"For you to fix the world, u must fix Africa, for u to fix Africa, u must fix Nigeria", is a diplomatic Figurative Expression (check your dictionary lazy minds) that tells Obama and America bluntly to quit their rude politics toward Nigeria and concentrate on development together as Nigeria is a force to reckon with as development of Africa is concern. |
Billyonaire: I blame pidgin English culture for inability of kids to understand grammar.OnLy people with sound political mind and understanding understood how powerful that message to Obama is. GEJ was telling America "Nigeria is a force to reckon with in overall progress of Africa, so quit playing rude politics and let concentrate on development together". Classic. |
shymexx: It's obvious the English language isn't your first language. If he wasn't alluding to Obama, then he must have been talking to a tooth fairy.Dude, As a Nigerian my ethnic language is my first language, I definitely understood what GEJ meant, his choice of word "you" was to put his listeners in a particular position to understand his message. I am definitely sure u can't do better if given the opportunity. The 'simply putted' u are rotflmao about was an auto correction I didn't check, if u were smart as u claimed u would notice. So no need to waste time on u. |
It's very obvious most respondents here failed English language. GEJ was not even talking about Obama when he used "you", simply putted he meant " To fix the world, u must fix Africa, to fix Africa, Nigeria must be fixed". GEJ use of "you" was for a better understanding to his listener, and making sentences like that is common with Nigerians, so leave the man alone. |
This story is pure lies, what role does 600 people has to play at the UN?, even lobbying group is not that large, this sensational report is just trying to paint the government 'wasteful'. I am not convinced, try again. ![]() |
jmaine: 40+ million - 2.5 = ?Most Nigerians, the educated inclusive don't understand how difficult job creation is, countries like Spain, England, Germany and USA has been finding it difficult to creat jobs for the unemployed which is not up to 3 million each. If previous government had put in effort the deficit should have been narrowed by now. Fact is the 40 millions unemployed would take more than 15 years to put to work if the government is focus. |

For those castigating the woman and screaming, how many of u find yourself in the sector the finance minister mentioned?. If u don't then u can't feel the impact or see what is taking place, and our lazy journalist don't care to investigate and accertain these facts. Even in advanced world if information of happenings are not brought to the people they feels their politicians and administrators are incompetent or inactive. |
berem: Does that mean work has started on the road or it's yet to start? The contractors are yet to mobilize their workers to the site? Where did the pictures i saw yesterday on a particular thread come from? I don't understand o!Berem the mischief maker, did u have eyes at all?, u posted an article with checking the details, your article has a picture of work in progress of this same road u are trying to criticize the government about. So who is the foooool here? |
Gbawe is now happy government privatisation process is advantageous afterall, lol. |
Gbawe Don dey copy Beaf style since he graduated from BEAF COLLEGE OF CAMPAIGN STRATEGY, now u see how that guy was important to your training? , , |
Where is the rest of the aproko or story, or link for full reading? |
This same letter was posted here some months ago, is the OP trying new antic to make it to frontpage or just mischievously spreading propaganda?. The tones of that letter reeks of street grammar, I believe Mustafa can right officially better than that. ![]() |
DaLover: I wonder weather wishing for high speed rail line under 2 years of GEJs government have brains at all, r they aware of the cost implications of what they are asking for? They think high speed train is locomotive technology/science, even those diasporans who are clamouring for one haven't been in one before talkingless of understanding the complex technology/science behind it, if the track we have now can withstand 120km/h speed then its still very much useful. Beside we need to embark on vigorous fencing off the rail tracks from unnecessary trespasses and enact strict measures to avoid regular accident because a train can't travel faster with people littered all about the track, doing that with a fast train is pure suicide. |
Op, U reserve the right to vote for your prefer candidate, but that doesn't mean your vote alone can make him lose. Potholes in roads are not new In Nigeria and even in advance countries (especially in the winter season), Nigeria only need to work and improve our maintenance culture. ![]() |
Gej should just fast track his infrastructural development and Nigerians will decide is fate come 2015. |
There is no doubt it's been a moving years in Nigeria's political landscape, the current PDP's crisis/faction is the least expected in recent time, the merger of the opposition parties to form APC has been a burning issue for some time now and the political divisions along the divide has been captivating. So the question is, is this the much awaited political/democratic evolution that our self-centered has been slowing down for decades or a case of the prodigal Iscariot being cast away from the group? |
OP, That is not a train, it called metro/ tram. ![]() |
citizenisb: Damascus, SyriaNigerians and superstitious religious belief, OP there is no rapture anywhere, when your mate are thinking better things with their brains, u are there dreaming with your brains . ![]() |
Obiagelli: ALL THESE FOR LOCOMOTIVES ?Novice, Every train pulling sources whether electric or combustion engine is call locomotive. Bleep |
Jarus, When are u going to interview Bode George, Alao Akala, Bank'ole, Gbenga Daniel, Atiku, Alaimeseigha?. Maybe they could reveal who mentor them to do what they did. ![]() |
KWANKWASO Don recruit e-warrior too? ![]() |
Rhino.5dm:Just my thought too, what relevance does a state government add In establishing a taxi company?. |
We will be watching this space, learning from your experience, and admiring your final touches as the project progresses. Like Fhemmy would say: reporting for lecture sir!. |
Why must it always be 'we will add'?, I was expecting to hear ' we have added'. ![]() |
lawali: Spyder, pls let me ask a simple question? For most duplex design seen around, it is only one staircase available within. In case of emergencies, say fire or theft @ ground floor, how can one escapes? Will it not be better to have another stair for emergency exit from the building? Share ur thought.Though such will be nice, but base on experience most house designers concentrate more on eliminating fire incident, emergency staircase is most advisable in public, organizations and blocks of apartments buildings where more people are concentrated, but for a mansion or duplex is not really necessarily, some safety climbing or decending equipment in strategic position in the building is more than just fine, even standard requirements for block of flats of a storey buildings or duplex for 2013 in Europe doesn't include an emergency staircase. |
It's called 'glass shower cabin' ![]() |
Blame the attack on GEJ. ![]() |
Op, U are wrong, financial romance is pure Nigerian and Africans mentality, I live in a country where cash doesn't play a role in romance. I have dated and been in relationship with educated and gainfully employed women when I was not earning salary yet, the money concious relationship is why most Nigerian women are easily dumped and being avoided. Western women judge u by your prospect and not cash, period. |
initiate: One wonders what the man is doing over there self.Sambo na trainee vice president under GEJ for now, maybe na second term he go start to handle local government files if he graduate. ![]() |
