Many may not know but the aged president has a biblical name 'Gabriel' and this happens to be his full name "Robert Gabriel Mugabe". 2. He has a political policy named after him. Like we have Marxism, socialism,communism, Awoism, Zikist etc. So also do we have 'Mugabeism,' a political policy named after Mugabe and is meant to be study by those who want to be like him. 3. He was a once a Prime Minister. Before becoming the President of Zimbabwe, Mugabe had been the Prime Minister from 1980 to 1987 after which he became the country's President. 4. During his reign he had Seven Vice Presidents and One Prime Minister. Which puts him in position of the President who had the most Vice Presidents in the world. 5. He had four children, 3 males and one female with the first male late. 6. He was once a teacher as he taught in old Rhodesia now Zimbabwe and Ghana. 7. He had been imprisoned before becoming the President and he spent 10 years. 8. He was an introvert, termed a coward and a mother's boy. Mugabe was a secretive and solitary child, who preferred to be alone than playing with other children. 9. Back in April 2007, he authorized the killing of 100 elephants to provide meat for a feast. 10. They say content is King, staying real is originality. But can this be said about Nigeria Entertainment Industry? It has gotten to a stage where we need to remind our Music Directors, Producers and singers that everything is not about "Pangolo" beat. We have to let them know it is not until when they sexually arouse us with lewd ladies rocking in their video shoot that we will become interested. Unfortunately, Most Nigerians especially youth have forgotten songs with lyrical and rich contents and prefer to shake their bums and throw "Dabs," so long the song have a fast and danceable beat. We prefer to patronise noise makers, one musician will sit down somewhere and write imaginary lines, before you say Jack, he is already at the studio with his producers looking for danceable beats. We have used this habit to force those Song writers who are ready to give us rich contents to start singing out of place. In Nigeria, only few artistes like Timi Dakolo, Darey, 2face, ASA amongst others are still holding onto rich contents and nice beats. For those song writers that deviated and decided to go commercial, I wouldn't blame them because we refused to patronized and forced them to start singing to our popular " Pangolo Beats." Passion without money is a joke. Thank God for the life of Ayodele Fayose as a white Mercedes Benz G-Wagon belonging to him was on Tuesday completely burnt down on the Oshodi-Oworonshoki expressway in Lagos. Confirming the incident, Fayose’s spokesman, Lere Olayinka said the SUV caught fire on the motion but the Governor was not in the vehicle. “No casualty recorded. Cause of the fire not ascertained yet. “There was an accident involving the governor’s vehicle on his way to the airport yesterday. Though he was meant to be in the vehicle, by providence, he was not there. “What caused the sudden fire under the vehicle is yet to be ascertained,” Olayinka told New Telegraph in a telephone chat. Thanks for viewing this thread. I am a content writer/blogger and majorly I write for blogs hosted in Nigeria and own by Nigerians. I am still a student and this stands as a part time job but recently I have been having this idea of turning it into a full blown business and also thinking of adding graphics design to it. my problem is, what are those things I should put in place and is there any body or association of content writers I should join?
