Popular Ifa priest, Yemi Elebuibon, has reveal the consequences that await any man who tries to sleep with Zynab Otiti Obanor, former queen of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. He said such man will die prematurely.
The ex Ife queen popularly called Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi last month reverted to her maiden name after her crashed marriage to the Ooni of Ife.
While speaking with the Sun newspaper, Elebuibon, an Ifa devotee revealed that any man that sleeps with her now before the necessary rituals are performed, may die prematurely.
Elebuibon disclosed that the former queen must undergo some necessary traditional cleansing in order for her to live a normal life.
“The wife of the Oba will be asked to consult Ifa and Ifa will give directions on how she will make the necessary atonement for her cleansing. In Yoruba tradition, a woman who has been married to a king cannot lay with any other man even if the marriage breaks up. But when the right atonements have been made, there won’t be problem.”
He also talked about the problems the Ooni’s ex-wife might encounter if she refuses to undergo the traditional cleansing rites.
“For the woman, she might not really have a problem but for any man, who sleeps with a queen or marries an ex-queen without the appropriate cleansing, the man may die prematurely, he may be struck with sickness or there might be retrogression in his life. Any marriage she would be going into must not be elaborate. They should go far away and avoid any flamboyant wedding.”

One of Nigeria’s rap artiste, Efa Iware, has revealed why artistes prefer shooting musical videos abroad attributing it to being cost effective and cheaper.
Iware told NAN that in Nigeria, people tend to be unprofessional in doing their jobs “which is not the case abroad”.
He said: “There are some sophisticated equipment and modern technologies required for good productions that we do not have in the country and in terms of logistics, it is very terrible here.
“If you schedule a video shoot for 8a.m., it may not start till 3p.m. or later because of hold up and other problems.
“If structures and amenities are in place in this country and we have less hold ups, maybe artistes will not go out to do their videos.”
Iware said if the artistes were being empowered and if they could get their money’s worth from the works they released, they might be forced to do their shootings in the country.
“They may be able to produce more quality videos because they have the money to go for that,” he said.
“If we have videos that are poorly produced and it is showcased, people will not go for them.
“We need to scale up our production to be as good as those produced abroad.”
The musician noted that lack of good equipment in the country was one of the challenges facing production of good videos.
“These equipment cost a lot. It is few individuals that own them and they loan it out for just a day or hours because they will need to give it to others too,” he said.
He said the country needs to put the right policy in place and give artistes rebates on the importation of musical equipment.

Apart from this, refusal to pay is like shooting ones foot, Micro Finance Banks do not toy with their money. They go as far arresting defaulters and most trader are given restless and sleepless night.

Above all these, Micro Finance Banks have been doing a nice job, it could be that our traders do not understand you don’t take a loan to fund a celebration but for the main business.


A suggestion to Micro Finance banks is to create a monitoring team to ensure traders given loan use it for what they should as this will both help the banks and customers.
