PoliticsIn Politics The Yardstick For Sharing Things Is Productivity...... by omanzo02(op): 2:31pm On Dec 21, 2013
The Southwest and most opposition control states have been crying marginalization from the federal government, are they not aware that being in the opposition will negatively affect the patronage from the FG?, since PDP didn't produce or control these state there wouldn't be much need to patronize it, it's a general practice worldwide and the only way out of the wood is for PDP members in the oppositions state to take the states back or the opposition takes the FG before they can get exclusive patronage.
PoliticsRe: Seun (Nairaland Founder) To Vote For Goodluck Jonathan by omanzo02: 2:12pm On Dec 21, 2013
ISpiksDaTroof: Seun should first stop being a slave driver, stop making people work for him for free even though he makes a killing. He should start by paying his Mods then I'll start taking him serious.

Anyone you see that'll rather a GEJ over Buhari loves living in a lawless society where bribes take care of every illegality you commit, even murder.
Seun is a businessman, the highest bidder gets his product. grin grin grin

PoliticsRe: 50 Questions From House Of Reps To Ngozi Okonjo Iweala (CME) by omanzo02: 7:00pm On Dec 20, 2013
They just played themselves into the hands of the finance minister for not taking the matters up when she insisted she could answer their questions, being her specification and experience in the field they gave her so much time to gather concrete facts to blow them away and into confusion, the woman is a specialist not a politician and she gonna handle them like a specialist lol. Again it's an avenue to real out some achievement of the administration.

Nairaland GeneralIs Sincere9gerian The Poster Of The Year?......... by omanzo02(op): 6:33pm On Dec 19, 2013
Since BEAF left sincere9gerian has been a torn in the flesh of some posters on political matters. The thread 'Who Is Sincere9gerian' has been hanging constantly at the bottom of front page of political section for months while other topics fades out, is it because he/she is the best poster of the year?, a grand design to get his opponent to notice him?, or are the mods just in love with him/her or Sango kept it hanging that Seun, Afam4ever, OAM4J & co have up?.

PoliticsRe: Another Look At President Jonathan’s Achievements by omanzo02: 4:04pm On Dec 19, 2013
Akainzo: OBJ wasted the $16B on NIPP?
Now tell me the power plants being commissioned, were they conceptualized, awarded and commenced being built all during the 3 years of GEJ?

Your ignorance is epic. The $16B you declared as wasted is the same money that built all the power plants you are talking about now.
On privatization, is GEJ not implementing the same electricity roadmap that was designed under OBJ.

A lot goes into getting a project done than just the commissioning you know!
Where were u when GEJ administration launched his own power road map?

Dahomey Amazon: So the slow poke completed 7 roads in 4yrs?
Road construction is not farm work or magic, I have been plying Aachen - Koln road for some years still its not yet completed and Germany have the resources and technology to do a faster job, Nigerians don't reason logically.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Be The Catalyst Of Change In Nigeria by omanzo02: 10:14pm On Dec 14, 2013
take dat: And yet you claim you are not a toady! Because you have failed to acknowledge it does not make it false. Are you expecting the President to come out openly to declare his support for a candidate who isn't a member of his party? Did I even mention the President in the post you quoted? Even if his enemy wins an election, he will have to congratulate him or her in his official capacity as President.

You claim he is a break from the norm yet he associates himself more with the wandering minstrels of yesteryears, class of recycled and corrupt politicians than the ordinary Nigerians who voted him into power. I can as well say, Theodore Orji who fell out with his godfather is a break from the past. I have nothing against GEJ and I believe he will win the next election but he is not different from other Nigerian politicians
He can't just ban or throw the recycled class of politicians out of corridors of power in a swift, he would surely need some of them to achieve his aim or programs to fase some out or render them irrelevant, there is an internal struggle going on in making those oligarchs irrelevant.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Be The Catalyst Of Change In Nigeria by omanzo02: 8:31pm On Dec 14, 2013
eGuerrilla: The view you've canvassed here is akin to squeezing blood from a stone. To suggest it is pedestrian and an assault on our intelligence, is putting it mildly.

What political vision did GEJ articulate as a deputy governor? What were his achievements as a governor?

After close to 4 years as substantive president, surely, even you must know the ruse about about a cabal has been overspent.
With all sense and purposes GEJ is expected to execute PDP's vision which never exist, and the powers that be won't allow a change of status quo, in my opinion there is a systematic restructuring of PDP before his vision can sail through.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Will Be The Catalyst Of Change In Nigeria by omanzo02: 7:58pm On Dec 14, 2013
How do u expect GEJ to live up to full expectation with all the distractions and effort sabotage thrown in his path?, The cabals strategy is DON'T LET WORK SUCCESSFULLY and they won't give up without a fight, I foresaw this happening in 2011, it's Nigerians that should rally round GEJ to keep the cabals at bay, being the president and the powers at it disposals are not enough to win against the cabals, only when Nigerians are behind him the cabals will understand the game is over.
PoliticsWhat Effect Can E-blackmail And E-propaganda Have On Nigeria's Elections/2015?. by omanzo02(op): 8:48pm On Dec 11, 2013
The past few months has been rife with accusations and counter accusations, distortion of facts, names calling, impersonation, instigating comments, beer parlour gossip etc, all in an attempt to change the minds of the teeming Nigerian electorate and label the government as ineffective instead of a convincing political programs.

Nigeria political landscape to the best of my knowledge strive more on door to door, grassroot and physical approach campaign to gain electoral support. The event of 2011 proved it and so were the state elections held recently.

So, what effect can E-blackmail and propaganda have on Nigeria's election or 2015.

PoliticsRe: Bazaar: Rehabilitation Of 100km Umuahia-Portharcourt Expressway To Gulp N90.3bn by omanzo02: 10:10pm On Dec 03, 2013
Nightshift: Are you using the sub-standard Nigerian Highways(?) as a comparison to the Autobahns in Belgium or Germany? Nigeria has no standard for road construction, Trunk A roads or our so-called expressways! Roads with no lane markings or highways without shoulders are thrown to Nigerians and the safety implications are seen everyday on our roads.
U have a point on the bolded, it's time Nigeria increases it standard of roads, but I was emphasing in my post the length doesn't determine the cost.
PoliticsRe: Bazaar: Rehabilitation Of 100km Umuahia-Portharcourt Expressway To Gulp N90.3bn by omanzo02: 8:32pm On Dec 03, 2013
The highway interchange in the picture was rehabilitated with 40 million euro's ( 8.4 billion naira), one thing u have to know is that quotation for road contruction is different from going to the market to buy rice or beans, there are factors than pushes the prices up, the price/quotation is usually in hard currency I guess.

If the Federal ministry of works announced it contructed that highway interchange in the picture with 8.4 billion naira I am sure Nairaland/opposition/ activist will scream blue murder. grin grin grin

Obiagelli: I hope they(the PDP) don't stop here they should equally take care of all Widows with the same gesture, starting from edo state to the national level. Do they need a governor to misbehave before they take action. God punish them if they are doing this for political gains.
U goofed, it clear in the article that "
PDP has instituted an endowment fund for ALL WIDOWS and oppressed" in Edo state, the woman is just the person to access it.
