Op, I know that this your story is far deeper than what you could put out here. Many nights of sorrow and anguish. ... But what I appreciate is the 'we rise' mindset. Big ups. |
A man has found himself in between two lions gunning for his throat. He lives with one and the other is outside. I hope he chooses the right one to feed. |
What a pity! That the youths who are at the receiving end of years of mismanagement of resources are yet being used to spin tribal propaganda. That the people who instigated this tribal battle for their own selfish interests have since kept quiet waiting for another time they would spin it again and here we are still fighting. That the people who are supposed to know and hold their leaders accountable are actually ignorant and uninformed despite years of 'formal education'. What a shame! |
Pious101:Please, the link! Thanks. |
Nigerians, let's stop being too emotional over issues, I am not a fan of the COAS, neither am I a fan of the gross nepotism, ineptitude and propaganda on display in this dispensation. But looking at what the guy said, I feel the guy is admitting being overwhelmed by the situation, he may be telling us by his statement that highly placed people (Nigerians) are behind the security issues. ... That until we truly begin to hold people accountable and responsible in this country, especially Nigerians as a whole, things may continue the way they presently are. |
Let us exercise some restraints in reacting to these APC and PDP accusations and counte-accusations. From the antecedents of the ruling party, I am sure all these is leading somewhere, I feel there's something those people are trying to divert our attention from and we are here already vibrating on their accusations. Very soon, only a matter of time, what they are trying to do will come out. Nor be today. |
Oga, let's assume that this your account is true, then Jesus was born directly of flesh and blood, then Jesus would be under the category of the "All" that have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Meaning... He would not qualify to be a saviour as he himself would need a saviour, right? And if he claimed to be a saviour and claimed to die to save the world, still on the assumption, then a sinner (a product of sin) died for the whole world as claimed. Meaning ... The whole world is still in trouble, as we are still in our sin and we have no saviour. Our Faith would be baseless and the efforts of general's both gone and present were all in vain, including Paul the apostle? You see, your argument does not hold and it's dead on arrival. NOW I KNOW THAT THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS PURE AND IT SPEAKETH BETTER THING THAN THE BLOOD OF ABEL EVEN TILL THIS MOMENT. |
adubam:Please sir, can you give an expert advice on Nissan Serena bus? I am planning to buy one for business purpose, (either resale or transport ). I will really appreciate. |

It's no longer news that there is a new Sheriff in town threatening to turn our dear world upside down and shut the whole world down, the Corona virus Pandemic. Many countries have been severely hit with the disease starting from China down to Italy among many others with casualties rising with no solution in sight yet. And finally it's here in Nigeria. Over the last few days, the whole nation has been thrown into a panic mode, our airwaves have been filled with news of the virus as the number of confirmed cases continue to rise exponentially. The crisis is only going to show us up as per preparedness for emergency situations of this magnitude. We can not deny that as a nation we are not prepared, also that our government has been slow to respond not until we are now having a crisis in our hands. We as citizens have also been culpable in our believe system thinking we were naturally immuned to the virus. But here we are! But point of this article is not to focus on our shortcomings as a nation or to continue in our usual tradition of blame trading. My point is what roles can we play as citizens even as government make drastic efforts at curtailing the pandemic. Part of government's efforts is giving directives, shutting down places of congregation of people. This is a response from the government, either late or not. It's now left for us to put aside sentiments; be it religious, political etc aside and comply with these directives. Nigeria is a unique place due to our diversity and different inclinations but for once, for our own good, let us comply. Many people are still going about their businesses as if they don't know, truly many don't, maybe out of illiteracy or sheer ignorance. This area we can give our widow's mite. I observe that in the international media, the celebrities, the journalists are all creating awareness and educating people on what they ought to do. Some football players even created a 'stay at home' challenge to encourage people to stay at home. Let us also take up this challenge at home here by using our social media to create awareness, let our celebrities speak out,it's not a time to keep quiet, the media people should focus on educating people about the pandemic in this times. Can we imagine people still hosting parties even as at now! Let us all join our hands together in combating this virus afterwhich when we have overcome, we can say, Idid my bit. Please forgive my lengthy write up. It's from a concerned heart. Thanks. |
Hello @OP, All i see here is that you have a large heart. Every man has his own weakness/weaknesses but I think the signs from your man are too ominous. If you are willing to give the chance you gave him to someone else... I just sent you a dm. |

If Sanwo-olu likes, let him go to Jupiter to learn Leadership. When the powers that be decide that his time is up, nothing will save him. Well, good one anyway (on personal development level ). |
See bashing! Many of the ladies bashing her here secretly wish to be in her shoe o while some guys here will do worse if presented with the opportunity. Hypocrites everywhere. |
They will soon fight. If you know you know. |
doris4u:Miss Doris, I don't know what your criteria are in a relationship but I will like to know you. I am also looking for a serious relationship and I will like you to keep an open mind. I am a calm person as well. |
RIP to the dead. It's a pity that he had to take his own life, many of these guys believe that life does not exist outside the ivory tower and this is so because the system is programmed as such. My opinion is that something should be done about our higher education system. That you fail in some courses does not mean the end of life. People have dropped out and still made it. Some did not even attend! |

Reelectbuhari:For how long will these people continue to force this down our throat? This is what we all know, we also know that the looting of this country predates 16 years of pdp rule. All we are saying is let's find a new way of doing things. I am tired of all these 'Orin igba ni'. Let's sing a new song. Less I forget, Mr tinubu and his likes have been part of the problem from time immemorial. |
whitebeard:In as much as I agree with this your submission, let us not take the credit away from many of them that worked their asses off to get to where they are; I know quite a few. It is just a matter of the bad eggs and corrupted manners. |
To the slay queens; one spanner lost! God bless the union |
