Types of Liers..

Today we are going to be dishing out different types of liers.. Liers are individuals that do create a scene out of no scene, here we go:

1. The Creative Liars: God bless this set of people with creativity but they decided to use it in a negative way, imagine someone bulding a house in the thing air.. They are never in a tight corner cause there is always one lie they can concort easily and escape..

2. The Basket Liers: don't get me wrong
it is not that they carry basket around o,far from it,these type of people will lie but it can be easily detected, their lies always have a leaking spot with no foundation at all.. immediately they start spiting out their lies, you already know within it is a lie from hell and cannot hold water...

3. The Antagonizing Liers: these set of people always have a motive for lying either to bring down someone they so much hate or damage ones integrity. You hear them swear by heaven and earth, "I swear to God who made me I saw him when he was taking the money" that's an example of their lying tactics..

4. White Liers: this set don't really want to lie but they find themselves in a difficult situation which the only thing to do is to lie to protect a cause.. E.g you are in a club and thieves forcefully try to garner information about a friend of yours, but you totally lied and even deny ever knowing him.. But come o lie na lie..

EducationA Gamble That Destroyed The Marble by Olusharp(op): 8:06pm On Jul 23, 2015
A Gamble that destroyed the Marble..

This story is for the gamblers, people
who throw the dice, shove the card
and know the winning number..

My name is George,my street friends
know me as Gking,I know you will
think the G stands for George far
from it,the G stands for Gamblers
therefore it is ok to address me as
Gamblers king.. Back then when I was
careless,tactless and reckless,when I
move about with dice in my left pocket
and a pack of cards at my back
pocket, those where my own tools for
my everyday business, it is either you
meet me at the joint where we were
battling not with axe, cutlass or gun,
but with dice,cards and money,and
other times we can create some
dubious show inviting gullible folks to
come gamble,imagine telling a person
to bet 500 Naira and he would win
5000Naira by just selecting a card,is
that ever possible? Some people
would say they believe in luck but they
end up shocked when they loose their
hard earned money, some will go as
far as praying to God before
selecting, pls what has God got to do
with this? moreover He has more
important and sensible matters to
attend to, I smile within when our
unsuspecting players think they are
winning until the hands of the game
change and start shouting Foul or is it
Fowl they want to say because that is
what they are, sorry it is late..
Only a master can beat a master at
the game, there was this day I was
going about doing the gambling
wonder then I saw this guy displaying
his brilliancy in the game and making
money, i decided to show my own
talent, atleast there is a part in the
bible that says "don't bury your talent
cause you will account for it" but
unlike this day I never knew I and my
devilish talent would be almost
buried, I move towards the guy,I
dropped my bet on his table and he
did likewise, a large crowd had gather,
I won the first, second and third
round, the guy use all his puerile tricks
at the forth and fifth stage as a master
that I was I won easily,then he
couldn't control his anger, a fight
broke out, I never for once believe in
black magic or voodoo, he hit my
chest and I dropped down like a log
of wood,the mighty gambler was
down, I couldn't stand,I was rushed
home, for month I lay on my back not
moving,not siting,not doing anything
then I was carried to a church where I
was delivered, it was then sense dawn
on me,"It was not as if I was born
with golden plate not spoon this
time,I was born with marble
plate,rather than shine and assemble
it proper maybe God in heaven would
have seen my hard work and given
me a golden plate but I gambled and
it all waddled away"

The end.

Pain of a Married Man:Money for soup...

This post you are about to read is typical to africans...

We have been living together for four years, I refuse to use the word "Marrige" because this relationship has mar and aged me than normal.. I and Tola relationship was only pleasing and sweet when there is money but reverse is the case when the opposite occurs.. when it is the end of the month my wife or let me say my partner would be the nicest person on earth "Femi have you had your bath, food is on the table bla bla Bla...." At night she will be begging me to do my manly duty even when I say I am worked up.. But when it gets to the mid month,to touch my partner is death it was like touching the panther it will bite, my wife will shout and shout nagging at the slightest mistake.. when I am down of cash I meet a sour soup and cold food on my table plus a hot fight which I take as tablet before dropping to my bed..
There was this day I was so cashless, I had crafted a plan, by 4:30am while I thought my partner was snoring and sleeping her life away,I rose from the bed and quietly stole away to the bathroom and had a silent bath, that kind of bath you just pour water on your body slowly, quietly I made for the bedroom,I wore my cloth, I was about opening the door to escape to freedom when madam rose up from the bed "if you are going to sneak away please kindly drop the money for soup before you come home again saying it is sour"

BusinessWho Changed Nigeria Accounting System? by Olusharp(op): 6:53pm On Jul 08, 2015
Who changed Nigeria Accounting System..

Years back for every Nigeria Debit entry there was always a corresponding credit entry, later on we decided to create Ledgers only to discover errors,.to check the accuracy we decided to create the Trial Balance yet the error remained, we open Journal, only to give up and abandon the errors in the suspense account but it went on to affect our trading account, income and expenditure account and even our balance sheet which we changed the name to statement of financial position thinking a change of name will change the errors.

We said there was alot in our foreign reserve yet we couldn't meet up with our budget, as things degenerated we decided to abandon our capital expenditure to atleast meet up with recurrent expenditure still we are unable to pay government workers their salaries even after sharing every dime in the federation account fund since there is nothing left in the development fund or consolidated fund, they said there had been some fraud, we dragged the Accountant General and Minister of Finance even the Governor of the Central Bank was not left out only for them to turn us to the Auditors, Forensic Auditors whose report was not made public.. Now fraud, debt errors keep on pilling in the suspense account because we are only still suspecting those that could have looted funds and changed our Accounting system..

They said our crude oil account is always in deficit never surplus, that our Natural Resources are also depleting, Naira keeps falling and depreciating no appreciation what-so-ever, comparing Naira to Dollar is now like comparing Asset to Liability one is wealth the other isn't.. They said we should try Inventory procedure but they said what are we producing and this is not a private firm..
We privatise PHCN yet we still don't get value for our money, maybe Commercialization of government agencies would have been better rather than total privatisation. They said we should cut down our expenses, they cut down recurrent expenses and capital expenses that would help the masses but refused to cut down theirs..
We only keep on piling our suspense account with no suspect yet..

MONEY IN A CASKET...
Life had been difficult from the onset,
poverty had hang it rope on
on Paul's life from the very day he
was born,he shed tears that were
abnormal for a new born baby to the
extent his parent were convinced the
baby had smelled the rag of poverty
they wore as cloth, while other babies
fed on nourishing foods and backing
it up with sucking the God given milk
from their mothers bosom, Paul had
nothing to suck from his mother
sagging breast he was spoon fed with
cassava flakes AKA Garri with a lot of
water to supplement it, which he had
to take after days of refusals, while
other babies had a lavish welcome
ceremony into the world, Paul's
parent named theirs in their one
room they created in an uncompleted
house not own by them drinking their
cassava flakes after their indoor
ceremony...
growing up for Paul was like walking in
the sun, the heat of life was so intense
and it looks as though life itself was
unhappy with him and tried it best
possible to make life a dream he
wished he never had..
while other boys of his age went to
school Paul's legs never walked closed
to the school not to talk of putting a
uniform on his body rather he learn
the art of "Scavenging" from his
father, truth be told he was not
unprofessional in the job as it
sustained him daily..
One day Paul the scavenger went
about doing his job, lo and behold on
a dump site laid a golden casket
carefully and beautifully made by the
craftsman, Paul at first was amazed as
to while the home of the dead would
be placed in a ridiculous place but
then a thought came to him "The
coffin was made of gold, while not
dispose the body in it and sell off the
gold" he thought
he went towards the coffin and
forcefully open it, he was shocked to
the marrow in it lay a lot of money he
had never dreamed of in his eternal
life, he didn't think twice he started
packing the money then he heard a
strange voice " drop my money or die
after seven years" as he was about
dropping it he heard a voice from a
distance " you are under arrest" he
saw two policemen running towards
him..
Two chances were available drop the
money and runaway from the police
or take the money and run away with
it.... if it were you what will you dohuh?

Nairaland GeneralNew Nigerian Leader Faces Monumental Struggle With Graft by Olusharp(op): 4:09pm On Jun 23, 2015
Lagos (AFP) - When Nigeria's new first lady Aisha Buhari appeared at her husband's inauguration wearing what looked like a $50,000 Cartier watch, scores took to the Internet to voice their surprise.

Was it a gift or did she pay for it herself? Hadn't President Muhammadu Buhari been elected for his frugal, clean image and promise to clean up Nigeria's dirty politics?

Others were indifferent, countering that $50,000 was peanuts compared to the billions squandered every year by government mismanagement or simply stolen through rampant corruption.

"The question really is the scale of the greed, not the fact of corruption, which is everywhere," Adewale Maja-Pearce, a Lagos-based writer, told AFP.

The money lost to corruption is mind-boggling in a country where the majority of the country's 173 million people live on less than $2 a day, particularly in the notoriously murky oil sector.

In September 2011, Bukola Saraki, who is now Senate leader, publicly exposed what he called "wastage, lack of transparency, corruption and malpractice" in the fuel subsidy programme.

Nigeria is one of the world's biggest producers of crude but a lack of working refineries means oil has to be exported and then its products imported at international market prices.

To keep prices low for consumers, the government sells fuel on the streets at subsidised prices and makes up for the high amounts spent by importers by paying them the difference.

The system is wide open to fraud: some importers rent empty vessels, pay officials to say they have fuel on board and pocket the subsidies.

"They also bring vessels filled with petrol, get the papers and then go to neighbouring countries to sell it there, so they have the double benefit of subsidies and sales," says Debo Adeniran, head of the Coalition Against Corrupt Leaders lobby group.

Saraki said that by the end of August 2011, the hundreds of billions of naira spent on fuel subsidies was already 300 percent above what had initially been budgeted for the entire year.

President Muhammadu Buhari gives an interview to Agence …
President Muhammadu Buhari gives an interview to Agence France-Presse at his hotel during the 25th A …

Buhari believes graft has made Nigeria a global laughing stock but even he has admitted the scale of the problem is unknown in a country that last year ranked 136th out of 175 in Transparency International's Corruption Perceptions Index.

"In Nigeria now the (state-run) NNPC (Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation), Ministry of Finance, FIRS (Federal Inland Revenue Service)... they do not know how many accounts the government has," he told AFP in an interview this month.

One of Buhari's biggest challenges will be to change mindsets, with Nigeria a country where money talks, particularly when it comes to politics, power and influence.

"Will he have the political will to actually deal with the people who are in the same party who contributed to getting him elected?" asked Idayat Hassan, from Nigeria's Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD).

As if to answer the question, Buhari has yet to appoint a cabinet three weeks after coming to power.

Buhari said government departments were being audited to try to establish what state they were left in by the previous administration.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan waves to the crowd …
Former President Goodluck Jonathan waves to the crowd as he leaves the office during the inauguratio …

"I want to get ministers after at least I have seen this report, so that I don't have to appoint a minister today and sack him next week," Buhari added.

- What about Buhari? -

Who will get the sought-after petroleum portfolio is a source of constant, eager speculation, with claims Buhari himself may even take charge of the sector to root out corrupt practices.

The NNPC was at the centre of a row with the Central Bank of Nigeria last year when Governor Lamido Sanusi said $20 billion (18 billion euros) in oil revenue it was owed had gone missing.

President Goodluck Jonathan, who disputed the amount, then sacked Sanusi.

With Buhari -- a former military ruler known for his no-nonsense approach to corruption and "indiscipline" -- awareness of the need to tackle graft is arguably at an all-time high.

The CDD has even set up a website -- the "Buharimeter" -- to monitor whether he fulfils his election promises.

So far, Buhari has only started to address one of them -- to publicly declare his assets. But they have yet to be made public, even though he has submitted them to the Code of Conduct Bureau.

For Maja-Pearce, hope rests in Nigeria's Internet-savvy youth.

"They know what's happening and how much their country is failing," he said.

"If the country doesn't make space for their talents by providing the necessaries then they will bring the house down."

I why should it be scraped? That you are finding it difficult to find placement does not mean other students are not finding their's easily.
You being unable to get an IT placement because you are motivated by money and not the lure to acquire necessary professional experience which is the basis of the program in the first place is your fault and shouldn't be attributed to anyone else.

Continue sleeping at home and gambling away your life on the street while smarter students have fixed themselves in a place and are already working. By the time you join the labour market and the only professional experience on your CV is the one you acquired at baba Ijebu or Merrybet's shop, na that time your eyes go clear. grin

LiteratureHow They Killed Me.. ( A Short Story) by Olusharp(op): 11:54am On Jun 06, 2015
It has been four days I ate a good
meal, I sat in the darkest part of the
room staring at nothing in
particular,my roommates had travel
leaving me in hunger, I live with a
family of 3,the husband,wife and a
little boy, they had shut the door and
window making it difficult for me to
visit the neighbors and feast with
them..
On the forth day while I sat close to
the hanger drooling, the door
suddenly opened my roommates had
arrived I was so excited as I flew out
to embrace them, the wife saw me
and shouted "darling don't let it touch
you, but you said you had gotten rid
of this thing" pointing in my direction,
the husband brought his hand close
to me to hit me I guessed I escaped
and made my way back to my corner,
"I don't know why this woman hated
me this much" the other day she
brought a packet home and placed it
on the table, I flew out to examine it, I
saw a picture similar to mine and an
inscription that read "How to Kill It in
3mins." Since then I had dreaded the
wife.
The night they arrived I waited for
them to sleep when I was sure they
were asleep, I flew out of my hiding
place singing happily i went to the
wife and landed on her,I bite her in
there different places, she rolled off
the bed scratching her body "I am
going to kill this thing I swear" she
said.
The next day things changed , the
family came in, the husband held a
can with the name "Mortein, kills
faster in 5mins" I was scared and
quickly went to hide.the wife shut the
windows and ordered their boy out
while she followed him closely, the
husband held to the can and started
spraying gaseous substance all over
the room,he ran out and I tried to
follow him but he had shut the door, I
flew around looking for a way out
when I notice death Was inevitable, I
took a pen to scribe this down should
my death be investigated by the police
or better still should my people come
looking for me they should stay off
this room and a lesson to them to
stay off any room that uses "Mortein"
I, Sodiat, the mighty sucker, the junior
food maker, ever searching wifi of the
Mosquito Generation was killed in a
brutal way, goodbye as I go to rest
with the ancestors..
The end.
