a fire and forget system. The drone is one of a kind. This is the reason you see the Ukrainians trying to shot it down with their gun. If Russia can develop a more powerful engine for the drone that will increase the speed drastically. Then it will be unstoppable.

Article 5 only exist on paper. US will not risk it territory and citizens for Ukraine or any other NATO member/members. Likewise France and UK. Israel won't even participate at all. The article 5 is only going to work in a conventional war, not a nuclear war. A real war will break the alliance.

The US is not that stupid. They will never launch air raid on Russia or China using aircraft carriers. The moment you launch the aircrafts, the aircraft carrier can be put out of action by one or two Khinzal Hypersonic Missiles launched from the Mig-31. The missile can be fired from 2000km away.

Ukraine armed forces are doing pretty well in Kherson. Russia army is leaving western Kherson presently in drove. so it's a win.

Russia has a very big army. Most of her regular can not leave Russia. She also has a very big territory to man. In Kaliningrad, there are Russian troops there. They are protecting the territory against NATO. So Kaliningrad is heavily militarised. Same in Siberia (artic region). Russian nuclear carriers are concentrated in the artic. If there is war between US and Russia. The artic will become the launching pad for Russia against the US. Same in the Baltic, Caspian e.t.

When you hear, that Russian has 800k troops. Most of the troops are manning Russian borders with the enemy/potential enemy or enemies. The less than 200k troops sent to Ukraine are the troops they could afford to send on an offensive outside Russia. Since they are insufficient to do the job. Reservists are called upon to complement them. Because they can not pull out their regular troops maning their borders with unfriendly countries.

300k reservists are currently undergoing training, which will be completed by Dec/Jan/Feb. The Wagner is also recruiting/training it own fighters. There are also volunteers undergoing training too. There are about 150k or more troops that are already at the frontline.

So do the maths. We are looking at around 600k troops, with these numbers, the Russians will be unstoppable. They can still call up more reservists if necessary.

The Russians are trying to hold the line, at the same time inflict heavy losses on the Ukrainians. They are also carrying out massive bombardment of the Ukrainians infrastructures. They are trying to disrupt the Ukrainians supply line and at the same time force the civilians to put pressure on the Ukrainian government.

The best of the best of Ukrainian troops are in Kherson. They are well trained and heavily armed. In fact, some were trained in UK. But they are finding it difficult to take Kherson from the Russians, despite using HIMARS to take out several Russian arm and fuel depots.

Russia will win this war and it influence will stretch from Africa to Asia to North America to South America to Europe.

Of course Russia has more to gain. When part of Russian defence line in Kherson is flooded, they will be able to defend it well.

Russian troops are having the upper hand in Kherson for now. They are inflicting heavy casualties on the Ukrainians on a daily basis. The Ukrainians are throwing everything they have on the frontline in Kherson. Their best troops are in Kherson (including the troops trained in UK & elsewhere). They having been battling the smaller in size Russian troops (but heavily armed) in months.

Russia may retreat to the other side of the river eventually. But before they do that. They would have done unrepairable damage to the Ukrainian troops.

There is no civilians government in Nigeria that has done well in infrastructure like the Buhari led administration. The upgrade of our major airports (Lagos & Abuja), Rail project, Lagos-Ibadan road (90% completed), 2nd Niger Bridge e.t.c were done majorly under this administration.

He failed. He even said military should rebel against Zelensky. Many people called him comedian. That was the reason Kiev did not get millitary weapons like Himars. Russia underestimated UA and RA was overrated.
Most important battle is the final one according to art of war. RA has not fought last battle they are already looting, raping and killing civilians indiscriminately. RA are not disciplined. If you remove nuclear weapons, Egyptian or Algerian Army would beat RA in one one conflict.

In a war, when you seize territory, you man that territory.

Now tell me, how can you distribute your soldiers in a country as big as Ukraine?

To occupy Lviv alone, you will need more than 100k. Lviv is the largest region in Ukraine. It is the logistical hub for foreign weapon/mercenaries.

Western analyst were convinced that Russia was not going to attack, because they felt Russia needed minimum of 500k troops for a start, if she is serious about conquering. So despite US warning, Zelensky, Most Western leader and Western analyst thought Putin won't dare invade with such small troops.

Imagine deploying 30k troops to take a Kiev. A city of more than 4 million people. The 30k troops normally was not suppose to the gate of the capital. But they did. When they got to the gate of Kiev, they were ordered not to bombard the city. Russia could have subjected the capital to land and air bombardment. But they didn't.

Putin was waiting for negotiation. He was not interested in capturing. He wanted to put pressure on Zelensky to negotiate. But didn't happen.

If the government arm every Lagosians. Trust me, 300k US troops will be buried in Lagos if they invade us.
