In my sop I showed funding requirement based on IRCC requirement and I also showed funds available for the journey.
I converted all the money in my account to CAD(in my SOP)

Counterfoil and LOI dropped for everybody this afternoon.

I want to say a very big thank you to ALL the contributors on this platform, as i received everything i needed to package our applications here.
Special mention to @Bobomaigida and @Ketima (sent private e-mail to them), who both assured me that nothing to worry about when the PPR for other members of the family did not drop after that of my son dropped on the 22nd of March.

My prayer is that God will answer the prayers of those that are still expecting a decision on their application.

I applied for sowp and sp for my children, we got medical request and it has been updated to pass for all of us.

Here is my concern, one of my children's PPR dropped almost 48hrs ago, however, no update for the rest of us since then.

I sent a mail yesterday, but nothing so far. What's your advice to me?

Good day everybody, I applied for sowp and study visa for my children, 3 of them. We did upfront medical last week tuesday, no message from IOM so far. However, I got a message from ircc requesting medical for my daughter today, no message for the rest of us. I checked the portal and noticed that they are reviewing my medical result, but no update for my other children.
I'm a bit confused as we all applied together, can anyone explain to me if this is normal. Thanks so much.

God bless you for this post. I registered on this platform since 2012, but I did not know about this particular thread until last year.

The moment I knew about this thread, I had to backtrack to earlier parts, did a lot of research, screen grab as much information as I needed.

To the glory of God, with the information I gathered here, we applied for my wife's study visa in April, she got her PPR in July. She is in Canada, as we speak now. She is a first time applicant, and I remember sharing the good news here.

Please note that I never contributed for one day, after all, there is hardly anything new to add to what the 'Gurus' already have on the thread. Don't limit yourself to this part only, please backtrack to earlier parts, almost all the questions you have, had been answered in the past.

The problem of an average Nigerian is that they don't like reading, and they don't like stressing themselves. That's where the agents come in, let nobody blame the agents, as long as they are genuine. I also see nothing wrong in praising the agents here, after all nobody is forcing anyone to patronise them.

Let me stress here that I did not use any agent, and I can confidently say the information on this thread(including earlier parts), is enough for anyone to package their application on their own. Not just that, in fact the information is enough to make you an agent, if you chose to be one.

Let's not derail this thread please.

There was never a written agreement that Ukraine would not become a member of NATO, if anything, the US continued to assure Ukraine that it would become a member of NATO, in the build up to the invasion.

Let me remind you that even after the invasion, as part of the initial negotiations, Moscow still talked about the need to implement Minsk 2 agreement. I guess all that is history now.

Hmnn....so you think the Russians are stupid. The war in Ukraine was always going to happen. The Russians knew all along that NATO and Ukraine were planning an all out assault on the Donbass. If they had allowed it, it would have been very difficult for them to intervene, since NATO would be actively involved.

The Russians seized the initiative by invading Ukraine, that's why the US and its NATO allies were and are still very mad, because the Russians beat them at their own game.

As for China, they know war is inevitable on the Taiwan issue, but I think they (China) are not sure yet, if they can actually succeed in invading and taking the Island.

The difference between Russia and China is that, Russia is ever ready to pick up a fight, to protect its interest based on experience, while China is not so sure of its capabilities yet, having not engaged in any war since the Korean war.

My wife submitted her application on April 11th. That was the only time they sent any notification to her, before the PPR message dropped today.

Only the draft agreements proposed by Russia reflect the real state of affairs, the Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, said on Tuesday.

"The West is obsessed with a zeal of making ‘peace plans’ that should ostensibly lead to a settlement of the crisis in Ukraine. After all, in the event of a change in the military operation’s scenario the Ukrainian authorities and military command will not feel safe even in the underground bunkers," Medvedev stressed. He warned that various high-profile "PR visits" to Ukraine by various foreign politicians in that case "will be taking take place not in Kiev, but on the border with Poland".

"Therefore, if somebody really wishes to propose peace, there must be initiatives based on sober calculations and reflecting the current state of affairs. It is precisely this type of document that Russia proposed for discussion a long time ago. As for peace proposals formulated strictly in the interests of NATO and the Western world order, then such gestures should be simply ignored. And the steady work continued for achieving the goals of the special military operation," Medvedev concluded.

Earlier, the daily La Repubblica said that Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio had handed over to the UN and G7 partners a proposal for a peace settlement in Ukraine, involving a ceasefire, as well as a treaty on "disputed territories" and a general multilateral agreement on security guarantees in Europe
